I was crewing and cooking one 10-day leg of a two month sailing trip (Anacortes, WA - BC -Juneau & return) and needed to buy a few more things after a rushed provisioning stop in Ketchikan. This store can't compete with the lower 48 on selection or price but I had the best service I've ever had. Shopping in an unfamiliar store is challenging enough as is making last minute menu changes based on product availability. Every employee I met was super helpful. One (I don't remember his name - sorry) even stopped stocking a shelf and personally walked me to every item remaining on my list. Service like that is unheard of and was very refreshing. 5 stars, no hesitation. (Their fresh asparagus was the perfect side for my baked fresh halibut filets with fresh crab topper & stir-fried asparagus dinner. There were no leftovers. lol)

This is one of two local grocery stores in the town. They have great deals and are in downtown Petersburg. I like the fact that they are open later than the other grocery store. I would definitely shop here! 😁

Positive polite informative helpful staff....their food warmer/hot box is a favorite with good variety...and they make a good Reuben sandwich.....and beyond food they have western union...gifts....toys....clothes...good place

I love the Trading Union. Always have. I used to get conan the barbarian comics here. It still smells just like it did in the 80's. Hard core nostalgia.

For Petersburg Alaska. Great service and decent, prices. They always have great sales. Good quality meats and produce. Dairy prices are fair.
