An absolute must if you are in Talkeetna! Great selection of local drinks delicious food! The hot honey chicken sandwich was to die for and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I have ever eaten. Cool vibes and fun decorations too

Out for a drive on a snowy day in March, ended up in cute little town Talkeetna. Cozy lodge style restaurant, with attentive staff. Food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the brisket dip and the Alaska cod sandwich. The ingredients were fresh and hearty. Sweet potato wedges are melt in your mouth delightful paired with the House made ranch and tartar sauce-these upgraded the dish to seriously outstanding.

Whether you are a local or a tourist, everyone is welcomed at this cozy Brewpub. It's located in the heart of the main street, and the outdoor fire is a bonus!Jess runs the bar, and she makes a mean whiskey mule! The staff is friendly, the food is hot, and the beer is cold!

Enjoyed this location far better from the brewery itself. The food, service, ambiance, and not to mention the drinks were excellent! The only reason for 4 stars on service is because the server wouldn't let us sit on our preferred table even though it was available (and the place did not take reservations). Besides that, however, we enjoyed a craft beer, whiskey, cocktail, and some delicious food. The place is in the heart of talkeetna, so the overall neighborhood and scenery is second to none, with a short walk to the glaciers!Parking: We were visiting in off-season (May), so there was plenty of parking on the street when we got there.

Denali Brewpub is a great place to eat and drink. The group I was with tried a variety of different menu items and every one loved their food.I had a burger and sweet potato fries. They were delicious. I highly recommend stopping by for a little bit of local culture along with a great meal.Kid-friendliness: Fun place for adults and kids of all ages.

4 stars is for the atmosphere and staff. The food wasn’t impressive. The veggie burger was good along with the sweet potato fries and fry sauce. The nachos were pretty bare and a big disappointment. It was basically a small plate of chips and salsa for $17.We didn’t try the beer only because we drank a bit much the night before, so water and coffee were the drinks of choice this morning.Our server, Matt, was pretty awesome! Very professional, friendly, and attentive. He’s a keeper. We sat in the beer garden, and the fire pit along with the sunshine, made it s lovely place to hang out for a bit.

My favorite accidental pitstop I made during my entire Alaska road trip.I was coming back from Denali and headed to Anchorage - stopped at the recommendation of a park ranger and it was 100% worth it!!Came in around dinner time on a Wednesday and it was surprisingly full of people. I ordered a sour at the bar (peach apricot deliciousness) and grabbed a seat outside by the fire with a ring of propelled from all over the country. It was amazing. Had a couple drinks just chilling.Instant new friends, all loving the Alaska experience, and enjoying really great craft brews. Next time I’m up here, I’d make a special trip just to come back here!Also picked up the fish and chips to go before getting back to my place for the night. Easily some of the best I’ve had - those sweet potato fries were absolute fire!

Whoever the pit master is that smokes the brisket must have trained in Texas. The brisket had a perfect smoke ring, savory bark, and was very tender. The bun they used for their brisket sandwiches was lightly grilled, with a buttery, sweet flavor. One of the best brisket sandwiches we ever had. The waitress was extremely nice and offered us some samples of local cider and liquor to help us decide what drinks to order. We first thought the Denali Brewpub would be more focused on drinks and less on food. But it's very clear they put just as much love into both. I wish we lived closer to enjoy this place more often. If you visit Talkeetna Alaska, you must stop by this place.

This place was great! My son has severe food allergies to peanuts and tree nuts and they were amazing checking things so he could safely eat. Not only was the service great but we loved the atmosphere and the food was good too.Dietary restrictions: Safe for nut allergies

Stopped by for lunch after doing a tour in Talkeetna. The large outside patio looked great to have an outdoor lunch and enjoy their popular drinks. The patio had about a 15 minute wait, but there was open seating indoors. I wanted to eat on the patio, so opted for the short wait. Our server was slow to come by to take the initial drink and appetizer orders. She also didn't come by often throughout the meal and admittedly forgot to put in one of the orders. She must've been having an off day as the rest of the servers looked to be very friendly and efficient.Ordered their blueberry mojito as it was recommended by several people when heard we were coming to Talkeetna. This was a great recommendation as it had a great blueberry taste that was balanced with the alcohol. Also, ordered two of their draft beers that were equally as good. For the food, ordered the nachos, brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, Caesar salad, and garden bowl salad. Food came out after about 15 minutes. I wasn't as impressed with the food, but I wasn't disappointed as it's a brewpub. The sandwiches tasted ok, but the plating was very bland and didn't look appealing. The salads and nachos tasted ok. The blueberry cheesecake tasted pretty good.Overall, I'd still recommend coming here for the drinks and ambiance. The food was just something to have with the drinks, so my expectations weren't too high. I didn't have the best service, but the rest of the waitstaff appeared to be doing a great job.

Tour busses emptied out at lunchtime, and everyone scrambled towards food in the rain after not eating for more than a few hours (we just got off a cruise). All that to let everyone know they were creative with our party of 9 for seating and were extremely nice and patient. To top it all off, the food was amazing! I had the Twister Creek Burger, and my husband had the brisket sandwich. Both were excellent, but I recommend the burger and sweet potato fries and, of course, a beer. Denali single engine is a red ale and went great with the burger! Portions were great size, so plan ahead if you want to try dessert or just get one to go, which you can also do with the beer. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food, I highly recommend this place. I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but we were so hungry all you would have seen when I remembered was crumbs.

Very good service. Food wasn’t amazing. Nachos could’ve used more toppings considering the price and pickled jalepenos instead of fresh ones. The menu was different that what I was expecting from looking on google previously, so just be prepared. Great beer/drink selection but overall we preferred the main brewery location outside of town. The food here was overpriced and this generally felt like a tourist trap. Go to Denali Brewing (the flagship) instead… loved it there!

Fantastic beer. Best we've had in Alaska. Purchased a Belgium ale to bring home. Be prepared to wait, but it was definitely worth it. Food was really good, beer was exceptionally great! Nice deck seating area and super nice wait staff. Picturesque town to walk through while waiting for your table to be ready.

Great experience here. The staff was really nice and friendly. Georgette was our waitress and was super friendly and quickly greeted us and got our beverages. Their homemade ginger soda was amazing. The veggie burger, sweet potato wedges and the pulled pork sandwich all had great flavor. Thanks guys for a fabulous lunch on a rare sunny afternoon!!

A must visit while you're in or around Talkeetna. Really great food, vibe, and most importantly, drinks.It's likely that you're familiar with Denali Brewing's amazing beer selection, but give their Meads and/or Spirits a try while you're over this way, you won't be disappointed.We also loved their pizzas that were deliciously fresh and tasty, the mushroom is something else. Strong recommendation.

This place is constantly busy, and I can see why! Their food and drinks are both top notch. My wife and I came here several times for dinner and lunch. Each time we had to wait between 30-60 minutes, but they had seating for us. They also allowed us to go the bar while waiting to be seated.Prices are pretty steep, but the food is delicious and the portions are good. Most of the staff were super friendly.

BEST BRISKET EVER! Our family of 6 checked in and was told it was a 30 minute wait. They send a text when a table is ready so you can walk around. Excellent drink menu. Friendly staff.

When in Talkeetna AK, Denali Brewery is the place. This one is in the small Talkeetna downtown. Great food menu and great beers. The main brewery is on the main road to Talkeetna maybe 7 miles south. They have great brick oven pizza and tons of merch to buy. Had the salad with smoked salmon on top. Very good. Cod sandwich was tasty too but too much cheese.

Probably the best meal we've had in Alaska.Food was great , service was not. You obviously don't bring the appetizer out at the same time as the meal. No apologies, no cares, didn't even take some off of the bill. I understand that you are short staffed , but in the end that is not the customer's fault.

Another stop on our road trip from Anchorage to Fairbanks and the arctic circle was here. I had heard some great things about this place and had to see for myself. The place is a medium-sized cabin with a large deck that goes all around, like a rotunda. Located on Main street with other places to shop, eat and drink. A beautiful small town Alaska experience. Service was excellent! Let me also tell you guys that there are several things that Alaska does not play with- scenery, adventures, food and BEER are at the top of that list. We had a real great time here.
