I love this bookstore so much! They got me through my BA in English and I always have an amazing lovely time when I visit. I love their selection of books, the employees are knowledgeable and friendly, and whenever I see friends from outside of town, I bring them here! They also have a cool system where you can donate books in exchange for used book credits :) Thank you so much to this lovely shop, I highly recommend anyone go there!Edit: they also have the coolest bathroom I have ever seen. You'll know what I mean when you go in there.

Love fireside! They also make fantastic gift boxes that are so creative! I wound up getting this cute gift basket and a $50 gift certificate! My kids and I shop there all of the time!

What an amazing, amazing place. I loved it so much I burst into tears of joy and gratitude at the door. (Sometimes you just really NEED a welcoming bookstore, y’know?) The books are clearly laid out, and SO MUCH is packed in this little shop. Books, gifts, zines, stickers, tchotchkes, helpful information!! It’s the type of place where you go in for one thing and walk out with 30, along with some serious questions about how you might still be able to pay your rent next month. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, even allowing me to stay a little past closing as I tried to whittle down my purchases. I kept wandering around, open-mouthed, agape at what there was to discover in every nook and cranny. Fireside Books is a warm hug for your brain and your soul.

It's probably one of the best decorated bookstores I have seen. Well organized, and while not the largest selection of books, it seemed to have a little of everything. Not much in the way of used books, which was what I was hunting, but a lovely neighborhood book store.

This is a great little locally owned book store. They have a selection of new and used books and can order books for you. I can always find something interesting and the staff are always helpful. I just wish they were bigger.

Awesome little hole in the wall book store. Great selection, the staff was super awesome and tolerated my very curious(sometimes annoying) kids and went above and beyond entertaining all of their questions. Beware they do have a dog in the store and shes a doll, so if you have allergies you may want to take precautions before visiting but I highly recommend them.

This bookstore has gone down hill the last few years. They have aligned themselves with the movement to push pedophelia and child exploitation as well as communism. They don’t simply sell varying books on varying subjects, they actively push the pedophelia and communist agenda. This is a very dangerous place for your children. This is not a place that values our constitutional republic.

An adorable new and used book store that sells local delights from coffee beans to artwork. There is not a reading nook but it is a very comfortable Shoppe to browse through and pick your favorites. Don't be afraid to ask for something you don't see because they are very sweet and helpful and will let you know if they have it in their backstock or how much it would cost to order. Have any extra books you aren't reading anymore they might take them for your store credit rewards account!

I ordered a $25 surprise box for my grandson. It was perfect! Even included a puzzle , which he loves. But my favorite part of the order, and it was just a coincidence, was the book with the character that has the same name as my grandson!

Fireside Books is always my go to for books, and has been for almost thirteen years. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very customer focused.My wife called them this morning to see if they had three books in stock. They had one, and held it for us, and we have the other two on order. They even have managed to get hold of some out of print books for us in the past.If you're in Palmer, or need a book, this is a wonderful place to visit. They often host local Alaskan authors for book signings and other events, which I've personally had the pleasure of being part of.

Definitely making fireside my go to bookstore from now on, they have a huge selection, it's set up and categorized wonderfully. They've got brand new books at regular prices and really great condition used books at low prices. Pretty much everything you could want in a bookstore, love it.

Fireside is a great local bookstore that has an awesome selection and a delightful cozy atmosphere. They give great recommendations and set up cool displays to show the new arrivals and they occasionally feature different themes (most recent was cooking in fantasy worlds).The cost is a tiny bit higher but it's a price I'm willing to pay to support my local bookstore.

They have a wide selection of books from all genres, and some extra items like desk toys, branded clothing, and even some seeds! The staff is super friendly and helpful.
