Wow!!! These guys have hands down the best customer service I have seen in years. They are friendly, they treat you like you’re their number one priority and they are very knowledgeable. I was there in a very busy day during fishing season and they still took their time with me to help and explain things. They never made me feel rushed or that I was annoying them. A nice young, smart gal is the one that helped me. Another had been emailing me about information I had asked. This place is the real deal for customer service. I will always come back to this place over the big box stores any day for anything. I was extremely impressed. I won’t go anywhere else in the area!

Super friendly staff and very helpful. I wasn't in there long before someone asked if they could help me find anything. The guy who helped me was very knowledgeable and kind explaining things to me. There were quite a few people shopping there but I didn't have to stand in line very long to pay.

Trustworthy (aka 'Hardware and Fishing' as I prefer to call it) is one of my favorite stores in Alaska. They have a really nice selection of fishing supplies and the folks are super helpful in advising what to buy for the fish you're targeting. It's fun to look around at all the cool stuff they sell too!

As a local Alaskan and fishing guide on the Kenai, Trustworthy is always here for me from fishing to that one item you need to finish your home project. You would be amazed of what Trustworthy has from fishing to home projects! TW's is a must for fishing but I always try TW's before going to a box store. Lastly, you won't find typically marked up Alaska prices here. As always, the cashiers are super cheerful and willing to help. Thank Trustworthy!

They have all your hardware, hunting supplies, and fishing supplies. Their employees are super nice and family friendly. They also have great knowledge of what you need in your circumstances. They offer business rates for fishing charters which is a huge benefit towards fishing guides. They are definitely the place to go for all outdoor needs and hardware supplies.

This is my favorite store in all of Alaska. The every day prices are great, and their sales are amazing. The friendly service goes beyond the store and pours into the community. The founder and current owners are truly community minded and they're success is built on family and community values. This is always the first place I look when I've either got a project around the house or an adventure to go on. They often times will special order items too. I've saved hundred in shipping and gotten better prices from them than online sources. I never hesitate to shop there.

Very disappointed, went looking for waders/shoes, figured the pickings would be slim, but the location they were in was a disaster area, empty boxes on the shelves, shoes were mixed up in boxes. While looking for what we wanted I cleaned up the area/organized so others could find what they needed quickly, and to make sure I didn'tgo through the sames stuff again in our search. When checking out the cashier acted like we were inconveniencing her, she finally smiled after I said hope you have a great day. How disappointing.

Best place in town to get fishing supplies and tips. They have the best prices and a great selection tailored to the local fisheries. The store manager also helped us out with some fishing tips. Everything he recommended caught fish. He didn’t try to sell us on anything unnecessary.

I have never been to Soldotna before but when I got to Trustworthy everyone was so eager to help me, even when they had others they were helping! It took them no time to help each person! I watched in awe as they helped each of the customers with the same great attitude as they did the person before! Outstanding customer service, but the store could use a bit of rearranging!

We used this store exclusively while on our vacation because of a recommendation from our guide who is a local. What touched my heart was when I was checking out and next to me was a little old man who was also checking out and after he got his items the girl behind the counter came around and gave the old man a hug🙏 He turned to me and said that the reason he comes is for the hugs 👍. Great to see that awesome people still exists.
