Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Decent beer selection and of all we tried, not a bad option to be found.Root beer was also really good. And unexpectedly, really dug the music on the Saturday we visited. Walked in right as "Barrett's Privateers" was getting rolling over the speakers, and kept right on rolling with good old Stan Rogers. According to the barkeeper, they decided to do Sea Shanty Saturday, and I agree it's a great choice for the region.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I've been a craft beer fan/tourist since before I could legally drink beer and have travelled far and wide to sample beer. I've been to the west coast, the east coast, and many points in-between. I grew up in Wisconsin and have sampled some of the best beer in the world there. Why am I telling you all of this? To establish my bona fides, so that when I tell you this is the best DAMN brewery in all the land, you can believe that I know what I'm talking about.Do they have food? Sure, but if you are someone who is looking for and appreciates good food over good beer, then you're looking for a restaurant, not a brewery. The Spruce Ale (made with Sitka Spruce tips with a Rye IPA base) is far and away the best beer I've ever tasted and it's made here. Technically, there are two breweries in Skagway, but really Klondike is so far ahead of where Skagway Brewing Company in regards to quality that it's not even a close competition. If you can only visit one, do yourself a favor and drink here. The staff is spectacularly amazing and generous with their time and attention. The venue is similar to other breweries, but this one is warmer, with fewer industrial touches and more natural wood to make it feel inviting.Honestly, I could go on for pages about this place. I spent an entire afternoon here just enjoying the fantastic beer. Some of you may not find anything you like here, in which case I imagine you're far too picky to please. But, if you're a true craft beer fan, I imagine you may fall in love with this place just like I did.

One of the best breweries I have been to. This is not one of the places that the cruise ships will tell you about, but we found it on Google and decided to check it out as it was very near the cruise dock. So glad we did! We bought two different flights, so we tried 7 different beers and really enjoyed all of them. Not much in the way of food, but you can get a hot dog/bag of chips. Friendly staff, great beer, cool atmosphere.

Nice little brewery in town with a decent selection of brews. We did a flight and really enjoyed everything we tried, though my favorite was the spruce brew which is made from local trees. There isn’t a ton of seating but they do have several tables and have merchandise for sale.

We stopped here for few hours after our cruise ship docked in Skagway. Their local Spruce ale called Whipsaw, was solid so please try. There’s a beautiful beer garden in the back where you can just chill and enjoy your beer and views. The staff was very friendly and full of information. A must visit if you’re in town

Hit this Brewery one evening after the cruise ship passengers had returned to their vessel for the night. Beautiful tasting rooms, developing read patio area and the most delightful host named Taby. Tasted two flights of brews and fell in love with the Amber and Spruce Tip (IPA I think?). Also enjoyed flipping through some of the books intertwined in the displays. Naturally picked up a souvenir T-shirt. Would have loved to buy one with the hand drawn logo in the picture though.

Good brewery in Skagway, nice patio at the back. Beers were pretty good, especially the barrel aged one.

I go to a lot of breweries, and this one is maybe my favorite. The location is great - so close to where the cruise ships dock in Skagway. The inside area is cool but mostly the area out back is fantastic, especially the covered area that protects you from Skagway’s frequent drizzle. And the Adirondack chairs are so comfy. But really - it’s the staff here who are so great. They make you feel like you’re right at home - if home was an excellent craft brewery. Don’t miss out if you’re in Skagway!

Loved this brewery. Smaller, quaint and the I side fit my image of a town brewery. Beers were good, service was friendly and had a nice atmosphere. Just beware that it looks like tours buses drop off people, so we got overwhelmed pretty quickly. Glad we had a window seat and some time to relax before the bus dropped off.Loved it.

Stopped by for a quick beer after a hike. The service was friendly and quick! We tried the Sluicehead (a pilsner) and Cherry Poppins. If memory serves, it was a 4oz pour, which is the perfect amount for me in the afternoon. Plenty of seating both inside and out.

Some of the best beer I've had. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We could have stayed here all day enjoying their great selection of microbrews but we had to get back on our cruise ship. Looking forward to coming back again.

Another solid brewery in Skagway! Like Skagway Brewing Co, they have their own version of locally-loved (and personally-loved as well) Spruce Tip Ale. Great people and awesome gold-rush saloon vibe! Great brews, but no food if you are looking for lunch. On 2nd, just off Broadway. Definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic beer and even better personnel. Definitely would recommend the back porch/outdoor area while you enjoy the best beer in Skagway with a glacier view. Tabby and her team are customer service 10/10. Hammerstone is a must try! Saison also on point. Don't miss this while you're here!

The facility was nice and had a fair amount of seating. The beer was all solid, I liked the coffee blonde and the spruce tip beer the most. The brewer was super nice and I got a quick overview there system which I appreciated. Lots of swag options. The ordering was table service vs at a bar which made it seem a little disorganized, but it was fine.

First and foremost the beer is fantastic.Visiting from Santa Barbara CA on a cruise with the family. Alaska is gorgeous and there isn't enough time for everything.I am thankful that we made a point to stop in and enjoy a beer at Klondike Brewing Co. Everyone working there was fantastic and the beer was delicious. I had their 2nd Avenue Stout. One of my favorites that I've tried so far. Highly recommend!! 😄🍻

Great beers with nice finish. The Klondike original is a really consistent and the Happy Endings was surprisingly hoppy yet still light! The Punchbowl was everything delicious about a sour without the pungent sour bite. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a good beer and good environment.

Found this place by accident when I was walking around town and I'm glad I stopped in. Really good locally brewed beer and the atmosphere was terrific. The Double Barrel Blonde Ale was my favorite.

Great little brewery. I loved their Whipsaw Spruce. It was part of a flight they offered on their menu. If I lived in Skagway it would be my go to brewery.

They are friendly, and have a v.popular small, lovely gravel garden in the back to enjoy the drinks and weather, or spacious interior with dark wood panelingDevil's punch bowl is smooth and mild, with a fruity flavour. If this is hell, what heaven!Paystreak IPA has a slightly astringent taste, and is smooth.Whipsaw Spruce Bier has a gorgeous floral bouquet.Hammerstone DIPA is almost amber coloured. It's bitter, yet smooth..
