Very sour personalities, and the food on the buffet line looked disgusting. I walked around back and there's grease from the deep fryer just thrown on the ground instead of in a container to be disposed of properly. Very high priced for snacks ($4.95 for a Snickers bar). The establishment definitely caters to a different culture of food and nothing like American or Mexican style foods. I'd recommend going a few miles either east or west for much better options.

Trash everywhere. So much so I didn't want to let me animals out of the car. Deep holes in the parking lot. Leads me to believe they don't take care of the pumps like they should. You'd ended up with dirty gas

This place is in the middle of no whereof. We were driving from chiracahua when we landed here. It has a gas station. The most surprising thing for us was they had Indian food like chole, paneer , chicken curry, goat curry, daal , samosa and chai. All the Indian food was cooked onsite and it was really really good. Unfortunately I do not have pictures. If you like Indian food go for it. You won’t be disappointed. However the pizza and chicken tenders were the most horrible things that we ever had. The chicken tenders had actually gone bad and were smelling.

Neat little mom and pop stop. Has a little of everything and most of the basics. Wouldn't recommend sleeping with your windows upended unless you're WAY upwind from the truck traffic. Will plan on staying here again in the future.

Nice little stop. They had a good variety of snacks and drinks. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Coffee was fresh. They have a mural of Rambo on the side of the building which is cool to check out. They sell local fresh pistachios, highly recommended. Plenty of room to park and turn around for big rigs. They also have gas pumps.

Been to a lot of gas stations and haven’t seen reason to leave a review before.This one might as well put the bathroom stalls out in the isles for everyone to share in the experience. Went to shut the door and was told by a highly unpleasant woman, “it’s not all about you.” Seems like a very lazy and flawed solution for whatever their reasoning is.

A life saver for fuel in the oasis if Arizona pricey fuel . Decent accommodation and food .Clean restroom and fuel island .The power was out due to a storm but was up and running by next morning. The lit is gravel and dirt with some nice craters in it so go slow , plenty of room to park .

Very limited on the things they have here. It’s very hot inside. It seems like they don’t have AC. The bathrooms are disgusting, the faucets are broken, you have to force your finger in a hole to turn on the water and try to wash it with one hand. It looks like they bought the sinks, faucets and toilets from an old rest area that probably threw them out because they were old.

Quiet place to do your 10. No food in the middle of the night but that's ok. They made up for it this morning breakfast burrito is damn near 3 meals. Staff was friendly and service was awesome. Doesn't have showers but the bathrooms are clean. Gravel lot so watch for potholes.

Bowie Travel Center is home to a mural painted in honor of John Rambo who called Bowie, Arizona home in the movie series. You can also purchase mugs, glasses, and other Rambo-themed souvenirs that are too expensive, but totally worth it if you are a fan of the movies. Bowie - what you call hell, he calls home.

Not one of your big chain truck stops, BUT.... Well worth the stop. They are now branded as Chevron Fuel. The truck parking lot is Dirt / Gravel so go slow and watch out for divots.I got here in the morning and completed my 10 hr break before 6 PM local time. I am unsure of the availability of made to order HOT food later at night or if the store is still open 24 hours.Plenty of room to park.The coffee was hot and delicious.I had let the girl know in the morning that I was taking my break here and that when I got up later in the afternoon I would be looking to get some coffee. She assured me that she would make sure there was a fresh pot made before she left so that I could have coffee when I got up at 5 pm.The staff was very friendly!As for the maid to order hot food. The breakfast sandwiches I had before I went to bed were delicious and fresh.Before leaving to start my work day I picked up a BLT with a small order of fries on the side.Both The BLT and the french fries were both fresh, the fries were hot, and it all was delicious. If you are lucky and get here while the kitchen is open the food is well worth the money!

Nice place for truck drivers if you want to stop for a 10, clean restrooms they have a little restaurant the food it's decent and lots of parking space just be careful of the potholes you may get stuck

They have some good food. If you can get it when the grill isn’t broken or they aren’t closing early. 1st we stopped was great. 2nd Time the grill was broken. 3rd time they closed up early. Yes I called to see if the grill was fixed and the lady said yes but they close at 6. I tried to call to order no answer then we got there 15 til 6. We were told if we’d been here 15 min earlier we could order.I guess this is a check mark for the DO NOT STOP.

I stopped here more out of necessity than convenience. We needed a place to change and feed the kiddo. There is a very large gravel parking lot, gas station, and snacks. The employees were friendly enough, and the parking lot didn't feel sketchy.

Convenient place to stop off the highway but nothing special as far as your standard convenience store. The mural was cool though. If you remember from the movie... Rambo II, (Rambo, John J. born Bowie AZ, 1947)
