For a hometown market/general store, they sure got a lot of variety... all kinds of things beyond just groceries and hardware/home/garden. Trinkets galore, blankets, camping, BBQ, toys, books, essential oils/sage/candles... and I'm sure more beyond that I didn't see! So get over there, it's your one stop shop for food, home repair and buying a last min gift for someone!

Well stocked snd lots of variety for small town market. Great deli chicken, plump and juicy. Produce is exceptionally fresh and has an organic section. But.... some of it is extremely high $.99 bananas $6.29 ib for grapes, tomatoes $3 to $4 lb.... It balances out I guess for the exceptional freshness nd there are acceptable prices for a lot of stuff and specials. The meat is cheaper than normal and exceptionally good as well. Best dog bones Ive found in months. Water dispenser outside, good parking.

For a small town grocery, they have a great amount of variety. Even a lot of sugar free and no added sugar items. The cashiers are always friendly.

A great service for the community of Ajo. The people working there are indifferent at best and the management is grumpy. The manager wears a permanent frown. Doesn’t seem like a very happy place.

For around 40 items is almost 300 dollars. Unbelievable. I do not know how the people who live in ajo can afford to shop there for even if it's only for a few items.

One of the best hardware stocked places in town. A variety of groceries and beer, wine, liquor. A good dinner during the day, and really good fried chicken offered in bags for pick up. Plus really nice staff.

IGA store with a hardware store. They have a good selection. Prices are a little high, but they are the closest food stores for an hour away.

Great place to pick up food (and hardware). A bit pricey on some things but then again most places are. Most of the people are super nice and polite. A small amount are just "okay". No one is rude.

Great people. This is a remote store and is part grocery and part general store. The have a little of everything. The deli is impressive...fried chicken is excellent, Reuben sandwich is incredible. I admire the store owners for being so ingenious and creative and persistent. This desert is not an easy place to live and this store is pretty impressive for making it out here.

We're so happy to have this grocery market available in our little town! It's generally very well stocked with a large and diverse variety of items, and their vegetables are usually fresh and of good quality.

Really helpful and friendly staff.limited choices and higher prices than you might be used to but, they have to pay for getting everything out here and balance their space. Great produce selection for a remote location. They can get most thing's you need within a couple days.

It's an Ace Hardware in a grocery store...what can I say? One can say it's better than nothing and most times that's about all the good you can say. Very limited on inventory. If it's not in the store you can almost never get it online. And that goes for Ace Hardware in general not just this one. I have tried to get items online shipped to home and/or a Phoenix store but the item doesn't ship. Then, why have it on your site? Most of the time you can't find anyone to help you because there is only one worker and they are always busy with something else or your can't find them. And too often the register closes early. Why? If the store closes at 6PM why can I not checkout anything at 530PM?What time does the Ace Hardware close? Is it what the website says or what the store has on the door, or whenever they want to close it? Who really knows.

It's been going down hill for awhile. It's great for a small town that doesn't have but 1 grocery store. Just have to check the dates on the items I have got home several time with items that are past the best date by. I will say they have great prices on most of the meat products. Most the staff members are super friendly and will assist you with anything.

😱 omgosh I just returned to the US from a trip to Baja with friends. I needed Passover foods - matzo, lamb etc - for keeping Passover at a nearby campground and to my amazement, they had everything! Well, except Manachevitz macaroons! Thanks y'all!

Great community grocery store... They definitely care about everything they do, and manage to carry a diverse and ample selection of goods and produce, very impressive for a small town. The manager sets the tone for the inclusive environment and has excelled at managing the difficulty of supply chains and disrespectful customers during covid.

Fairly decent sized grocery store with pretty much everything you might need. Prices were a bit high and selection was sometimes a bit sparse, but this is pretty much the only place in town to buy groceries. Checkout line was fairly short. Plenty of parking out front.

Deli's inconsistent, sometimes great other times not so much. I can go twice a week to get chicken and it tastes different each time. I try to avoid getting meat and veggies here, the price just doesn't match the quality, or lack there of. Watery ground beef, slimy chicken, old bruised produce. As for prices, keep in mind it's a small local grocery store that doesn't do the volume of a fry's or Walmart so prices will always be naturally higher, competition or not they just can't buy the bulk needed to keep costs down like a large chain can. However I still find some very good deals through the weekly ad. Store is always clean and we'll organized. The staff and management has always been super friendly and helpful.

Steep prices but being the only gig in town I get it. Glad to be able to get at least some food. The water machine outside isnt $1 for 5 gallons unless i missed something, it .25 cents per gallon.

Very nice store with good variety.UPDATE: We have been shopping here since our arrival to volunteer with the National Parks Service (mid Nov. 2018 to mid Mar 2019) and this store has always been a pleasant experience! Great meat, better than we use to buy at the market back home. We will miss this market, and Ajo. Thank you Olsen's Market, and of course all who work there.

We went specifically to buy the "famous" Olson's pork sausages and when I asked the cashier she had no idea of what I was talking about. We quickly walked around, went to the meat counter where the "Olson's Sausage" sign was at and rang the "help bell".... after a few minutes of waiting we left because I really needed to use the restroom before shopping but since there was no public restrooms we ended up leaving and not buying anything. We drove two hours one way just to get an "I don't know answer"!!! What a waste if time!!! Now to drive back home another two hours!! Never going there again!!!

You can find everything you need here, all items are so over priced, at least double the price but when you need something they have it. Their deli food is amazing, pretty decent and cheap. The employees are very nice, the manager seems kind of rude and not friendly, but overall its an ok store in the middle of nowhere. Definitely needs to be remodeled.

My fiancé and I live here. It is the only grocery store in town. Nearly every single item is double the cost. 8lb bag of dog food is nearly $13, but down the road at either dollar genera or family dollar it’s the same price for a 16.5lb bag (almost $13). Barefoot wine (one of the cheapest wines) is almost $9. Stella rosas are $16-$17. SUGAR COOKIES, anywhere else it’s $2.50, but here it’s $5.50.Those are just a few examples that truly shocked me.I went in and got a dog toy, sugar cookies, garlic, a jalapeño, and 2 bags of chips. My total was pennies shy of $50.We no longer shop here. We will make the drive to Buckeyes Walmart and stock up there because even with gas used we still save a ton of money. They’re taking advantage of the fact they’re the only grocery store in town and doubling prices for everything

Great place to stop on your road trip to Rocky Point! I like to stop here for lunch... The deli makes custom order sandwiches and has marble rye bread. Just ask for the paper order form. Delicious!

Every one is so nice, every one says hello then ask you if you need help. Try the Breakfast Sandwich. Bacon, Sausage, Hash Brown, Egg, and Cheese on a fresh soft Bun. Heavenly.
