Highly recommend. Captain Kobe is on his game . He is one of the best if not the best Captain I fished with . I went with him 2 times and hopefully many more . He showed us the trips of a life time . Fish house was spot on . We was supposed to come home with 150 lbs total we came home with 150 lbs X 3 . There was 3 of us fishing. The other Captians that I meet at the dock from the Fish House are great also. I gave it 5 stars because they didn't offer more .

Superb time on a half day Salmon Fishing Charter. Eric was our guide and he was superb with everyone including our 15 and 7 yoa. I would not recommend having young children - 7 was about the minimum age if not a little older - but we caught both Salmon and Rockfish and Eric was AWESOME. If you are wondering (which we were) it’s more cost effective to process the fish and take it with you then ship it. But would absolutely recommend this charter (booked it same week, good price and excellent customer service).

More than just your typical True Value Harware store, you can also book fishing charters at the front desk..The Fishhouse carries a good inventory of marine accessories and has a good selection of boat parts and bottom paint, and upstairs household type items, clothing and Foul weather gear.Good selection of specially bolts, and harder to find stuff that you would typically need to go online to find.

Captain Jim was not the friendliest but he put us on fish consistently and made sure everyone was catching them. Group only caught 4 salmon and I felt like we didn’t spend enough time on them. The deckhands were great and never stopped working the whole day on a ten hour trip. Tipped them a hundred and Came home with 40 pounds of fish so did ok. First trip to Alaska so we had nothing to compare to but one in Hawaii last year that was a bust.

Awesome charter! Highly recommend! My girlfriend and I have gone halibut fishing with Captain Jimmy on the Perseverance several times and we always have a BLAST! Jimmy is phenomenal at putting his clients on fish, and the deckhands are the best and friendliest in the business. If you’re lucky enough to book a coveted spot with these guys, do it without hesitation.

Took a half day rock fish trip with my father, daughter and son-in-law today.The Captain, Tom I believe was his name, on the Servant was excellent and a pretty down to earth guy. He had two deck hands aboard, and we had a lot of conversation with one in particular, Jordan, whim was excellent.All of the crew were helpful and professional and we really appreciated them taking the time to tend to the needs of every person on board. This was my daughter and her husband's first charter and they certainly left happy with a pleasant experience!One item in particular I want to share.... this is always the type of Captain and crew I want to pay for on a charter! Even though I prefer smaller crowds on a charter like a 6 person boat, I found it to be very respectful and appealing they waited for every last person to catch their limit.There was this little redheaded girl, maybe about 10, in another group who hadn't caught her limit. They stayed until she did, almost to a point t where everyone was cheering her on. BRAVO GENTLEMEN...BRAVO!I will definitely pay for a trip again with these guys when I come back to town!

This experience was incredible!! We did a full day halibut charter with Jimmy and Colby. They were really helpful and charasmatic, also very knowledgeable! They answered all my questions without hesitation. It was truly a great experience spending the day with them!My party of 3 made it out with a 33.5lb yield and everyone caught their limit with some time to spare!

These folks know what they're doing. No sugar-coating what this is - fishing in an unbelievable location . These are hard working individuals that love what they do. ...and it rubs off on the lucky few who get to go out when everything is just right. My family and I went out on the afternoon trip on the Perseverance and it was beyond what i imagined.

We originally booked a full day halibut & salmon charter with another charter in town, but got cancelled due to bad weather and rough seas. Luckily, The Fish House was able to get us on an afternoon rockfish charter with Captain Nick on Revelation and we had an excellent trip! Captain Nick was extremely patient, helpful, and fun to be around. Everyone else on the boat had hit their rockfish limit for the day, except for me. But Captain Nick was persistent and helped me hit my limit before it was time to head back to harbor (even though it was rainy and the seas were rough). Thank you so much Captain Nick and the Fish House for a memorable day!

We booked this charter June 29th, 2021. Our guide, Nick, took us out to a fishing spot where our group caught a halibut and a cod. After a while, Nick decided to move to a different spot and got us on them. We almost caught our limit. He moved us to a different spot to finish out, which limited us out quickly. The boat was nice and clean. The gear provided was perfect. Nick did a great job! If I get to go again, I’d definitely call The Fish House!

Had a great time last week with Captain Jeremy. Took a half day trip in some rough waters and limited out almost too fast with salmon and bonus fish. Very friendly and did an amazing job walking us through the processing and getting the fish home after. Definitely recommend

My husband and I absolutely had an awesome time. We did 3 trips for halibut and rockfish fish. We limited on all days plus bonus fish. Captain Jake, Wes And Dillion were amazing keeping poles in the water even though they were out numbered 5-1.The staff in the fish house were very helpful and friendly too! We definitely will be back.

Went out with Colby on the Relentless on a 6 pack charter. Very fast boat and he had us the fishing grounds in an hour and a half. After a start where we caught only a couple he put us on the silvers and in an hour and half we limited. Colby was very patient with novice anglers and made sure all of us got baited and in the water right away. Good with a net and a gaff and helluva nice guy. Would go out on the Relentless anytime with Colby

Let me begin this with context. I booked three fishing charters with two companies last week with the Fish House being my third trip. There was good weather all three days. I don't think the gentleman that took our group out was setup for success. There were no deck hands, which can always slow things down, and he "seemed" kind of new to halibut fishing. We were supposed to be on a larger boat with more folks out, but due to low booking, we were shifted to another setup. There was a large halibut lost as it was at the boats edge, and I believe it was due to the hook size being to small. It was a frustrating day. The other two days with a different company worked out very well, and I checked in with them when we returned from our trip with the Fish House, and they did quite well.

We came to Seward, Alaska, with one primary goal. Get my daughter halibut, since she missed the last halibut outing in 2006. This time, she is all grown up, and this was her top request for her graduation trip. My high school friend, who has been a Seward local for over 2 decades, recommended the Fish House for this most important adventure. Captain Jacob and deckhands Wesley and Dillon did a great job. The entire boat caught halibut and rockfish limits! Outstanding job, guys.

A few friends and I booked a half day charter well in advance of the trip date. Upon arriving to the Fish House after a 3 hr. drive, we were very surprised to hear that we could not check in to our trip due to an unknown boat issue. We were told to wait 30 minutes and check back in only to find out that our charter was cancelling due to "mechanical issues." The Fish House did not provide us with any communication that could have prepared us for this issue, and ultimately cost us a day on the water because all other charters had been booked. Boat issues happen - but in this case, the customer service was very disappointing.

My complaint has to do with getting Covid and the the fish house’s refund policy. There were 5 of us with Covid confirmed by Seward emergency room. We figured that they would not want their crew and passengers getting sick so we canceled and asked them for a refund. They didn’t make a decision until after the boats left. They chose to give us only 2 refunds out of 5. My advice would be if you feel well enough to go, go.

So the good thing was they got us a last minute charter on fathers day and we had the boat to ourselves. Very impressive there. The ladies in the store are awesome!The boat Captain we had was not what we were hoping for. He was ok but not very upbeat at all and seemed to get annoyed by our lack of fishing experience at times. We did catch some fish but most were pretty small. That was just luck of the draw though. The website says the boat was supposed to come in at 5pm but for some reason we came in 2 hours early although still charged full price for the charter. I tipped 15% but honestly that seemed to be too much to me for the service we got. All in all not a bad experience but I've been on much better charters. I'll likely be going somewhere else next time.

The fish house is amazing! They put us on fish and worked hard for everyone on the boat! Jimmy, Wesley, and Simmeon were top notch and exceeded expectations! We were very pleased with the entire process. From making the reservation, to our full day of fishing everything was a well oiled machine! On our next trip we definitely know who we will be fishing with!

Thay charge 20.00 per person when fuel is over $5.00. Checked fuel price was $4.65. Crew was good. Would go with puffin fish next time.

The Fish House was AMAZING!They were excellent to work with, booking was easy, and everyone we spoke with was helpful.The store was nice and and we found some good deals, but nothing beats the charter.We had a full day on the Servant with Tom and Ron and they were wonderful!Tom was professional, catered to everyone on board, and knowledgeable- a top-notch captain.Ron did an excellent job as well and took care of everything quickly; he was careful and thorough with cleaning our fish.Both guys were attentive and worked hard to make sure everyone on board had a good experience.Our family really enjoyed the day.Thank you Tom and Ron for making it great!

One word... wow! We were so fortunate to take a charter aboard The Servant with Captain Tom, Ronnie and Jordan. We lucked out with great weather and had an absolute blast fishing for halibut and rockfish. We will definitely be back and these guys were THE BEST.

We spent a day on the Resolute fishing with Captain Clint. From start to finish this outfit was amazing. From the folks we spoke to to book out charter, to the ladies working in the store (the store is also a one stop for just about anything you might need in Seward), to Clint on the boat, our experience was first rate. We did not hit the halibut hard, but we cleaned up in rockfish, caught a couple of cod, and even bagged a king salmon. This was a great day on the boat and our 12 year old had an amazing first charter trip. Clint was knowledgeable, polite, and always on the spot to help everyone out on the boat. He also took time on the way back in to point out humpback whales “bubble net” fishing. He also apologized no fewer than 15 times for us not getting the limit on halibut. This was a great trip with a top-notch outfit. We will absolutely go out again with this charter and we will be requesting Clint when we do.

My wife and I spent 2 days fishing with Jimmy and Coby on the Perseverance. The knowledge and professionalism of this crew was outstanding. We caught full limits of Halibut both days, and a limit of Salmon one day and a limit of rock fish the other. Also, the customer service of the staff working at the reservation desk and store was fantastic as well! I would HIGHLY recommend The Fish House to anyone to make their trip to Seward worth while!
