This place is amazing! They truly love and care about dogs. I have had other groomers and when I picked up my "babies" they have been shaking and even cut and razor burned. That never happens here. My dogs are well cared for, and happy when I pick them up. Been coming here for a few years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I totally trust these ladies and appreciate the input they give if they feel something may be wrong with the dog. Today they suggested one of my two dogs might have Valley Fever so am going to get him tested. Thank you ladies, you are the best!!

I highly recommend this place. I have been going here for a few years. Everyone is so nice and does a great job with my dogs. They look so good and happy when I pick them up. I am always pleased with the job they do and prices are very good especially for a nail trim.

Very caring people. You can tell they love n care for the dogs and their jobs. My Chihuahua hates to have his nails trimmed, but they do good n care about his anxiety. I have found my now and forever dog groomers for any of my future pets. Thanks you all! Oh, and the price to trim nails....wow, fantastic, cheapest in all the valley (I believe so anyway)

I have two miniature Dachshunds that I take here to have their nails trimmed and their glands expressed. One of them is really good and the other one is so difficult to do it's terrible. But they came up with a plan to put her in a hanging harness and then she totally becomes docile and let's the groomer trim her nails and express her glands with no problem. These ladies are amazing, we totally love going here and they are so sweet to our dogs. If you need a good place to go, I highly recommend these ladies.

It’s been awhile since I brought my boy a Pyr/German Shepard mix, here because they were booked out awhile so I decided to take him somewhere else. Big mistake, he left that other groomer completely traumatized! I will never bring him anywhere else again, no matter how far they are booked out! My boy was sooo happy when he left What-A-Mess and they said he was very well behaved. These ladies will be my only groomer from now on!!!!

This place is great! Every time I've taken my dogs there it has been a good experience. Reasonable prices with walk in nail trimming only $5.I can't recommend them enough!! The mother and daughter owners are very caring, friendly and they do a great job! I also thank you for your patience & kindness.

Super nice dog friendly people running this establishment. My dog is always apprehensive about a grooming visit, but here he was relaxed and happy when I panicked him and not all jittery! And with the added bonus of top quality work at the right price. Thank you ladies!

Awesome groomers. Very patient and gentle with my anxious dog. Much more caring than my previous groomer. I can't say enough positive words to represent the work of these women. I won't go anywhere else. Give them a try. You won't regret it.

We take one of our super sensitive, high maintenance dogs here for routine grooming. He returns to us looking very handsome and surprisingly calm, not shaking like a leaf, which is unusual. The staff are very nice, skilled groomers and do a fantastic job every time! Thank you.

Really disappointed with the customer service of What-A-Mess Professional Dog Grooming in Apache Junction. I made an appointment over a month ago for my dog to get washed and cut. When we came in for our appointment today they told me "we didn't know it was a big dog, we are going to have to reschedule you because our big dog groomer is not here today, I would have called you but I did not know the breed". No apologies or anything! When I told her we were going to go somewhere else instead she said "well there's not much you can do when an employees car breaks down". I totally understand things come up but you need to handle it with good customer service, not treating it like it is our fault that you didn't write down what breed our dog was. Also our dog is 35 pounds.. so not huge. Anyways, I love to support small businesses but I personally did not have a good experience at all with this one.

Love it the ladies at What-A-Mess. My two little Chihuahuas are very frightened of others but I have no problems with them at all when I take them to get their nails cut. Samantha is so gentle with them. $5.00 is a great price too!

I came in here as a walk in for a nail trim with my very unsocial chug ( chihuahua pug mix) he was so nervous but the young lady working there said it's ok and sat on the ground with me and my Tasmanian devil 😉 and trimmed his very dark nails. Couldn't ask for a better experience. You can tell they truly car for pets. Thank you again.
