I went to this Bistro at 7pm on a Tuesday. They offer six different main courses. Quite a few starters and some other in-between meals. Unfortunately they were out of claims, then halibut, then the steak. I finished my beer then went to find something to eat. The waitstaff were nice enough, felt sorry for the young waitress, having to deal with an unsupplied kitchen.

We absolutely love the food here! Highly recommend the Seafood Rice Bowl! Family friendly restaurant with kid menu options. Service was excellent, very friendly and fast service! Really enjoyed our experience

Excellent little place with fantastic food and great service. We had the seafood gumbo and it was amazing. It had chicken, shrimp and reindeer sausage. The shrimp was perfectly cooked which is nearly impossible in gumbo. Highly recommend especially since they are right across the street from the tour bus drop off.

It was a great place to stop for a comfortable sit down lunch. The menu wasn't huge, but it was diverse, and everything was tasty and high quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant was bright and airy even on the overcast day we went. It was a nice change from the rustic/lodge aesthetic that many places around here are. Finally, the people working there were some of the nicest people we'd met on our trip. The customer area is nice for interacting with other people dining. Overall, a great surprise that we had no regrets on picking.

Worst food we had so far in AK. Food is bland and way overpriced. The portion is small. It seems they are trying to be fancy but didn't quite make it, I don't mind paying if food is good and worthy. The waitress didn't know the menu whatsoever. Every question asked on the menu would have to wait for the owner or the kitchen to answer. Overall experience was not impressed. Your money is better spent somewhere else.

Underwhelmed and overpriced. Service was subpar. Wait staff didn't know the menu or bar menu. The clam chowder was mostly thin liquid with few clams and veggies (just enough solids to fill the soup spoon). The rack of lamb was cooked to temp but wasn't frenched. Wife's salmon was overcooked. Mom's cod (the special) was good, but cost 25% more than the salmon (first time I ever experienced such expensive Pacific Cod). All in all, a two star dining experience with a four star price tag.

My father and I went in on 7/3/23. We went in bc they advertised oysters. We were greeted by the nicest possible person right away and she was so helpful and was able to point us in the direction for beer we were looking for. It was a slower night there, being a Monday so not surprising. As we drank a couple beers and I ate oysters she was so friendly and we talked about our time in alaska. She needs a raise! This girl is wonderful and I'd come back just to see her! But also, the beer was great, oysters were awesome, I saw what I assumed to be the owner saying she was shocking clams, and when I see an owner jumping in like that, you know it's a good spot. It's not on the main strip, but I highly recommend this place. Great people, great food and beer.Thank you !

Very over priced and bland. Seafood Mac n cheese had 4 shrimp 2 scallops and a piece of fish with a lot of pasta. Price on menu posted outside was different than inside. Poke appetizer was good though.

We tried the coconut shrimp, which was perfect. We also ordered the pulled pork which was decent, not great but solid. Fish tacos were very tasty and well prepared. We also got the burger which was above average. Service was very good, and outside dining was a plus. The inside was very well decorated and very nice. Food overall was a 4, but with service and ambience bumped up to a 5.

They let us “start a tab” when the power went out and we couldn’t pay for anything, assuring us the power would be back by the time our Sled Dog tour was over. It was! And we enjoyed a second round of beers, the fantastic and spicy crab cakes, nachos which were a favorite of the kids because it was just chips and melted shredded cheese with the pico, guac, and sour cream left off to the side, and chowder. They were so kind. And we loved spending time there as our home base before and after the tour even when in a constrained situation.

Fish tacos were great. Could have used a bit more filling. Fish and chips also good. The burger was a bit thick for my own personal liking and a bit too undercooked but great flavor. The above was $60 with tip and only 1 soda. Food in Alaska is expensive so be prepared.

Great food. It's just off of main street, but still downtown. So you have better service than one of the crowed restaurants on main street. The food was fresh and delicious. A great selection. I ordered crab cakes, yum! Then I ordered the seafood mac n cheese. I had left overs. It's expensive because it's Alaska, but the value was spot on. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting.

The food was amazing and service was superb! Salmon burger was super tender and juicy. Crab cakes were excellent. We loved the desserts.

Stopped today, June 22, and enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. No bugs, good service, good beer and the pulled pork sandwich was very tasty. I didn’t think the prices were too bad for Talkeetna. We liked that it was on the edge of town so not as many of the cruise ship tourists were there and it has parking.
