This was one of our favorite stops along our weekly long, 1300 mile road trip around central Alaska. This family owned and operated establishment has an excellent selection of local seafood, including vacuum sealed and frozen items. We picked out what we wanted and Fee's packaged it in a cooler then prepped it to travel as checked baggage for our flight home. Fee's also offer processing services for those that catch it themselves. Don't miss this spot!

I can't recommend Fee's enough!! They were incredibly kind, friendly, and super accommodating for us. They offered helpful recommendations on how to get our fish home, we were able to purchase some of their fresh catch, and they told us how/where to store or fish until we were ready. We had just shy of 50 pounds that they processed, froze, and packaged for us (as well as sharing their stories and friendship!) Everyone working there was a true joy for us to meet and talk with, and they really made our Alaskan trip a memorable one.

Came in off a charter and asked if I could get the fish to go and they had 60 lbs of fish processed, skinned and vac sealed and into my cooler with ice in about 30 minutes. Very impressed! Good customer service and friendly people too.

Fee's was phenomenal. We were in Whittier for two days, and they made sure our 116lbs of fish were ready by our departure in the morning. The fillets looked spotlessly clean and were packaged well. They were quick and efficient packing our coolers and getting us out. Highly recommend these guys for fish processing, we were so impressed by their customer service, quality and speed.

Ed and Sandy just celebrated 20 years in business. I've been offering fishing charters for 30+ years out of Whittier. Before Ed and Sandy came along, complaints about processing fish weren't common, but happened. For 20 years, 100's of our clients have used Fees Custom Seafoods and not one complaint in all that time. That says it all! Great job Ed, Sandy and crew!!!

It was crowded... good sign! I like the food. It was good. Customer service is great. Some people may not like the environment/ambiance, but taking into consideration the size of the area where they are located and the general surrounding environment, I think it's great.

Owners and staff very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. A friend and I came up on vacation to go fishing and needed to get several pounds processed after a charter and shore fishing. One night they were in the process of closing up when we arrived and they opened right up for us to help us out. Anytime I need fish or other seafood processed I will be coming back to Fee's Custom Seafoods. Cannot say enough good stuff about them.

We visited Whittier Harbour and Fees Custom Seafoods on Thursday, the 11th of August 2022 and had the ultimate customer experience. We needed Alaskan King Crab Legs and advise how to prepare and open it and they offered us everything we needed including a steamer, a sharp knife and garlic and all necessary information. So prepared our King Grab and Steak Dinner was the highlight of all our RV-Cooking and made our evening and added to our Alaska Experience. Thank you to the team and we will be back!

This place is amazing. I went to Whittier for the first time since moving up here over the weekend. I stopped into some of the local shops just to check it out. I was greeted by Max, and soon after by Sandy and Ed. Both are very friendly and out going people. They are proud Alaskans thru and thru. I honestly went in to just to see what they had to offer, and ended up hanging out, chatting, and watching Ed process a beautiful piece of Salmon. When I eventually get a chance to go out on a charter, I will definitely be bringing my catch to these fine folk!

MY HONEST REVIEW:I am a charter operator in Whittier, Alaska.First I want to let you know that I have been using them for over 11 years. I do not receive any “kickbacks” by sending people there so this is a 100% unsolicited honest review.Fee’s takes the time to do it right. I have been in almost every processor in the Municipality of Anchorage and Kenai Borough and they are hands down the best. I have seen a lot of processors keep the fish out of cold storage longer than regulations allow. I have seen processors cross-contaminate fish. Ed, Sandy and Rebecca temp our fish coming into the shop and adhere to the 20 minute time regulation set by the State of Alaska and NEVER cross contaminate the fish. They are a class act.Professional processing will last you over 2 years, where a typical Food Saver will keep your fish for approximately 3 months.I understand that people sometimes balk at the price of processing, but please TRUST ME, it is worth every penny you spend on it. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.Now is not the time to pinch pennies. You come in with thousands of dollars worth of fish off of your Alaska Fishing Charter, don’t you think you want to keep it as fresh as the day you caught it?Fee's Custom Seafoods will make sure it stays that way!

We always take our fish to Fee’s. They are the friendliest owners and they do an amazing job processing our fish. The vacuum packaging lasts a long time. They also do a courier service to Anchorage if you aren’t able to come back to Whittier. They can also ship fish if you live out of state or in another town.

I hate to be the one that doesn't give 5 stars but 4 may be too much too. First charter fishing for me and my new husband (it was our honeymoon), first trip to Alaska too. Went to Fees because it was recommended and without knowing how to do it any other way. It definitely is convenient, the lady is nice, however, the process was not such a good one. We were told that we would get an email with the tracking number when the fish shipped so we knew when to go to the airport to get it, that didn't happen. I sent an email to Fee's asking about it, they did not respond. The hubby called the next day, it had shipped and arrived that day (we got lucky). We get the box home, no holes in the box (so far so good), the styrofoam box did have slight damage (hmmm, curious that the styrofoam has damage but not the outside box), the thermal type bag had a bit of damage. We were charged for new packaging so why does it seem that it may not have been new? So we start unpacking the fish. One package was not even vacuum sealed and 2 packages had holes in the plastic packaging. One reason to pay for processing is to ensure your fish will be preserved, every last package. We will be cooking those 3 packages first. Fees is convenient but just make sure you know when they will ship your order and if you dont get an email (they also dont charge your card until they ship, in our case they didnt charge our card until my husband called and was told the fish had arrived via Alaska airlines cargo that day). When you get your fish, unpack them immediately and inspect each package.

These guys were amazing! Got our fish preped and even worked it out to meet them in Anchorage to pick it up! Fish was processed, frozen and boxed ready for flight. Very professionally done! Highly recommended!

Went on a halibut charter in Whittier and used Fee's to process and ship the fish back to me in Ohio. The fish arrived frozen, vacuum packed in the size requested and the cheeks, trim and other species of fish were all labeled. A little pricey compared to other shops in Anchorage, but they did a great job! Thank you!

Mr. Fee is one of the last crafters that turns junk into artistic treasures. A must see. I didn't have much time to browse but Mr. Lee and compatriot were friendly and inviting. Next time I pass through, I'll spend more time with these fellas.
