Love it here, it'd a Shell gas station and has great food. Been stopping by for the past 4 years. Best spot to stop by on your way to Anchorage or back to Homer. Staff are amazing and very friendly. Don't ask stupid questions like where ca. I see a moose or a bear.

The store manager in the ninilchik store is a complete a- hole… he severely lacks customer service skills, is very high on himself and his position as ‘store manager’ and acts like a high and mighty queen. Go across the street to Tesoro that has cheaper gas and lots of food for same price, and you will get great customer service unlike in 3 bears.

Reasonable gas prices and a nice, clean store. The restrooms were very clean. We stocked up on items for our 11 day car camping Alaska adventure and were pleasantly surprised with grocery prices.

Great little grocery/convenience store for all the locals. No pharmacy but a good selection of OTC medications. Lots of produce, dry goods, dairy, soft drinks. And an ice cream bar and soft-serve! Fishing licenses as well. We went several times, and will return when we're up that way again.

Clean store, great staff - they have the grocery store, gas station and hardware store - they've got you covered! I see some reviews complaining about prices - they're the same as the 3 Bears in Kenai.If you use cash, the Three bears Shell station (and to be fair, tesoro across the street cash or credit) have been the cheapest gas & diesel (maybe even propane) on the peninsula lately.That's the 3 Bears Ace hardware store behind also - I heard they're struggling a bit financially - let's all try to get what we can there and support them... We do NOT want to drive 45 minutes to Home Depot when we need a hardware store - I checked out some of their prices, they had cheaper aerosol appliance paint at Ace than I bought at Home Depot.And if we order on the internet to get discounts, pick up at store, use coupons and rewards - it's not more expensive on everyday hardware needs.Overall, all entities of their businesses aregood folks & employees. somebody always asks if you need help.Take out is decent also. They keep replenishing their ready-made food- don't cook a bunch in the morning and let it rot all dayThe Ice cream is awesome!- their prices are actually in line with kenai and soldotna. I buy the same products at the same price at their store in kenai.There's not much you're going to need that you can't get at their grocery store, hardware store and gas station.And they're one of the important community bulletin boards if you need local services, classifieds, stuff for sale or something to do.I try to never leave Three bears without my Jo-Jo's for the ride home.

Great store and pleasant staff.Only two issues: (1). I would like to see the price of an item affixed to each individual item or the to the shelves in a larger style print so us Seniors have no trouble reading them; and(2). I would like to see the torn, ripped, and frayed US Flag replaced on the front of the store. Just believe you can do better on these two things!Thanks again!

it's nice and clean. one of the younger gentlemen up front in the evening does make you feel like you dont know how to pour a cup of coffee or how to ask for a restroom key as he makes fun or mocks you. everything else was clean and inviting.

Friendly people every time I've been there. Some prices are a bit high considering they're supposed to be a warehouse store, but since they are small and in a small area, that's probably why. But a great place to stop for snacks.

This is a favorite stop of mine when I'm driving to/from Soldotna. It's the perfect halfway point to get out, stretch my legs, grab a bite to eat/drink/snacks, and fuel up. I always look forward to seeing the cashier and other team members because they are always smiling and seem genuinely happy. This is by far one of the favorite parts of stopping by and I always leave smiling! Thank you Three Bears Team!

Overall its a cute little store but the customer service could use improvement and better hours.why not have more open hours in the winter for the locals since it is really the only grocery story. Closing down at 10pm, oh and let's not forget educate employees on coupons.

A great store since Three Bears took over. Costco products up front and beer growler refills in the back. Decent produce and selection. And the prices are reasonable for a small place far away from distributors.

The people here are something else. The bald man gave the weirdest interaction I've had in a while. Maybe it's something in the water here or the winters. I'd also be upset if I was a cashier at the gas station.

Have gone to the general store for the last 25 years and ever since the new ownership the stock has dwindled. Yes, having a large meat selection is nice but what about lunch meats, crackers, fruit snacks, Alka seltzer???? I have struggled to get these basic items the last dozen or so times going there. It's very disappointing. I have never had this difficulty before.

It is absolutely what it's name implies.....GENERAL!TOP RANKING and plenty of very informed and nice staff!Hardware to beans to cookies and flour.....ready hot to eats and big selection of wash it all down drinks of all kinds!As good a stock of supplies as any and much more than most.... outside the bigger population centers!Truly a great asset for Ninilchick and area residents all year round.
