We showed up in town the day before the RV Park officially opened for the season. John was very friendly and accommodating and let us park up a day early.The RV Park is well maintained and the washroom/shower area was spotless. It is situated in the perfect location for exploring Valdez and close to restaurants and the marina.I highly recommend a stay at the Valdez RV Park. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day.

Great RV park within walking distance to Valdez. The views are amazing and the price was reasonable. The bathrooms are plentiful and super clean! They provided complimentary coffee in the office, which was super nice. I liked that there were covered picnic tables in the common space, which is helpful if it's raining. There was a vending machine, laundry facilities, and they even had some board games! Next time I'm in Valdez I will definitely stay here again!!

We've stayed twice now at Valdez RV Park and have been so pleased with the convenience and cleanliness. We camp in a truck canopy conversion camper, so we are in the tent sites. It's a basic rv/camping spot, but gorgeous views and fabulous bathrooms/showers and laundry facilities. Everything works! The family who runs the place are incredibly hard working and dedicated to guests enjoyment and satisfaction. The ease of being able to walk everywhere in Valdez is huge after being on the road. I will always stay here on future trips.

John helped us park our camper and set up our kiosk tent cover. He helped with some small repairs and made sure we had a full propane tank. The showers are immaculate. Nice laundry area too, reasonable fees. We will definitely come here again. We could walk to everything, harbor, shops , church and groceries. Gorgeous view!Nearby activities: Walking distance to everything.

Check in was flawless, they even discounted our rate since we didn't need much for the site we had.This park has new owners and they appear to bend over backwards to be kind and helpful.The bathrooms were always clean, plenty of hot water and not metered! There is also laundry on site which is a huge plus!They even suggested how to get discount tickets for one of the boat trips.When we needed to clean out our jeep and asked about a vacuum, they sent the kids to get the shop vacuum.We had great views of the mountains, easy walk to town.I'd certainly come back here...Nearby activities: The boat harbor is 2 blocks.Safety: Owners were always available and visible.Walkability: Very close to town, within walking distance of restaurants and tours.

As far as RV Parks go in the North, this is pretty good. Easy walking access to town and to the harbour. This park is a flat gravel lot with power, water, and septic. The WiFi is a bit spotty but it works. Showers were clean and I never had to wait. The only disappointing thing was the neighboring RV's arriving well after midnight then one idling their truck for 10 minutes while they disconnected their trailer.

We traveled Alaska with an RV and this was by far the best RV Campsite we stayed in! They were super welcoming and accommodating, the showers are extremely clean (actually this was the only camp I dared to use the showers) and they are just a few steps of the center of the town. We stayed for two months this summer, and what a lovely RV park! Owned by a very nice family, it’s within walking distance of everything in town, and the views are amazing. The park has really nice bathroom/shower facilities - they’re clean and each shower is large and in its own bathroom. We are now at an RV park in another town, and I realized that Valdez RV Park showers ruined me for other facilities, no matter how nice. 😂It must also be said that Valdez is a beautiful town.

Great stay at the Valdez RV Park - so close to town, just park your RV and explore Valdez on foot. Everything is in walking distance! Great hosts, really friendly and forthcoming, probably the best campground in our holiday so far! Highly recommend it.Walkability: Not even 5 minutes to downtown and the HarbourFood & drinks: Lots of Food and drinks options nearby

We stayed about a month ago. They offer a dog walking service that was perfect for us while we were on our fishing charter. Claire did an awesome job. We even had a report of when he was walked, how long and notes on how he was. Walking distance to docks, breweries and restaurants.Super clean and well taken care of campground. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for 2 days at the beginning of May, and even with all the snow around we had a lovely time. The owners are very kind and hospitable and were able to help us with anything we needed, even dropping postcards off at the post office for us that we bought in their gift shop. The park is in a great spot with fantastic views and is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and Safeway. There were nice clean bathrooms with showers available as well as a laundry room and picnic tables. This was our first time camping in an RV and if we ever come back to Valdez with one we will definitely be staying here!

Very nice RV campground just one minute away from downtown. The showers and restrooms are very clean and they are free. Staff is cleaning them all the time.Laundry area is very clean. There is a porch with some picnic tables and plugs if you need to connect your computer. Wifi is good.As mentioned before, it is very clean. Staff is 24h cleaning the place and willing to help with any issue you have.I extended my stay one more night because the vibes in Valdez were very good besides this campground was very welcoming.

Excellent the new owners are great and this is the best spot to camp. They've got everything from hot showers to a giant fire pit, as well as coined laundry. The views are great and I love that it's downtown so you are in walking distance to everything. Also dog friendly which is a must. Def check them out. 10/10 recommend.

New owners renamed this Valdez RV Park (same location as the former Bayside RV Park). It is a very clean park with good laundry facilities, showers and sewer, water and electric hookups. The park is an easy walking distance to the restaurants, glacier cruise tours and museums in Valdez. There is a covered patio where we were able to have a dinner gathering of our group. The staff at the park were extremely helpful and gave us lots of information about things to see and do in Valdez.

We stayed one week in our fifth wheel in a premium (duck flats edge) site. It rained all but one day during our stay & some sites accumulated water. Campground offered pallets for those sites so patrons did not step into water. The best aspects of this park are the nice staff, good views, walking distance to town attractions, nice laundry, strong WiFi, & cable tv. Just be aware that you will be camping in a gravel parking lot & your neighbors on three sides will be very, very close.

New owners are great. We have a truck camper , self contained so we got a tent site for $30. Eagles come into the bay every afternoon. Great showers and laundry. Easy walking or biking around town. We highly recommend this place.

What a beautiful park with views of the mountains and the harbor. Clean from the rv sites to the bathrooms and laundry. Friendly staff will do anything they can to make your stay awesome. John and his family are the new owners and have done a wonderful job of making this park feel like you want to be here highly recommend this park if your coming to Valdez sites are all gravel but roomy good water and 50 or 30 amp electric

Best place to stay with a RV or tent in Valdez. The owners are superfriendly and try to do everything to make your stay comfortable. They have 4 large, superclean bathrooms with hot, unlimited showers. They are also providing laundry facilities and fantastic views at the surrounding mountains. We would definitely stay here again. We are a spanish couple traveling with the RV and I totally recommend to stay at this place!! It was our honeymoon and we stopped here for a night and It was a very special place to be! The family that owns the place are super lovely, all the time making sure that you are ok, so helpful to give you advice about what to do in Valdez and also around Alaska:) Really nice and kind people. The whole place was very clean, they have free popcorn, Laundry, restrooms...honestly everything you need!!! Thank you so much :)
