Brought Sammy to Tarma for a nail trim on the recommendation of friends at the dog park. Walk in appts after 1pm. They got her right in, onto the table and off with her nails. I was able to watch everything bc it’s an open work area, which I think is great. They are very kind and professional. Highly recommend.

After seeing several great reviews for Tarma Grooming, I decided to take my 2 year old Havanese to get groomed. So glad I did. Getting an appointment was easy through Facebook. They only do drop off (8:00-10:00 a.m). I like this, because I think it allows for the groomer to take their time with my dog. The facility is small, but open, welcoming, and clean. The staff listened to what I wanted done, and made sure that they understood exactly what I wanted. The services they offer are things like pet safe hair dye and bling. I decided, in addition to her groom, I wanted to have her long tail dyed in a neon rainbow. The staff told me it would probably take awhile, and they would contact us when she was done, and it would probably be around 5:00 (which was absolutely understandable). When we came to get her, she looked absolutely adorable! I will definitely continue to bring my Havanese to Tarma for sure. The prices are about average of other locations, maybe even slightly lower, but the service, staff and care they took with us, is worth much more. The extra fun rainbow tail service was around $20 over the groom price, and 100% worth every penny! I apologize for the lengthy review, but if you love your animals like me and my family do, you will want to know how well they were treated, and the quality of the services. I absolutely think this is a fantastic group of groomers, who treat your animals as if they were their own. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend. I appreciated their efforts to collaborate on how we wanted our dog groomed. We asked for scent free products and they were willing to accommodate. We are traveling through the area and they were able to fit us in. The receptionist was very polite and helpful.

My buddy Brad was well taken care of. He had his nails trimmed, filed and the fur between pads shaved. Quick service.

No complaints! We got a new cat who ended up with a bunch of mats on her belly. They cleaned her up and shaved her tummy. She was clean, soft and mat free when we got her back

SO WONDERFUL. I have a cat that has a skin issue, and won’t groom herself. So I annually have to shave her. She’s a very picky, whiney and fussy(but beautiful) Himalayan. She’s been to multiple pet spas in DC, Washington State and Maryland. They’ve all made her look awful under the guise that “she’s difficult”.Not Tarma. I just moved back to town and my mom recommended her since she used to groom our dog. My girl looks so great. And the price was very very good for the service. Lifetime customer for sure.UPDATE: 2 years later and still incredibly happy with the grooming and service I receive here. 💛

Mary is truly a dog whisperer. My two dogs are wagging their tails when they come in. Mary listens to what I want and delivers every time. I change the clip depending upon which season it is. Longer in the winter, shorter in the summer. She is great!

Our 4 pound 13 ounce toy yorkie went without water and was in a kennel from 0800 to after 1400. Her nails were barely trimmed. When I asked about it, I was informed Angel did not like having her nails trimmed. Her hair was trimmed about an inch. Not happy. I called to let them know this information and they did not care. Her hair grooming for such a small breed with little done is unsatisfactory including she went without water the entire time she was there. Including being in a kennel for most of the time. No style or professionalism.

Tarma Grooming has been the place we've taken our dog Maggie for years! They are so welcoming and nice! I'll take Maggie in for a bath every so often and they cut her toes for free! I always recommend Tarma grooming to friends and guests of our Lodge!

Cute Business, Great staff! I didn't even need my dog groomed, but I needed a Carrier to bring home a new puppy. TARMA loaned me a carrier so I could bring my puppy home! Not only that but they cut my puppies nails for me for free to!!!! :) THANKS TARMA!
