Seems like a nice place to chill out and relax .I love fried pickles and these are better than most places I've tried !!It was a little pricey but the food was good quality.The bacon is thick and tender , not cripsy for anyone considering a blt.The tomatoes were fresh and deliciousI wish I could stay for pin ballVegetarian options: Don't reccomend for vegetariansParking: Dirt lot to the west of bldgKid-friendliness: It's a bar but kids are welcome

This place was pretty good. The food was ok and the prices were spot on. There was a little guy who brought us our drinks and I think he was the waitress's son. The place was nice, warm and it had a nice amount of antiques to look at. The name is a little misleading because there is no "Still"(it apparently means bar). There is a candy shop in it that has all sorts of goodies.

We stopped in Alpine during a long drive and decided to eat at the Grill & Still. It was mid afternoon, not really a high traffic time, so there wasn't much waitstaff, but we weren't in a hurry anyway. The restaurant is rustic and probably more suited to the nighttime crowds. They had a great country playlist going, and lots of interesting signs, hats, and tee-shirts tacked up on the walls and ceiling. Just inside the restaurant is a separate ice cream shop if you just want to grab a treat. Since it was not the busy time of day, we seated ourselves, and the waitress brought the menus. We ordered grilled chicken salad, seasoned waffle fries, and pepperoni pizza. The fries and pizza were great! The salad was mediocre but, well, it's salad and I needed my veges for the day. 😊 An interesting touch was the strips of mixed cheeses on top of the salad. The waitress was nice, if a bit distracted, but we would likely eat here again if we were driving through town.

The mushrooms were the only thing we got that tasted good. The cheese curds were overcooked and had a burned aftertaste. The fish and chips (recommended by the waitress) was disgusting, rubbery, and had burned batter (hard and browned to a crisp). The oinion rings were overcooked too, and so was the burger. We paid $65 before tip for food that I don't feel was in any way, shape, or form worth it. Despite the bad food, though, everyone we encountered was really friendly.

It's a small town. So being from out of town you kinda get put on the back burner, and I get it. Staff was friendly. Even helped me entertain my kids when the machines were off and helped me turn them on. Definitely gonna be back!!! 5 hr drive worth it!!! 1000 times. Also in the review it asked about "parking and wheel chair access. If you didn't know the snow round there. Trust me. It's sometimes almost not easy for those on two feet. Lol

Very friendly laid back staff who offered great recommendations. And have to say the beer pour was spot on! The portion sizes are very generous and delicious as well. Nice little joint, with some cool pinball machines, and ice cream parlor in the front of the restaurant.

The food here was good. When we came the dinning room was being remodeled so we had to sit in the bar with our 7 year old and 5 year old. It would have been fine for a family minus the picture/s of a lady without a top on. They have a few different businesses in there. There is the restaurant, an ice cream shop, and a candy shop.

Honey BBQ wings and fried mushrooms. Mmmmm! The wings were crispy and we're sauced well. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly. Not greasy at all. Would have liked the ranch dressing a little thicker, but otherwise, solid choice in Alpine.

We went in to get ice cream and there was a family behind us that the waitress saw standing there, but as we ate outside, the family came out 15 minutes later saying they never served them. Horrible customer service in my opinion. You couldn't miss a family of 5 with a little girl crying on the way out the door.

What a gem! Something for everyone. Family style dining on one side, bar seating on another..... And then for the kid in every one of us, they threw in a candy/ice cream shop. The food was fresh and delicious. Huge portions. Will be back!!

We found this gem when we took the wrong road. The best kind of road trip is when you get lost. The service was friendly and fast and efficient. On of the best meals since we started our road trip two weeks ago.Cole slaw had the right amount of spicesand mayo and was fresh. The grilled cod my sister had was fresh and tasty and cooked just right. My French Dip was tasty and tender and very fresh

We ate there 2 nights, the first night...we thought they were having a "bad night". The food was cold and the chicken had a consistency of rubber. I tried chicken parmesean the next night. The plate had a red liquid...as if the unflavored sauce was watered down. 0 seasoning. The cheese was a giant unmelted glob. The pasta was undercooked. Again...the food is cold. For the prices they charge...they need to do better.

Live music on Thursday. Several good beers on tap. The burger and the meatloaf were fantastic. The bartender/server was working her butt off -- when it's busy, you might have to wait a bit.
