3 of us booked in 2022 for a 2024 fly in caribou hunt and all paid 50% deposits. In Nov. 2023 got a call from Zack saying he could no longer offer the hunt for that price and had to increase $1000 per person due to “increased fuel prices and airplane parts.” lol yeah right we cancelled and got our deposits back thankfully. Shady and untrustworthy IMO. He should rebrand to Joke Air Service

We booked a four person unguided caribou hunt in 2022 for the 2024 caribou season with ToK Air. We all paid our 50% deposits. They just called us and said they are increasing the rate by $1,000 per person which makes them one of the most expensive transports out there. Unfortunately the group had to give up our spots and now we have to rebook with another outfitter for 2025 or 2026. Be carful with Tok Air they will lock you in and then increase prices. Also check other transports they are cheaper.

Zack took my husband & I on a Air Flight Tour of the mountains & valleys of Tok Alaska. It was more than what we expected..I was very nervous about flying but Zack made me feel comfortable. The trip was so smooth. He continued to talk to us about Tok and showed us many Dall Sheep on the mountains and Moose in the Valley. It was so beautiful to see Alaska from the Air. We highly recommend Zack to be your Tok Air Guide. Thanks Zack...from Dennis & Fran in Sunny Florida!!

I've flown with Tok Air Service quite a few times. Zack is a capable pilot for mountain flying and remote landings, every flight has felt very safe. Some bush pilots have ego's that fill up the plane, flying with Zack is refreshing and genuine. You can tell he loves what he does. You won't be sorry flying Tok Air Service.

Zack is a stand up guy and will do his best to provide you with what you ask. He cares deeply about what he does and the land/resources he takes people. He’s more than happy to provide you answers to your questions when he has time(dang guys always flying!)Since he’s flying around the Tok area so much he knows where tons of hidden little strips are, monster moose, etc. He’s a hell of a pilot and I’ve only doubted him once, but he teased me and reassured me all at the same time and low and behold, I had nothing to worry about. He’s a funny guy to boot.You can’t go wrong going with Zack, and I would personally recommend him over any air service in the Tok area as I’ve flown with them all. Zack makes you feel like a person, a customer, and someone he wants to see succeed, not a paycheck, or just another annoying antsy hunter.
