Late post Aug...When we first arrived in Talkeetna, there was slight rain which kept on while walking towards Denali brew pub mehh that’s when the rain got stronger. Thankfully, we were promptly seated in the covered patio. Our server a young gentleman was fast and happy to give us the specials. Since we were still in Alaska of course, I opted for the fish and chips, my partner got pulled pork sando with soup of the day which was chicken curry lentil soup, sister-in-law brisket sando w soup lucily, she got the last of chicken noodle add everything in the kitchen sink and her husband ordered the burger with fries . Overall, the food was absolutely delicious, everything came out quick and hot which I appreciate. I would definitely recommend them if you are in the area!Outdoor seating, dog friendly!

I love Denali Brewing Co, their drinks are by far superior to many other microbreweries. They just know how to put the flavors together. The food is tasty also. My favorite salad is the kale salad, the hearty veg, zest flavor, with the sweet candied nuts are top notch! I’ve had the pizza specials, totally yummy. The soup I ordered to go this last time was good, but very small, like half the cup. But it came with this bomb bread. The drumsticks, I had them once before and loved them but the sauce was not as flavorful this time and didn’t like the warm dressing on it. Next time I know to ask for it on the side, no biggie! Will get them again.

THE BEST gluten free pizza crust I have ever had…. I actually didn’t miss the “real” crust! I don’t know how they do it, but it’s incredible. Fire baked with crispy bubbles, chewy areas, and it held together well. Not soggy, not a cracker, not a flat bread, it’s somehow super close to real dough. At first I actually thought they made a mistake and gave me a regular crust. So good we came back twice in one week. Plus there are so many amazing drink options, including ciders, meads and canned cocktails. It’s one of our favorite places when we come visit!

Overall this brewery is ranked 11th out of all the breweries that I visited in Alaska, that does not mean by any means that it is bad. On the contrary, as far as mixed drinks go, they have the best in the state! The blueberry Mojito stands by itself as a legend!I have become bored with their standard six pack/variety pack because there’s nothing that stands out and it’s pretty boring in my opinion. However, I love going to the brewery because you really can get an idea with their brewing style is and you can see what they are willing to venture out and create. I tried their Matt Porter and was extremely impressed! Hands-down I’d love to see them create more beers like this, and it’s the best beer that they’ve made in my opinion. I tried the dune mountain hazy IPA that was met with pretty much the same as the others, pretty normal nothing special about it.Environment is absolutely fantastic and great for groups! Of course fantastic merchandise another great gifts for purchase here as well!Overall, I definitely like this brewery and highly recommend it!

Stopped over at this location of Denali Brewing on the way to Talkeetna and was completely disappointed with the fact that they did not have a good outdoor seating option. The place looked great with a vast selection of pizza and beer options, but I unfortunately couldn't try any as I didn't want to sit inside or in the parking lot. It was warm and sunny outside, and the other location, with better outdoor setup, was only 15 minutes away, so I decided to skip this one and drive there instead. 😒

Tried 4 beers and they were all distinct and amazing. I'm taking a star off not because of the beer but because of the experience. Not a single price on any of the beer products which made it annoying to be asking how much everything was. As much as I love their beers and that in the end the prices were reasonable, I'm not foolish enough to buy something without asking how much it costs first, which was painful because the staff couldn't tell me without ringing it in. Probably would have bought more but got tired of asking. You have the digital display, pretty easy to make it happen, nevermind adding any kind of printout on the fridges.

Great brewery. Lots of beers including some great IPAs ;-) Delicious brick oven pizza and their charcuterie plate was awesome as well. If you want some good brewery swag, this is the place.

Awesome beer. Have had everything from lager to IPA to saison to stout. They are all great. The food is fantastic and well prepared. One of our favorite places to frequent in Talkeetna. Worth the drive if you're near town!

The best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I’m from England, UK, and we stopped by here on our way from Fairbanks to Anchorage. Best decision ever! I can’t get over how amazing this pizza is!

Good things: nice outdoor seating especially if you get the ones near the fire. Food is good, satisfied with the Pretzel dip burger, the Short Rib dinner (really good curry twist to it), fish & chips, and brownie ala mode. Very clean and spacious bathroom. Bad things: lines can be very long especially during peak hours. One of their drinks (see photo, forgot the name) that contained coffee and vodka... Ugh. Very weird taste, don't do it no matter how curious you are.

Yummy! So glad we were able to stop by and try everything fresh from the tap. We had the meat lovers and a couple of flights which allowed us to try a variety! We will probably be back a few more times before we leave the area. Thank you, Nathan, for the hospitality and great recommendations!

Good pizza, great beer and whiskey. Atmosphere is excellent and laid back! If we come back to Alaska we will be back! The staff was very nice and outgoing and made the experience even more enjoyable!

We stumbled upon the brewery itself when we were driving into town and went back after our flightseeing tour and ended up spending the afternoon. Incredibly friendly staff for encourage you to try everything on tap. Not to mention the pizzas are amazing- we had the mushroom and the meat lovers, both 10/10. Great environment! If we didn’t have to drive we probably would have stayed even longer.

Great beer, great pizza! The Big Dipa is one of my favorite double IPAs; not overly strong or boozy, but full flavored and a bit of a kick to it. Mushroom pizza, meat lovers and caprese salad were great! We've been twice in one week. Pizza crust has a doughy, stretchy inside, but crispy outside that hits the nail on the head.

Josh the bartender was just great and was so good in the tasting arena! We had a blast chatting with him and learning about the brews, eating the delicious oven baked pizzas and drinking flights. We liked it so much we came back the second day for more. Hope to be back someday.

My group of friends got stranded when our rental car blew up a mile up the road from Denali Brewing Company. We thought we were going to be sitting on the side of the road forever, but a quick Google search later, and we were walking. The group of us (5 people) walked the mile(ish) to the brewery and sat at a table outside.The day was absolutely gorgeous. Sunny, warm! Our last full day in Alaska. A huge bummer that we didn't make it to see Denali. We called a taxi and paid $450 to get back to Anchorage without seeing Talkeetna. 😢However, my experience at Denali Brewing Company was one to remember! We may have been there 5+ hours. I bought some great souvenirs! I had a couple of different beers, loved the blueberry! I of course had to get a Bloody Mary, as I do everywhere. It was Ahhh-mazing! The food was delightful too! I recommend reindeer sausage pizza! 😋Next time I get to Alaska, I will be stopping here before finally getting to see Talkeetna, and Denali! 🏔 Thank you!

Pizza was really good. We are accustomed to the best pizza in the world (from Buffalo, NY) and this pizza was good. Elk pepperoni is what we ordered. Great beer too.

Had a great meal and a nice time. Party of 6 accommodated in a large booth during lunch rush and service was friendly and efficient. Nice drink selection and fantastic cod dinner. Someone in our group ordered the sriracha IPA chicken and that was probably my favorite. Nice outdoor seating area, and good food with good service. Highly recommend. Get the blueberry mojito!

This spot is a must stop when in or around Talkeetna! Great spot with a great vibe. Stinks that it doesn’t have a view of McKinley (Denali). I also wish they would’ve had outdoor music going but besides that this place rocked. Great beer selection and very nice staff.

Stopped in during our visit to Talkeetna while visiting family in Wasilla. The beer was great we each had a flight. We really enjoyed the Coffee Porter. We also had create your own pizza and the reindeer pepperoni was awesome. If we lived here we would probably be here too much because it was great.

Every beer I tried was awesome, and the meat lovers pizza was some of the best wood fired pizza I've ever had. Pizza was FAST, too. Took less than 10 minutes to get it.

Pizza was delicious, we had a cremini, shitake and oyster mushroom pizza. Good crust, good flavors. They offer some locally grown honey to top on your crust as a dessert (for those that don't like eating the crust), and it was also delicious. Good place, could have been 5 stars with better beer, Belgian Strong Golden Ale was my favorite from my flight, but I reserve my beer comments to the Untappd app.

We ordered the Margherita pizza and added the cremini mushrooms ($1 extra). The pizza was baked in one of those awesome dome pizza things... So the crust was both crispy AND chewy. The brewery also had local honey to drizzle on top. If you haven't tried honey on pizza, please do. You'll never eat pizza with Ranch dressing again.We also tried the One Tree Birch Beer (as recommended by the birch syrup folks down the road). I ordered the Nitro Brew coffee with CBD. Just because I can.The new brewery location is huge, beautiful, and has really nice gender-safe bathrooms (one toilet per room)... Which is also great for changing babies, nursing mothers, and folks with mobility issues.We ate inside, but there's plenty of outdoor seating as well.
