I had the most enchanting wedding experience at Trail Lake Lodge! From the picturesque surroundings to the impeccable service, every aspect was absolutely perfect. The lodge's rustic charm added a touch of elegance to our special day, and the stunning views of the lake provided a breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was flawlessly executed, from the delicious catering to the seamless coordination of events. Our guests were equally impressed by the warm hospitality and cozy atmosphere. Trail Lake Lodge exceeded all expectations and gave us memories to cherish forever. If you're dreaming of a magical wedding, this is the place to make those dreams come true!Food & drinks: Amazing lunch they had some great vegan options. Breakfast was a very limited menu and they ran out of food fast, but overall we had a great experience.

Don't miss your opportunity to stop over at Trail Lake Lodge when you come through Moose Pass, AK! They have clean, affordable lodging and the best bacon, egg and potato breakfast burritos around. Or choose from the yummy blueberry crumble coffee cake and giant homemade cinnamon rolls to go as you head out on your day's adventures. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Be sure to take a photo out back of the stunning, beautiful views and of the float planes as they take off and land on Trail Lake.

This restaurant on the Seward Highway defies most lodge food and has truly amazing hamburgers and fries. I haven't personally tried anything else on the menu, but all the food smelled great. Although service was a bit slow (you really can't expect fast service at a lodge anyway), everyone was very friendly. I will be stopping here on my way to and from Anchorage to Seward from now on!

We loved sitting outside and watching the float planes. Would recommend the beer garden area be expanded to include views of the lake.Remember that the speed limit is 35 in Moose Pass and if you are speeding, you will get a ticket. 😊

I had some caesar salad, iced tea and, brownie bear Sunday. The tea and salad were refreshing and not huge overbearing portions which I apreciated. The salad also had perfect ratio of croutons, parmeson cheese, Romain lettuce and dressing. Portions leave you perfectly satisfied. Service was great and the vibe inside the restaurant is very cozy and homey. My favorite part was the cute taxidermy bear. Adds a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone who's driving through moose pass on the way to seward or Homer looking for a more community oriented, rural, off the grid dining experience.Walkability: Very walkable, super easy to get around.

Just remember to keep your gas tank full.Kathleen came to our rescue with access to a gas can w/ gas. She showed us around the property and beautiful views. In addition, she told us about other places to go for Great Fudge, Great Scones, and Sea Life Center in Seward. We have found so many happy and helpful people in Alaska.

We stopped by for lunch. The place was clean and the food was pretty good. Their wings were the best thing we ordered! Service was nice albeit a little slow.

Very poor experience, unfortunately. The prices are way too high for the quality of food you get (we ordered the fish and chips and a burger). Our server didn’t come by refill our drinks till we were done eating, and they had run dry long before that. When trying to pay for our bill, we waited for 15 minutes for them to collect our card from our table. Since no one came around, we had to go find them and found the girls taking shots with other customers as we were standing at the bar waiting to be acknowledged so we could pay and leave. We were there for an hour and forty- five minutes and most of that time was spent waiting.

Great burgers!! The fries were crispy are fresh. The service was fast and super friendly. We had local beers with our burger, Alaska White and Double Shovel forget me hopped cider. Definitely would recommend!

I came for meals maybe five times over a few days while learning to fly seaplanes next door. This place is truly the epitome of hospitality. All the staff is phenomenally nice and the food (and the best diner coffee I’ve had anywhere) is great too. They even called in their baker to make an extra sheet of cinnamon rolls for my group on her day off.I just wish they were open later so I could chill longer in the evenings. If only I could have these folks at my dinner table every night.

This place has a great location and our room was clean. However I didn't realize they were putting us in a small building across the street. Not a huge deal however the walls were thin and we had people partying on the deck till 3 am. Also the fact that they don't open till 9 am is not the most convenient since we had tours and wanted to get out and hike. We did make it back in time for a beer one night which they had a decent selection but we never got to try the food. But for the location and price I would probably stay here again.

I had the Brussel sprouts and a beer at the restaurant. That was good and the staff was very friendly. I do wish the restaurant had a steak option. The room was way too basic for the price. In this day and age every room should have an hdtv with a Roku or Apple TV and every room should have wifi. The twin bed was almost like sleeping on a 2 x 12. I could easily hear the neighbor snoring. So the restaurant/bar is fine for what it is. The rooms are like staying at the guest room at your great grandmothers in 1987.

My wife and I booked the hotel as a pass through stop on our way to seward. The rooms are rustic, but they are comfortable and have what you need. No frills, but beautiful surroundings, and the restaurant is incredibly good. Not only that, but we were running low on gas, and the staff all helped us with that. This place is run by great people that have great kindness. Everyone was extremely friendly, and I couldn’t be more grateful to them for their generosity. Special thanks to JD, and our waitress Amy. When we make it back to Alaska one day, we will come back.

Best burger in Alaska!Stopped by, on the way back to Anchorage.This little place by the road side, is straight out a nice piece of Americana.Emily was terrific! She suggested their Texas burger and Oh my!!! It was AMAZING!Glad to have stopped over.This is a must for anyone looking for great flavors with nice service.

Good food especially after a long day outside. Grubstake burger is packed with protein and is delicious. The onion rings are fantastic.Also stayed at the Lodge and did find the rooms small/outdated. Seems like they could use a bit of deep cleaning/vacuuming, but all around a decent stay.

I stayed here briefly while on my way to visit Seward. The lodging was basic for just what a budget traveler needs, internet unfortunately never really worked for me but the staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond. I had a horrible migraine and was traveling alone and they even let me check out late so I could lay down abit before hitting the road. It was so appreciated and made all the difference between a salvaged great day and horrible flareup one. Thanks. Views were beautiful and I truly enjoyed my time in Moose Pass and would definitely stay again. Disappointed I didn't get to eat at the restaurant though cause I heard great things from EVERYONE about it! They had a band playing one night for everyone, alot of fun.Parking: Free parking onsite

We had a light dinner, and split a fish and chips. It was very good. The fries especially good--sea salt and not greasy.Our waitress, Kristi, was was efficient and delightful. She did an excellent job for her second day on the job.
