BENSON LUMBER is the best hardware store I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The people are helpful, respectful and caring. Every time I go and I don't know what I need, they go above and beyond to find out the solution to my problem. It's the old school customer service that most places are lacking.

Arrived at the store at 4:45 to find the lights off and the sign turned to closed. Went to the parking lot to call other hardware stores and noticed other people entering/exiting the building. Went to the door which was unlocked. I asked if they were open and the lady responded "No, but what do you need?" I told them I was looking for concrete blocks that I had called to confirm they had in stock. I was told the yard was closed and to come back tomorrow(another guy inside the store stated the yard was still open). I informed the lady I drove an hour to get to the store and asked if they were supposed to be open until 5. No apologies, no explanation, no excuses. Very disappointed in the "service" I received here.

I have occasion on a fairly regular basis to go see these folks for supplies.The staff are very kind, helpful & always willing to go the 'extra mile'. They will either point out where items are located or will walk with you to find an item.The pricing is very competitive with the local market and the business is always clean & safe.Parking can be somewhat complicated at times, but there is also StreetSide parking next to the business.

Angel and crew are fantastic. If they don't have it, you will probably not find it in Benson. If you need anything they will find it. Prices are reasonable

I am a new transplant to southern AZ from colorado and have have found this Excellent lumber yard with high quality wood products at a very good price. Came in about 4:30 on a Monday and ended up spending almost an hour there even though they closed at 5 the staff was amazing at letting me get everything and not pressuring me to hurry, including helping me double check that I had enough of what I need. Was able to get everything I needed and since the prices were very good I was able to get everything I thought I would have to make a extra trip for when I had more money. Thank you to the wonderful staff for all the help with loading and finding the right products for the project I'm working on. Well worth the extra miles coming from sunizona. This will be my new permanent hardware lumber store and highly recommended! I purchased 12 2x4's and 12 1x2's that were straight, clean and not cracked right off the top of the stack . I have never been to a big box lumber yard and had such good quality lumber available without digging to the bottom of the stack, if they even had it. Great prices on hardware as well, needed screws of different sizes, brackets for framing, t-50 staples, and drill bits, all at a great price allowing me to also afford a box of plastic sheeting .Thank you again to all the wonderful staff for making this a very pleasant and memorable experiance.

Though I haven't had need of anything building supply yet, I have had need of the FED EX station inside on 2 occasions. Both times I was given the attention, service and expedience I needed to meet very short timelines sending important legal documents out of state. They also carry all the supplies needed to send anything where it needs to go unlike the other pick up / drop off locations in town. Because my documents were handled by Benson Lumber staff - not Fed Ex staff, Benson Lumber gets the review.

Purchased metal z channel last week for $8.00 each due to they didn't have it in the system, in fact they didn't know they had the material. Went there today to buy the same z channel and only one person wanted to charge me more money, 12.95 per piece. I will drive to Tucson to buy material for now on. The saying "Live in Benson shop in Benson" is total BS, it is just a way for local businesses to charge more. I will never shop at Benson Lumber again

Just an FYI they don’t accept drop off for UPS. There is a drop box in front of the dental building in benson near medicine shoppe.
