The dog groomers at scrub a mutt ROCK! My dogs are always happy, smelling good and perfectly groomed! I thank you for how awesome you all are.. I have had horrible places terrify my dogs, cut there skin and worse. I have been bringing my puppers to the folks at Scrub-a-Mutt for years. This is a local business that takes pride in an excellent reputation. They are booked 6 weeks in advance but bringing on new experienced staff. They've done a great job grooming my big Aussie boy 10 years and working to tame his fear-biter, mean little sister the last 6 years. They're both ready to go on time or early, sashaying out bright with little ear bows, proud to show off their new look (and smell!). Not cheap but worth the fee. My two come out bathed, trimmed, nails short and smoothed for about $90. I've just brought my collie puppy in for introduction to the grooming process. At the end of the day, he was happy, clean and nails trimmed--an excellent outcome for his first trial. He was exhausted and ready to sleep.

I adopted a dog from LCAR in North Pole. She arrived in desperate need of a bath. She had recently been spayed so no water could be used while her incision is healing. The ladies instead gave my sweet "Gracie" a dry shampoo and brush out. It helped so much and I'm so grateful. We're scheduled for a full bath in two weeks. So thankful for this awesome business. Top notch!

I've been taking my Furbabies there for years. They do great work and my babies are treated well there. The owner is very understanding if you have an "older" pup that needs that "extra" care.

We took our dog here for several years. They honestly used to be good. Pretty affordable. However, I noticed the last few times we picked him up that certain things we requested and paid for were not done. Sanitary trims, nails, paw pad trims. None of it. Shave jobs were very patchy and needed home touch-ups. When asked why, we were told we hadn't asked for the extra things to be done, but we were charged as if they'd been done. We'll not be returning.

My fiancé and I haven’t been able to find anyone to cut our 90 lb Labrador/Mastiff’s nails. She absolutely hates it and is really strong, so it’s usually a 2-3 person job. We’ve been to our vet and unfortunately they weren’t able to get her nails clipped, even with Trazadone prior. These guys were great! Their walk-in service is efficient and we were in and out & they only charged us $6 - so affordable compared to everyone else in town. Will be bringing her back every 4 weeks.

Wayyy too EXPENSIVE. Brought my dog in for a basic bath/brush/ and very minimal trim and they charged me $155. The trimming wasn’t the best either. And she was pretty clean already when I brought her in, it’s not like she was caked in mud or super matted. Won’t be returning sadly.

They have always done a great job for me with my 135lb giant lab. The service is professional and after going a couple times I could tell they were good folks because my dog seemed eager to get inside.If you like having a healthy, clean pup then you might want to check them out.

I've been going here for at least 10 years. The option to drop in for nail trimmings including dremel filing is my most common visit. I love that the staff are quick to trim my dog's nails before they even realize the clippers were pulled out. Don't forget to tip your groomer!

The people are so good with our mixed breed, Katy. She has severe anxiety about being crated and they have worked with her and with us to help her overcome that. The staff is amazing and friendly and know her by name, even when they see us in public. I also have a crazy schedule and often call short notice. They try and work me in as best as they can. I highly recommend them.

I use to love this place and recommend it all the time. The last two times I took my dog there he acted weird and nervous. The final straw which made me never take him back is they cut the entire top of his nose off and didn’t even say anything to me. Someone just flipped it back over like it never happened. I use to groom dogs and there is no way you wouldn’t know that you did that.

Hands down the best! I cant give a review on grooming, as I havent needed it, but my Max goes in routinely for his nails and occasionally for a wash and they are so great. He is a big pup and a lot to move around, but he loves going there so that says a lot. Would highly recommend.

My dogs become very nervous when I try to trim their nails. The walk in convenience of taking them to Scrub A Mutt is a no brainier. We're in and out in a few minutes... no stress, no whimpering, no problems.

I bring my dogs in here to get their nails cut because they won’t sit still for me to do it. They get the job done fast and it only costs me around $3 per dog. I never make an appointment either just walk-in and I am always out the door with in 10 minutes. Definitely worth the money!

Love the caring and experienced staff here. I’ve been taking my dogs to them for over a decade and can not recommend them highly enough! They offer grooming, nail trims, bathing, and are very affordable. I just wish they offered boarding too!

My wife took our Shepherd/retriever mix in at 9:30AM for a trim/wash/haircut. This was scheduled a week or so beforehand. Dropped him off and expected a few hours at most. She gives them a call a few hours later and they still aren't done, say they'll be done by 2:30PM. She can't be there at that time because of school pickups but can be there at 4:00. She found a window of time to be there at 3:00 and says what dog she is there for, then a voice from the back, "she said she wouldn't be here till 4:00." That's when they >start< to trim his fur. Why would a groomer take our dog at 9:30 in the morning and not plan to finish until they close?But wait....She gets home and lets the dog outside to do business, comes inside and blood is coming from his foot. Not just a little. They cut his quick, threw some styptic powder on it and never said a word! There is no redemption for this groomer from us. Poor scheduling, sloppy nail trimmers, unprofessional.

I was driving by a few days ago, sign said open, so i decided I was going to stop in and schedule appointments for all 3 of my pups. Walked to the door and it was locked. I could clearly hear multiple people inside. Knocked twice, no one answered then saw someone peek out a front window who saw I was there, then quickly went away from the window, yet still didn't open the door to talk to me. Guess I'll go somewhere else...

We are RVing through the area. The groomers were very helpful getting our cock-a-poo in given the limited time we would be in Palmer. Our 13 year-old Sammy has many health problems, including going bald and many skin growths. They did a great job grooming him and he was not distressed at all. Thanks so much!
