Most of the staff, apart from Clint, I interpreted that my questions were annoying them or wasting their time. I understand that they get busy but they are also in a customer service industry. It started to feel like I was talking to people at Dewey’s Cook Inlet in Anchorage. I included Peter as someone who might listen originally but when I spoke to him I kept getting interrupted and talked over. Maybe that’s the culture in that business? Oh well. Who cares about customer service anymore anyway right? I’m just one customer who was pleased with the service my machine received from Clint and his shop crew but it rolls down hill from corporate culture but what do I know? I’ve only worked in customer service a decent part of my whole career. Oh well.

My experience at River & Sea was excellent! I called to get an appt for my motor, which I was having problems with. I was told to bring it on in. I was made to feel like my problem was important to them, and that they valued my business. Hauled my boat from Anchor Point. Talked to the service writer (I didn't catch his name), but he was great. Friendly and confident. Took care of everything and signed my boat in for repair. However, before I unhooked my boat, I talked to Bubba. That gentleman is super! Knowledgable and friendly. He walked out and looked at my outboard and within a few minutes he had diagnosed the problem. He also gave me some tips regarding maintenance. I did not have to leave the boat. A problem I can fix myself. Just needed to know the problem. I learned a lot because they actually talked to me. Saved me a lot of time and money. Thank you.

Time after time I keep trying to give them a chance thinking something might change. Obviously it is my fault for not learning from the past but this is the absolute last time I will ever set foot in that place. The service is horrible the product knowledge is terrible and the service department is garbage. The only thing you receive are excuses and lies while you drive by and see your machine sit in the same spot you left it regardless of how many of their products you have bought in the past

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Bob is an excellant salesman who will sell you a Brand new bike and pretty much tell you it's your problem when it starts falling apart day 1. When it continued to malfunction the inept mechanics in the shop dissasembled our ATV just to ell us they can't do anything. Then gave us back the atv disassembled, and CHARGED US TO TAKE IT APART AND GIVE IT BACK TAKEN APART. This shady business is not worth your time or money. They are just gonna take your money and give absolutely 0 support from Yamaha or sea & marine. I'll never buy Yamaha again because of this place.

We have been in there twice. Customer service is terrible. last time in the woman behind the counter had a real attitude. I wanted an estimate to trouble shoot an electrical problem on our boat. She proceeded to tell me it would take time to write the ticket, get the boat in the yard etc. Prices are very high. We bought 600 feet of anchor line across the street at Trustworthy Hardware for half the price River and Sea wanted.

I bought a HewesCraft Alaskan 270 from River & Sea Marine in 2019. Their service, professionalism, and expertise has been absolutely phenomenal. They are prompt, honest, and Peter and Melissa Thomson, the Owners, and their staff, will always give you a great recommendation on what needs done, and the ramifications of each option, regardless of how it affects their bottom line. They have a great Mechanic crew: Scott; Adam; and Bubba know my boat and have kept it in tip top shape for the last two years. I got rammed into towing the boat by a clueless driver last month. Peter and Melissa spent a ton of their own time helping and advising me with the insurance companies. I'm going to bring in my used Willie for a makeover, and this is absolutely the right place to come. If you could pick one company, run by people with integrity and your best interest at heart, this is the one. Trust Peter and Melissa. Trust River & Sea Marine.

Smooth talking bullshitters who only work on the Yamaha products THEY sell. If you have a Yamaha generator and it's broke they won't touch it. Better off going to Anchorage and have some real mechanics work on your Yamaha products these guys are little Leaguers
