The room was great, nothing to complain about service wise, and the physical location was reasonably nice.Despite the no smoking signs all over the place, the seemingly long-term tenants in the rooms below mine were smoking up a storm on the walkways heading up to my room. No way to avoid them. I got an extra side of despair when I saw their toddler walking around amidst their clouds of smoke.Rooms were great, tenants were trashy. I suggest to the owners that they remove said tenants from the rooms below room 10. They are bringing down this motel's reviews and the property's value. If they have a stake in the motel or its success, then they need to walk to the far side of the parking area to smoke. Also might consider picking up all of their stuff that is strewn about the areas which customers must walk through.

Stay here for one night and everything was perfect. Nice clean room, hot water, warm and soft bed. Decent room price and the room not small. Have a laundry mat for your dirty clothes and they open all year round. Good staff and good service. Good atmosphere. But in the winter time is very cold like -45 degree. But we still have a good time over there. Thank you.

The only 24 hour a day motel in Tok. I got a room at 6am and was able to check out the following day with a late check out at no extra charge. The room was clean, the bed was soft and the water was hot. It was cold in the room and took hours to warm up. The TV is super small and I felt like I stepped back in time because the room decor and linens were like early 80's style.

This place isn't that great. I stayed for over a week and housekeeping checked on us zero times, meaning I had to ask for clean towels, trash bags and toilet paper. From what I can tell, there is no way to control the temp in the room as messing with the thermostat accomplished nothing. The outlets in the main room are very loose and everything you plug is falls out. My family is coming in for a week in March and I will not recommend this place!

One of our beds was really uncomfortable. We could hear the people directly above us every time they walked. The bathroom had a ceiling of just drywall. Carpeting was dirty. I made the mistake of walking on the carpet without shoes and immediately regretted it. There were plenty of towels and that was nice. They even offered towels for your car.

I ended up in Tok far longer than expected as I hit black ice on a bounce back from the Canadian Border, tearing a rear lateral link as I found air and my studded tires did their job when I found the road again. They didn't have immediate vacancy, but had a room opening up in a few hours, so I waited. The room was larger than I anticipated, especially for the price, and the water pressure was phenomenal! They're also located beside a grocery store--incredibly convenient, more so with the temperatures where they are--and a mere fifteen minute walk from where my car was being repaired! They were kind and patient everytime I had to extend, and even offered me their weekly rate when I informed them of my situation as it would have been more cost-effective for me--a rarity among businesses. A true gem in Tok!

Nice place for drivers to stop and take a shower. Just one downfall, there is no sink or toilet in the shower facility also it would be great if they had a fan to move the air around but other than that very nice very clean. And only $7.00

Where do I begin?! The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, even the plumbing from other rooms. There is no after hours staff, so when guests in rooms above us were fighting/partying through the night, there was nothing we could do about it. We stayed here for 2 weeks because our RV broke down on our move out of Alaska. We paid for a week in advance! Then on the last night we were there, we asked if we could top off our RV with fresh water, being about 15-20 gallons or so. They turned us down! The manager said it would put "too much of a strain on them". A guest would use up more water taking a shower! Unbelievable!

Worst service I have had in my life! After 4 days on the road with rain through Canada, I came in to take a shower and take a breather while doing laundry. I couldn't find anyone to pay for a shower so I just walked into a stall and shut the door. I had no intention at all of not paying for it, I was just cold and couldn't find anyone. I was about to get in the shower when a lady started slamming on the door and literally yelling for me to pay first and that it wasn't open! I have never been treated so badly as a hotel guest somewhere in my life! I got dressed again and came out only to be yelled at again! I will not ever come here again!

Nothing bad about this place. Nothing spectacular either. They do allow pets, which is nice. The rooms were a bit dated. The wooden walkway outside the rooms creates quite a ruckass when people walk by. There are plugs outside to plug in your vehicle for winter months. Staff is friendly and accomodating.

Very simple rooms but have all the amenities you need. The rom was clean and neat. The motel is located right next door to a great grocery store, the Three Bears. If you are looking for a good way to start the day, Fast Eddys restaurant is the best plCe in the North for excellant food at a great place. It is about a quarter mile to the East of the Motel.

Clean rooms but no shampoo for some reason. Right next door to the grocery store. Really nice laundry mat. If you plan on watching TV there is only about 5 channels

Room was clean, well maintained, and quiet. Bed was comfortable. It has a semiprivate layout (one bed in bedroom, the other in living room, separated/connected by the bathroom and kitchenette area).

Very convenient location at the entrance to Tok. Comfortable motel and reasonably priced. Motel has a laundry facility if required. Located next to a gas station with a well-stocked convenience store.

Surprisingly surprised with the place. Place was clean and cozy. Plenty of self laundry units to use. It's right next to their grocery store. No kitchen but no problem!

The Snowshoe Motel is conveniently located in the center of Tok, Ak, a community of about 1,000 people. There is a laundromat (4 dollars for a large washer load, and 2 dollars for four minutes in the dryer), and showers. They allow dogs in the rooms.

Relatively inexpensive, but room was pretty hot and no AC (there was a thermostat on the wall but it didn't do anything). Don't want to know what it would be like when it's actually a hot day outside.

While the price was decent the wifi was terrible. Also the water went from extremely hot to cold several times while showering. I mean hot enough to burn if you aren't careful.

It was a MESS! After taking my $$$ for a room, she assured me "the girl" said it was almost made up ( at midnight). After an hour and a half, it was not made up. I got a refund. Maybe they rent rooms by the hour there?
