This flight was the highlight of our Alaska vacation. We went in early August, and I recommend to go no earlier than 11 am, as the 830 flights were cancelled due to fog. Give the sun a little time to burn off the morning mist. Flying through the peaks of Denali and then landing on a glacier was an unforgettable experience. 100% do this for a unique perspective of Denali National Park!

Had an amazing experience and great service starting from shuttle driver to Pilot. We had the glacier landing and it was totally worth it. Our Pilot Shawn was very friendly, knowledgeable and took good care of everybody. We were able to take a look at Denali up close. Breath taking views. Snow boots and sunglasses were provided for free in case you forgot. Our shuttle driver Greg was very knowledgeable and answered our questions very patiently.

My husband and I booked this experience as part of our honeymoon. I can't adequately describe this experience because words like amazing or breathtaking don't do it justice. If you decide to try a flightseeing tour, be sure to choose the one with the glacier landing. It is important to note that if conditions aren't right, your pilot will not land, and you will be refunded the difference. We were lucky enough to land, and it was indescribable! I had a good chuckle after sharing the pics we took because photos will never capture the reality of the moment. Our pilot, I believe his name was Ryan, was knowledgeable about the area and took great pride in his plane. It was about an hour and a half all told, with 15-20 minutes on the glacier. Well worth every penny.

Ian is a great pilot and guide! He is very knowledgeable about Denali, the glaciers and the area. We had an amazing experience landing on Ruth Glacier! We appreciated Ian taking photos of us on the glacier. I could have stayed up on the glacier longer and flown around Denali for hours! The true bonus & gift from God was a bright sunny and blue sky day! The mountain is magnificent & majestic! We are so fortunate to have seen Denali from both the ground and air. My prayers were answered! K2 is very professional and well run. Thank you!

The most incredible thing I’ve ever done! Jack, our pilot was funny and very knowledgeable about Denali National Park. The flight was very smooth and you felt like you could reach out and touch the beautiful mountains and walking on Ruth Glacier is an unbelievable experience. Thanks K2 and Jack for a wonderful trip!

We had such an amazing experience! We did the summit tour, which the weather happened to be perfect the same day we scheduled. Our pilot, Jack, was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. I think he was just as excited to go up as we were. Which just made the whole experience better. I would highly recommend using them.

Incredible experience! Booking a tour with them was super easy and very transparent when it came to any changes. We couldn't do the Summit Tour due to weather but we were able to do the Denali Flyer. It was fantastic! Our pilot Riley was knowledgeable about the area and enthusiastic about flying. Highly recommend giving them a visit if you're looking for a flyover in Alaska.

We got so lucky today, the weather cleared up with beautiful sunshine. My husband and I had a last minute trip and we were able to take the trip to Denali without glacier landing due to winter season. We called and left a message they called back and made arrangements. Check in was easy. Our Pilot is awesome, knowledgeable about the areas. One of my bucket lists is checked. Definitely recommend K2.

This was a once in a lifetime experience. Pro tip- do NOT skip the glacier landing. It was the best part. Dorothy was our pilot and she was incredible. We did the Grand Tour. I would have probably done the next step down with the glacier landing.

Highlight of our entire Alaska trip! This was beyond amazing and our pilot Ian made it even better by sharing so much information. K2's entire operation made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. Their customer service is outstanding. My only regret is I wish it were longer because there's so much to take in. Highly recommend K2.

Honestly the best thing I have done in Alaska. It was a great flight. I saw and learned so much. Our pilot was super chill and knowledgeable. He was able to answer every questions that we had. The flight was super smooth. We got to spend a lot of time on the glacier. He taught us so much interesting info without talking our ears off. Philip was a great pilot and a great guide. The town was super cute and the whole crew was great. Even though I just did this, I would be down to do it again. I get motion sickness and I’m afraid of flying… neither were a problem. If I return to Alaska, I will definitely do this again. Standing on a glacier was such an incredible experience and it was the best views that I have seen!

With 37 years as an Airline Pilot I've seen plenty, but landing on a glacier was indeed a highlight. Our pilot Jack was professional yet fun. His narratives were superb. I knew we were in great hands and I could tell he absolutely loved what he was doing. The Glacier flight is a must and definitely worth every dollar.

This was my 2nd time flying with them. The first time was amazing, we flew with them last October. I came back with my father after finishing work here, and had to take him. It did not disappoint at all. Once again it was absolutely amazing, the staff, the pilot were so great. Our pilot Pat had so much great info on the flight and the area. So grateful to be able to fly with them. I'll be back every year before I leave this great place.

In a word, WOW! I highly recommend K2 Aviation for a glacier flight seeing tour. Be sure to book a glacier landing, very much worth the extra. Everyone was super friendly, they have the process perfected from making reservations over the phone, to check in, to safety briefing, to the flight. I had Jack as my pilot and he was a lot of fun. You can tell he loves his job and takes pride in doing it well. My landings (both the glacier and the runway) were smoother than most big jet landings. I’m so glad I had the nudge to go on this adventure because it was worth every single penny!! I recommend everyone do this, whether you live in Alaska or are visiting.

K2 was a great experience. Unfortunately it was not a great weather day, but they were proactive in letting us know our options, which included a full refund. We took the flight regardless and it was amazing. The staff from drivers to front desk to our pilot were dedicated to making the experience memorable. And they did. Our pilot was very knowledgeable about the area and the glaciers - he showed us some amazing things despite the cloud cover. Nobody can control the weather, but you can control the experience. If you want an amazing experience - and views you won’t get in the ground, go see K2.

Waiting until people have been in the check-in line for 15 mins is not the time to spring it on people that their flight has been cancelled—that they can either get a refund or go on an alternate flight.Like a deer in headlights, I froze & didn’t know what else to do but go on the alternate glacier flight since we had booked a hotel in Talkeetna for the entire purpose of their Denali flight.And I get things happen, I really do. But at best, they need to up their disclaimers & at worst, they purposefully omit this info in an effort to keep money.We spoke to the pilot who said they’ve been doing the alternate glacier tour a lot this summer. And yet while there are disclaimers about rain, there are none about clouds. I couldn’t even find an instance where their alternate route was mentioned on their website.The additional ⭐️ is a shoutout to the pilot, who did his best and tried to make it a good experience. We had just already seen multiple glaciers up close this trip, so it wasn’t anything new. Hence the husband who fell asleep 😅

There is nothing we would have changed about this experience. From the office staff to the flight staff, there was just the right amount of instruction and safety briefing. The plane was clean and well maintained. The pilot was professional and thorough; the office staff was spectacular. The views were awe inspiring and truly breathtaking. Cannot recommend more highly. We had a great tour led by a knowledgeable pilot who made sure we were safe and comfortable and informed about the tour highlights and details. We went on a clear day and had great views of Denali mountain and nearby glaciers. But the weather can change quickly as 4 hours after our tour it became overcast and rained. The Glacier landing tours were booked solid when we went so if you want to do that, book your trip in advance as much as possible. They fly turboprop DeHavilland Otters which are reasonably quiet. I got lucky and got to sit in the co-pilot seat. Bring gum to help your ears equalize pressure especially for younger children.

This turned out to be one of our favorite experiences in Alaska! We were delayed due to weather but once we got the go ahead to fly, we had the most stunning views of the mountains and of DENALI in all her beauty, peak and all!! Our pilot Ian was fantastic! Phenomenal experience and one you shouldn’t miss if you have the opportunity. We actually took the same trip 30 years ago on our honeymoon… Had the opportunity to come back and do it again and was not disappointed. The views are spectacular and it is truly the best way to see Mt McKinley. Talekeetna is also a really cool town to visit.

We had such a great experience with K2 Aviation. We had initially signed up for the Denali glacier landing tour, but it was cancelled due to bad weather. The staff recommended the Knik Glacier trip, which had availability for later that same afternoon. We were bummed about missing the Denali flight, but figured we'd still do the flight that was available, and we are so glad we did!The 1 hour and 45-minute flight was very enjoyable. Phil was an amazing pilot and guide. We even got to do a landing near the glacier, which was a very pleasant surprise! Highly recommend booking with K2 Aviation.

We flew through the Alaska Mountain Range climbing to the summit of Mount Denali and landed on a Glacier! This was the greatest experience of our lives! Words cannot describe how amazing it felt to be in this place and photographs cannot capture its majesty. Our Captain and Tour Guide Jake was outstanding. He gave us a historical and ecological tour of the mountain range. His skills in piloting the aircraft were superb. Not a single individual on the aircraft felt unsafe and everyone commented on how excellent of a pilot he was. Thanks again Jack, you the man!
