Greatest cvs pharmacy went to doctor and send my medication cvs pharmacy on Van buren & Avondale and my prescription was ready like in 10 minutes.

The staff at this location have a bad attitude in the pharmacy. The person that checked me out was nice and helpful (during this visit) but I could hear the staff member attending the drive-window telling-off a customer. It’s was shocking. They were saying, “Is that it, because every time I walk away you need something else. So, tell me now so you don’t do that again.” It was really clear by her tone that she was angry and irritated with the customer. It was really awful to hear her speaking to someone that way. Even if the person was being annoying it’s the staff’s job (literally) to be patient and help. It’s not the first time this has happened. I have been on the receiving end of the pharmacy staff’s bad moods a few times. I was in the drive-up doing a PCR test and forgot to put the paperwork in the bag for the lab. I went into the store to give it to them and the staff member scolded me and said, “that’s supposed to go in the bag” with a super shard tone, and was rude and really disrespectful. I’ve had interactions with the manager who is just overly talk-y and asks too many personal questions and is then rude and weird if you don’t want to engage in business in that way. It’s like the staff is just angry and bitter all the time and they are going to make sure you know how irritated they are with you. CVS seriously needs to retrain the pharmacy staff. It’s a terrible experience dealing with them. And seriously, people that are picking up medicine have all kinds of issues that they are dealing with and not feeling well or have sick family and do not need to be treated poorly by a bunch a discontent, impatient, disaffected staff. If it’s too hard to do the job of interacting with the public they should get another job where compassion, empathy, maturity and professionalism is not required. CVS you need to do better.

The drive thru is limited to one line, so it usually takes a while to get through. But the staff is friendly and helpful.

Try to be at least 30 mins before they close because they stop letting people 10-15 before closing time.
