For $45 a night with two beds in separate rooms and a kitchen with microwave, fridge, oven and stove this is a bargain for being 20 minutes away from Williams where you pay $125-$200 a night. It's an older property but has clean sheets, comfortable beds and nice towels. The pillows are kinda flat but who cares we always bring our own pillows. The owner is very nice and we are not big fans of the in room gas heater which did really worked well but because of the smell he gave us a plug in electric heater that kept our room nice and cozy while it was 20 degrees outside at night. The property looks run down on the outside but it's clean on the inside with a nice bed for a perfect sleep before coming or going to the Grand Canyon.

Totally worth the price!! Would stay again awesome experience, I felt like I was staying at my great grandparents house again. She walked us to our room and showed us to settle us in. It's a 1930s building that scared me at first but ended up being awesome. Not a lot of room for luggage bags ut was very clean with remodeled shower. No ice machine and gravel parking but like I said it's an experience and it is really beautiful if you take the time to appreciate it.

45 bucks for a night, great deal. Wasn't expecting much but was extremely pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean, and had a quaint feel to it. Rooms had kitchenette and very modern bathroom. Manager was extremely friendly. Overall, great place, would stay again on our say through town.

Rooms are cozy and clean. Beds are in good shape. The staff is polite and helpful. It isn't in perfect condition but for $45/night we will gladly keep stopping here on trips through the area.

Didn't get in until late. Truck broke down, so had to wait on tow. Staff was very polite and helpful. Even helped out with a bike jump when it wouldn't start. Historic look, but clean and warm room. Would recommend definitely!

The Copperstate Motel is another iconic representation of Historic Route 66. It is very good for what it is. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Microwave and fridge in our room. The owners and other guests are friendly. Built in the 1930's(?) the rooms are dated. Note that there are storage sections with different stone work between the room buildings. I'm told that they were originally areas for horses and carriages. We would stop in again.Lulu Belles BBQ is a short walk. Great food. The Ash Fork Route 66 Museum was interesting and worth visiting. We had a nice day trip loop Sedona, Jerome, Williams (stop at the Sultana Bar for one) and back to Ash Fork.Heading east to Ash Fork? Get off the interstate at Kingman to follow a nice section of Historic Route 66.

Doesn't look like much on the outside. AndAndBut building is old. A leftover from the old Route 66 days. Nothing fancy. But rooms are clean. Beds descent. Nice western mural painted on a wall. Would stay again. Well worth the $35.

This was surprisingly a really beautiful motel with a gorgeous view of the night sky. It’s areas like these that truthfully allow one to be in awe of God’s wondrous ethereal splendor. The night view from this area could potentially provide the muse for your next novel, anthology or movie script.I came here on my route towards California when I was anticipating working for a particular employer. Although that did not ultimately manifest, I appreciated the opportunity to be in this part of Arizona (Crazily enough, the name of the town was reminiscent of a boyfriend from my past). My motel room was beautiful in its simplicity and provided a temporal glimpse into a past before today’s current mass use of technology.I would only warn about possible bed bugs as I did experience some sensations of bites in the wee hours of the morning. Bug spray may likely be necessary but moreso as a precaution. Enjoy!

Humble yet very clean. Comfortable bed, spic and span bathroom, groovy murals, pets ok, close to coffee and gas. Maybe too kicthy for some but we loved it and will return, the innkeeper Ruben is very gracious and accommodating. The ribs at the new restaurant next door were really dry but cheap.

If you want a simple unassuming place to spend the night on the way through AZ. This is the place for you. We read a couple of good reviews online and decided to give it a try. When I called to make a reservation they just took my name. Told me it’s OK.When we arrived at the reception the clerk already knew who I was.The room we got had two queen beds. One of the queen beds was hidden in a private chamber at the back Which was about 7x8’.The bigger room had the other bed. It was about 10x10’.Together with the bed the bigger room also had a kitchen counter with sink, dishwashing soap, a small refrigerator, a gas range and oven and a small microwave oven. Also you could find a few dishes in the cupboard - plates, bowls, cups, silverware. The TV was a 1990’s style curved screen crt with cable. Don’t expect to be watching TV. The display was old and the images greenish and blurred. The room has a limited number of power outlets. I had to charge my phone and laptop on the counter next to the sink. There is a guest wifi network, but it’s not working. I am using my cellphone’s hotspot to write this review. There is also a small window AC unit, and gas heater. When we stayed there it was over 80 degrees outside, so we needed the AC which was a little noisy but effective. The room and beds are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is tiny and clean. We paid $45 for the night.

Clean rooms and friendly staff with cat and kittens. Historic old route 66 motel with stone exterior. They are upgrading the Cooperstate, our shower was newly re-tiled. Stayed two days in March, close to store for hot coffee in morning. Walking distance to country breakfast.

Nice little place to stay, but I forgot my airbuds(expensive) and they refused to send them back to me! on our way back down from California I called them to ask them if I could stop there and pick them up oh, and they made an excuse that they weren't going to be back for an hour and that they could not send anybody to the office 😡 to be there if I would stop to pick them up! So sad! they also said that they didn't think the manager would pay to send them back to me, sadly they assumed he wouldn't don't think they actually asked him if he would because I never got called back to let me know if they asked the bossbor not?!?? :-(

So inexpensive and so rustic - this is a true Route 66 gem. It's not glamourous, but a clean bed and shower is all I need. I slept so well!

Minimum comforts but the roof had a leak in the bedroom above the dresser, and one above the foot of the bed. I only came because it was a must stop place. Cheap but that's what you get for cheap.
