I love this place! Everyone I have spoken to here has been so helpful! I recently obtained an abandoned bearded dragon and didn't know much about how to take care of it. I came to this store because it is right down the street from my house and was pleasantly surprised. They have lots of reptiles on display, some running loose. When I first walked in I almost walked right into an ostrich that was walking around. Another bird came up and started pecking at my feet. The lady working at the counter greeted me with a huge smile. When I told her about my situation she had lots of information she was willing to share and did not even try to sell me anything. My experience has always been the employees walking me right over to the most expensive tank and supplies that are overpriced and not needed. Not here, I actually left after only spending a few dollars on crickets and worms and a head full of tips on how to make my new dragon more comfortable. I have since gone back for more items and every employee I have dealt with had the same demeanor. They all seem happy to be there and more than willing to help answer any questions I may have. I definitely recommend stopping in. If anything, just to look around.

This eclectic and WILD animal and reptile store is really cleaning up its act. It's been here forever and is known to be a little sloppy and well loved. I stopped today for reptile good and the place sparkled! It was clean and neat with new cages and displays. I was super impressed. A fun store to take kids to that has a wide variety of critters with very friendly staff.

What a cool place!!! Me and my kids had a blast coming here to meet the staff and their very cool pets that walk or fly around the store. Got some tasty treats for our geckos too!

Always drove past it, and this was our first experience. If you love animals and wildlife, maybe insects or fish, this is where you wanna be. Walking through the door, the komodo dragon looking (asian water monitor) walking around mixed with the tiny emu strolling too and endless enclosures of snakes and reptiles left me and the kids in awe. Amazing to see so many species coming together in one small space to create this experience. You may hold or pet any of the creatures they have, btw. If you ain't buying, then at least tip them. 🤷 Our trip ended with a bird landing on our heads and laughing as it did. 😄 Bring your kids if they are well seasoned. (No pun intended). Amazing spot brothers ☝️

This place is absolutely awesome! their store has so much personality and all the staff is very friendly and a lot of fun to talk to + they have everything you could ever need, make sure to get a couple good stories when you visit!

Come here weekly for food for our Desert Spiny Lizards. They owners and staff are very friendly! They love answering questions my kiddos have on the critters and boyie... do they have alot!!!! So much variety!! When family come into town we will go there just for fun and see what is new. Love that they are working hard to give it a face lift so to speak. The new mural on the out side of the building looks great!! Keep it up :)

This has become my happy place. What a warm and wonderful staff and owner, I love going in to interact with the critters. As an RV dweller and current cat mommy, there’s nothing much I need in there, but the vibe is absolutely amazing. I didn’t think of it until I’d left this morning, but next time I’m going to ask what kinds of bugs I can purchase to feed my favorite friends while I hang out.Friendly reminder (which I remind myself a lot) it’s as retail store and they’ve got tasks to attend to beyond telling me about the critters. I try to leave a tip when I go in to thank them for the education I receive there. Even on days I can’t though, they never make me feel unwelcome or rushed. What a magical place and I’m so lucky to have it right around the corner from home.

WOW!!!! I was truly amazed with the customer service that Catch and Zyler gave us. Coming in from out of town having lived here 30 years ago they treated my wife and I like family. Extremely patient answering all our questions and more knowledgeable about the reptiles and insects. You can tell they really love this place and take ownership of every living thing!!! They made my week!!!! I can't thank them enough or express the warm and fuzzy feelings we left with. My wife saves every animal on the planet...we stop on the road for salamanders, frogs, snakes, bugs, deer, squirrels, skunks, etc etc etc... I never thought I would ever meet anyone who loved animals as much as her...Thank you Catch!!!! We WILL be back!!!

I love going in here. All of the staff is so kind. They answer all my questions regarding care for my bearded dragon. The quality of the bugs I get is better because they last longer than the pet store. I love petting the animals and just everything about the store

This place is phenomenal, I don't understand how anyone could leave a negative review. The staff here were so kind and helpful, allowing us to hold multiple snakes will educating us on the best kind for a starter snake for our 10 year old daughter. Sure the store has a smell to it, it's called a reptile store. Don't let that deter you and honestly you get used to it after 5 minutes and it's not an issue at all. The selection is amazing, their prices are excellent, we had so much fun spending several hours talking with the staff and looking at all the different reptiles. Declan and Catch(spelling?) were wonderful to deal with, we highly recommend this place. We had a couple other reptile stores to go to and after going here we didn't need to shop around any further!

I really wanted to like this store, it has so much potential but unfortunately I'll have to take my business elsewhere. This store Is completely unsanitary, you can smell ammonia and feces when you pull up in the parking lot. The animals are in dirty bare enclosures with old food and poop littering it. My last visit was the worse, I walked in and I couldn't breathe inside the building at all from how much amonia was in the air from un Unclean bedding soaked in urine. If you have health or breathing issues please don't go to reptile junction for your own heath

This shop is very unique! He sells reptiles and everything to house and maintain them properly. He also has feeders. I loved all the animals just roaming the store. Decklin even let me hold the friendly anaconda. She was truly beautiful! The emu "Rat" (she is there on mondays) was so sweet!

It was amazing to see the Apache reptiles at the Tucson reptile expo! If your ever out in aj or want to see an amazing shop stop by and say hello. 100% recommended anyone on that is looking for a new family member go here! Owner is super friend and Nices, if you have any questions on the reptile your adding to your home he can help with all your questions. I have add a couple snakes to my family from Apache reptile, and will be going back to add more.

Okay I want to start by saying I am socially awkward. I rarely feel comfortable in public places. I was made to feel like I was welcome.The staff chatted and taught about the animals with obvious interest in what I wanted to learn. For a month I visited several times a week and held several animals. I NEVER got the hurry up and buy something vibe. I was always welcomed like a new friend! After much internal argument. I narrowed it down to either a black and white Columbian Tegu. Or a Merauke Blue Tongue Skink. The skink's pink belly was the deciding factor. Her name is Tia.Btw. Still go in to learn. Thanks guys!

BEST REPTILE SPOT IN ALL OF AZ!!I CANNOT say enough good about this place!Declan was extremely knowledgeable when it came to questions asked, and has a gentle but amazing handle on the animals!! This isn’t just a reptile store, this is a reptile HOME for beautiful creatures. The animals here are VERY loved and cared for!! Will be returning, and cannot wait to see this store blossom into something huge and beautiful! Y’all DEFINITELY blow all the other reptile stores out of the water! To the owners, AMAZING JOB!! Honestly my girlfriend has been going here for years. It seems like a cool place but if you honestly love the creatures you buy enough to take them to the vet, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. She got a Savannah monitor from here as a Xmas present to herself. The reptile had parasites, ticks native to Africa & some other severe issues. She wanted to get a refund for the creature (I was sure they wouldn't, but she insisted that they probably would), they refused a refund (unless she brought the creature back, even while she showed them the vets visit which totaled over $300, when she spent $75 on the creature) but what horrified both of us the most is when the nice gentleman said "Oh we pick those off of our animals all the time.".... Ladies and gents, this is the most honest thing I have ever heard from a pet store worker & it is horrific to an extreme. I'd recommend Predators off of Dobson. But this place... yeah if you care enough about your critters, creatures & animals.. yeah don't buy anything here.

The staff at home fast reptiles and exotic is by far the most well knowledge, kind, and all around the best people I have probably ever dealt with when it comes to an exotic pet. Going into the store is like walking into the magical menagerie in Harry Potter and you're a Hufflepuff about to go to Hogwarts this place is amazing I cannot express to you how wonderful this store is

Best pet shop in the world!! Came here all the way from Europe, a much more impressive, friendly, personal and passionate experience than any sort of zoo or national park could ever hand you!! The store owner is the chillest dude ever, gave us a full tour of the zoo, let us hold reptiles and provided a valuable insight into what it takes to take care of all of them! The day I was there coincided with the day of the week where there was an emu as well as a gigantic tortoise walking around the shop, an unbelievable sight:))If you are an animal lover, this is an absolute must see!! No matter in which part of Arizona you find yourself, 100% worth traveling to, you won’t be disappointed;)
