They didn’t have her toenails trimmed, or Peri area trimmed and the trimming around her feet done. They didn’t seem like they were very professional this time. Anybody going to this petco on Avondale and the Mcdowell one need to make sure you check your Pet before you go home because they do not do their job.

I called ahead about having my dogs nails trimmed, and they were unable to do it when I walked in like they said. Also the store was very dirty and smelled awful.

I decided to try this Petco out due to the good reviews (I am not from this area and will not be here long). I am very pleased with how my Scotty looks. I have had some poor experiences with other groomers in the past but these ladies were very sweet and did a beautiful job. My only concern was that maybe her nails were trimmed a little to short but she seems fine and as I said LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!. Good job ladies!!

Yesenia did an amazing job. The cut was great and she was super nice and knew exactly what to do. Scheduling was a nightmare though. We tried to call and there was no answer. The online app is not user friendly at all. After our 4th call we got ahold of someone. The person on the phone was extremely rude. She said our dogs never went there before even though they had gone for almost 2 years. We were told we had to get records from the vet before they would see our dogs. When we got there, Yesenia was able to find them in the system right away though. She gave our dogs a great haircut and the dogs look adorable. She is so great!!! The person on the phone frustrated my wife enough to where she was ready to just go elsewhere. They could learn a lot from Yesenia when it come to the computer system and how to handle customers.

I am extremely disappointed in Petco. I dropped off my dog at 9 am and wasn't able to even get anyone to answer the phone until after 3 pm. Upon arrival I noticed my dog Bella was limping on the way out. As I was walking out of the door the tech followed me out to mention she was tender when she was cutting her. She failed to mention she cut her under her chin near her neck! She also has hair that looks like it was yanked out near her nose. I can not believe my dog was mistreated in this manner. I don't understand how no one noticed my dog was bleeding and no one thought to mention it!

I love the work and care that is taken and only scored slightly lower because my dog was limping pretty bad when I picked him up. He has arthritis and something minor may have happened that cause his limp and I was informed right away. I am still happy with the cut and the overall experience.

Do not shop at Petco especially this one. Went in the store on Friday spent 300$ on a cat tree and supplies. Saw some fish I wanted to get for my new fish tank so I went back on Saturday morning, barely any employees to be found to help me. Walked to the front of the store and 3 of them were up there having a conversation and not helping customers. I asked for someone to help me in the fish depth and was told someone will be back there soon. So when the girl came back there I told her I wanted to buy 4 fish, she begin grilling me with questions regarding why I wanted the fish .Then I was being lectured about why I couldn't have the fish because she said my tank is not the right size. I didn't know teenage workers at Petco were zoologist and were a part of the ASPCA. I told her I have had these fish before and I am fully aware of how to take care of them, she was more concerned about the 30 day warranty not being valid. I told her I don't care about the warranty I'm not returning the fish. She then tells me to wait and gone and brings back another teenager named Sabrina the shift manager. She then starts lecturing me on fish care. I asked her if she was going to lecture me or sell me the fish? She then still arguing with me over some FISH that were a whole 10$! Told me she is Refusing to sell me any fish! Really! She us Refusing to sell me 4 fish because she said they were not going to a good home and her fish must go to good homes! No I'm on 100 anger level about now because I didn't go to a pet store to get lectured and insulted over 4 fish. This is beyond poor management and cancel culture will help you go out of business. Now businesses wonder why they a facing to online retailers, this is why. Nobody wants to enter a store and have to deal with this type of nonsense. That is the last time I ever shop at any Petco.. good luck staying in business!

Chrissy is an excellent example of customer service done right. Her interaction with our pets and ourselves is exceptional. We love the attention to detail she pays to Missy, and are always delighted with her grooming experience.

My puppy died from catching PAVO at this location, they didn't want to help me at all after they knew what they did. They also deleted my last review but it's ok I will keep posting until they apologize for what they did.

Dropped in to have my dog’s nails trimmed like I always do. Two groomers there, no dogs, groomers doing nothing. Would not do a 5 minute trim and the only excuse they gave me was “we don’t trim nails on Friday because of COVID.” What kind of customer service is this????

Salon seemed really dirty, groomer brought my dog out to me without a leash or collar. Luckily my dog is not a runner, but if she was a runner I would be quite alarmed that the groomer brought her out with absolutely nothing to control her. I had her leash and collar on the other side of the gate and caught her after the groomer opened the gate.

Ciara has been cutting out dogs hair since she was a puppy. She is an amazing groomer with love and compassion for her job. She does a great job on our dog's hair and we do not trust anyone else with our dog except Ciara.

My dogs hair cut completely off whiskers mustache. All of his hair. I know he was matted in a couple of spots but I feel the girls didnt want to take the time out to trim him instead skinned him like a pig even his tail He is a Shih Tzu that looks nothing like his breed now he looks more like a Pug. I'm so very disappointed and will never take my dog back to Petco. Something told me.to take the extra 5 min drive to Petsmart because petco and staff SUCK.

horrible haircut... our pup doesn't even look like the same dog or breed.. wanted her trimmed up and they shaved all her hair off. took away every feature of a goldendoodle. so sad... horrible experience and will never return except to get our money back..

My appointment was at 10.00 and I called at 1 and they still had not finished grooming. I called at 3 after my fog being there for 5 hours. They still hadn't clipped him . I am not even sure he got a proper bath. He didn't smell clean. I am extremely unhappy with this service.😞

I love the grooming center of your store. EVERYONE is so nice. The girls always have giant smiles on their faces each time we are there.
