This place is great! The staff is friendly and will help set you up anything you want to do. I went out on the Scooter tour and I really enjoyed it. There was a little rain, but they have all the rain gear you need, so I was warm and cozy. I recommend wearing a warm coat under your rain gear though. The views are stunning, and I came back feeling rejuvenated and energized! It was totally worth it and an experience I won't forget. The other people in the group were friendly and we had a very detailed guide who made sure we were all comfortable and took some really great group photos of us. If you are looking for a fun, scenic adventure, I highly recommend doing the scooter tour!

We visited Skagway while on an Alaskan cruise on princess cruise line. One of the members of the crew on the ship told us about Skagway Scooters. We rented Harleys and took off on the road. The staff at Skagway Scooters were so nice and helpful. They made sure we knew where to go and to point out that we should make it to Emerald Lake, Yukon, Canada, and we are glad we did. It was so beautiful and breathtaking. It was a great way to spend 4 hours seeing sights. We could not have asked for better service.

My wife and I took a Princess Cruise to Skagway, AK. We did not schedule an excursion because the Cruise lines are always more expensive. My wife found this place on-line and wanted to ride scooters with a tour. The tour included 5 other people with a tour guide name Chase. The tour was fantastic. I highly recommend it. We were out about 4 hours and it was beautiful. Chase was an awesome tour guide. We had a great time.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. They confirmed with me via both email and text. Easy walk from cruise port. Had us ease into the bikes and then out on super simple roadways with light to no traffic at all. A fantastic trip and beautiful views all around. Don't miss it - I'd book again in a heartbeat!!

Came upon Skagway Scooters exploring the main street, made instant decision to rent a MC to do our own tour instead of a group tour. Best bang for the bucks. $200.00 gets you four hours with helmets, jackets, boots, pants included. Rob, Chase & Mike were very helpful and efficient, they gave us advice on where to go, which was Carcross. A beautiful ride where every turn was a postcard. Would recommend this company.

Such a positive experience. Skagway Scooters & Inspired Rides were awesome. My wife and I rented their 2017 Road Glide. The bike was really nice but the real story of service began as we were outfitted for our gear. It was raining and cloudy. Not pouring, but a strong drizzle. Temps in the 50's at sea level.. These guys fitted us with cold weather waterproof riding coats and pants. 2 pair of gloves each as well. They even offered waterproof riding boots..What could have been a miserable ride was made excellent by their services and knowledge of what is needed to ride up into the Yukon!

Visited the shop during our cruise on the NCL JEWEL . Friendly and helpful staff . Chase and Aaron helped me select the route and necessary paperwork and i was on the bike within 15 minutes. Cherry on the cake was their hospitality as they dropped me to the junction so i dont get lost !There was also a beautiful Husky back at their shop and the pizza was delicious 💕

This was our favorite event on our cruise! Staff is helpful and driving ourselves around and exploring was so much fun! Of course the weather was awesome...I don't think it would be so great on a rainy day.

Friendly and very knowledgeable tour guide. Carl took the time to share his wealth of knowledge of the area, both historical and geographic. He was able to spot an eagle high in the trees, and let us know about the upcoming salmon run in the river. Highly recommend this 3 hour tour( or, ride your own tour!)

We rented our scooters directly from Skagway Svooters. This is so much better and cheaper than doing a ship shore excursion. They met us right downtown at their office, shuttled us to the scooters and directed us on how to ride. Then we were free to travel where we wanted. We drove to Dyea, the Chilkoot trailhead and to the historic Skagway cemetery where we saw the famous Soapy Smith's grave. After we returned the scooters they shuttled us to the entrance of our ship's gangway. It was the best part of our trip. So call them direct. It is so worth it.

We had a great, ride of your life experience! The man on duty was friendly, helpful, and efficient. We rented a motorcycle and got in and out of the store quickly. He told us where we should ride and we went to Canada and then took another dirt road route he suggested when we came back to town. They provided us with helmets, jackets and pants to stay warm. I highly suggest you take the pants and jacket. We had gloves with us so that was nice too. This ride was a once in a life time ride. The mountains and lakes you will see are spectacular. I would suggest renting a motorcycle rather than a scooter so you can go farther faster. Again, the man we worked with was very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I along with two friends just got back from an Alaskan cruise and this was our favorite part. Matt was super friendly and laid back. Prices were very reasonable and he didn't start the hourly rate until AFTER we were done training and all felt comfortable. They also provide everything you need at no extra cost (helmet, eye protection, gloves, jacket if you need them). They also have a map mounted on the handle bars but you won't need to use it much since there's mainly one road you'll go on with minimal traffic. The scooters themselves were a smooth ride and had fat tires which were perfect for the terrain. Tons of fun just to ride them but adding the incredible scenery makes this something we'll never forget. It makes you feel like you're really experiencing back-country Alaska and not just the tourist part. Overall, it took us exactly 2 hours to see everything and get back to town. You won't be able to find a more fun and affordable time in Skagway.

The tour they offer was a highlight of my vacation. Had a great time and enjoyed our tour guide. The make sure you are comfortable riding in the back before you get in the road. This is definitely a must! Do yourself a favor and call them or walk-in and book. Don’t book this through a cruise line or other excursion service. I saved a lot money by booking with them in person and enjoyed every second! They will outfit you with everything you need (helmet, glasses:goggles, gloves, jacket). Very fun a great way to explore the less touches places of Skagway.

I went here with my wife and family and the people were Awesome! Prices were great and ice cream hit the spot. We stopped in skagway while on a cruise and put excursion got cancelled so we found this place and decided to give it a go. You rent the scooters or dirt bikes if you have your endorsement and you can go where ever you would like! No guides, no time limit, nothing! We took back roads all over and went to a beautiful bay and glacial waterfall and all kinds of hidden places. This ended up being the highlight of outer entire cruise! We even bought sunglasses from the shop as a souvenir and my wife still wears hers in the summers! Thank you to this amazing staff and owner for such an awesome experience!

My husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise back in September and this was our absolute favorite part of the trip. We were tired of the canned up excursions. This was the best was to get off on our own and explore the beauty of Skagway on the scooters. Matt was awesome and got us all set up for the day of fun.

Skagway day trips was the best experience of our whole trip. We took the van tour to the yukon and were blown away with the beauty. It was a truly a personal experience we will never forget. When we got back, we had plenty of time to enjoy the town with the scooter rentals. I would recommend this extremely personal experience to anybody visiting Skagway. They made this our favorite stop of our whole trip. Don't get stuck being shuttled like a herd of cattle. I wish there were more tour companies that would take this approach.

This is THE place to go if you want to have a fun time in Skagway. We got a private van rental for our group in the morning and went up the White Pass and then out to Dyea. We saw all kinds of wildlife -- the best part is was a grizzly bear!!!! Then we got back and rented scooters for a couple hours and that was a freaking blast to just ride around and sight-see on our own. Plus the guys that run the business are so cool and easy to work with. Would go back again any time!!!

This was a highlight of our vacation! Great time, great places, and great people. I would highly recommend Skagway Scooters. Jana was our guide and she was extremely intelligent, safe, and fun to be around. Don't miss out on this great adventure and see Alaska in a new and fun way.

We were shopping down Broadway when we glanced over and saw some motorcycles parked in front of a little shop. We didn't have any intention of riding, until we heard them fire up one of the motorcycles, that siren song had us immediately crossing the street and asking about their bikes...Chase was awesome - he was friendly and had us out on scooters quickly and happily! We only had about an hour and a half before we had to check-in for our excursion, but he got us underway with a pair of Honda Ruckus scooters, sent us to a waterfall behind the cemetery, then we stopped at the end of a gorgeous lagoon. Scooting around beautiful Alaska without a helmet was certainly a highlight of our trip!

Getting off the boat in Juneau we saw a sign for motorcycle rentals. We talked to Chris and he set up everything for us to pick up the bike the next day in Skagway. When we checked in they gave us all the gear (helmets gloves etc) we needed at no additional cost. The bike (2017 Electaglide) was in perfect condition. The guys gave us a great scenic route, even saw a bear. Rented motorcycles in 5 states and Italy. Best experience ever.

One of our favorite days on our trip. We didn't do the guided tour and loved being able to go wherever we wanted. I would recommend renting the scooters for at least 3 hours and get there at least 30min before your reservation because the tutorial takes a long time, especially if their not convinced you can drive the scooter. Highly recommend!!!

Being preggers, I didn't think that being on a scooter was a good idea for me. But I got to sample one of their mini donuts with maple. One bite and I knew these babies were special!!! I grabbed my hubby and insisted we go in. He ordered an espresso, just since he's be sitting with me for a bit. But he ended up being totally impressed - he said it was absolutely awesome! As for the donuts, you can order six, twelve or a bucket. You can top them with chocolate, maple or cinnamon sugar. The maple sample really did it for me, so I went for six of those. These little donuts had that amazing fried, crispy exterior and an inside that was fluffy and melted away to nothing. Basically like mini funnel cakes. So if that's your style, you'll love this place!!

Great shop. Not affiliated with the cruise I went on, so I didn't know about the shop till I walked by it. I rented the KLR 650 and took it out for the whole time I was in Port awesome ride through the mountains. I would recommend this for anyone stopping at Port at Skagway

Best way to experience Alaska and get a sense of solitude. Skagway is port for multiple cruise ships daily, so there are plenty of crowds here. However, if you are part of the cruise but want to escape the crowds, this is the place. Prices were competitive for similar length excursions. They offer scooters, street bikes and enduros. Street bikes and enduros allow for a passenger. Scooters do not. Street bikes and enduros require a motorcycle endorsement on your license. Scooters do not. Enduros and scooter are allowed on dirt roads; street bikes are not. Consider making reservations as they only offer two enduro bikes (KLR 650 and African Twin at the time this review is submitted). Of all the excursions we did, this was a favorite.
