Late Post Aug 23'Blue Moose Alaskan Gifts is a souvenir shop located in downtown Talkeetna, AK conveniently located across Denali Brew Pub. Have a brewski there and go shopping here! Honestly, it’s a tiny looking spot but offers tons of interesting things! Most locally sourced such as; coffee, all kinds of chocolate bars, variety of licorice, jewelry, books, mugs, pastries, cookies and so much more! I really liked the children and animal section. I got a book for my niece because she loves reading and learning. The book titled Molly in Denali talks about her culture, the animals, and the northern lights! As for the animal section, you can get a leash, snacks and collar! Come check them out, I’m sure you will find something here!

Love this shop! It has everything you need, some you don't (or you might) and some you never thought you needed but definitely get. Such a nice lady. On the day we saw Denali in all her beauty, we walked into this shop and there it was, the T-shirt that commemorates that I am now part of the 30% club! I ended up with a basket full of goodies from this little shop. Definitely stop and take a peek

My son accidently knocked a $25 moose figure of a shelf with his backpack and broke it. We have a broken $25 memory of Talkeetna. I gave a bonus star for teaching my 2 kids multiple lessons with this experience.

We tried to walk in and pay for an item from an outside rack and were turned away ten minutes before posted closing time. The lady was super rude. I even had my cash out… ‘Please take my money!’….oh well, we tried. Lots of other super cute shops in Talkeetna to support.

A nice place to get gifts we decent prices. We came out of the store with more than we had intended to buy. We especially like the cheap jewelry section from this store as well as the gift selections from the connecting store behind it. A little better than your average gift shop.

Went there with my kids, the lady (I wish I had gotten her name) with the adorable Yorkie was beyond patient and kind with my daughter, taking the time to no only answer her questions about the different items for sale but also helping her decide what she should start collecting on her trips. She and this shop are a gem.

Great little art/gift shop on the Talkeetna strip. Friendly staff and beautiful art throughout this shop. They drop ship any items bought as well!

Enjoyed shopping in this store during our time in Talkeetna. Shopped there twice and then ordered an item after returning home. Great service, beautiful unique gifts. Hope to visit them again someday!

I walked in with a friend to the store and had just started browsing when the shopkeeper had the following conversation with two locals:'i hate how people are trying to turn Alaska into Texas'' yeah that blue strip from Austin to San Antonio... It makes me sick'After I left, feeling sick and upset, my friend heard the shopkeeper add: 'i hate people from the east coast'Just so you know, if you buy your knicknacks here, you're supporting an establishment that is run by hateful people
