When you first get here from thw lower 48 everything seems so incredibly highly priced, but you quickly start getting used to the prices. A good tip is to visit weekly and wait for "specials" on certain items. Overall a good place to get food you can't get from Amazon Prime.

The one stop shop for Kotzebue. Visitors will am have sticker shock as prices are expensive... But it is relative and appropriate for the area. Staff seem helpful.

Had a nice experience checking out. The cashier was pleasant. Prices are definitely higher here than more easily accessible towns in Alaska, as is to be expected. They have a good selection and variety though.

Everything in the winter is flow in. They stay pretty well stocked, but occasionally not. Their prices are about triple that of the lower 48 states. A 12 pack of soda is over $14. A case of water in Kotzebue runs 29 to 59, which is less than 6 in lower 48. Needless to say, it's very expensive.

Costmer derive is amazing. But the prices are way over rated. Like come on $70 for diapers. Like come on theres a pandemic going on why make it over priced. Please someone help this village out with over priced essentials. This is crazy.

The only store in town with everything you need. Second floor has electronics, clothing, bedding, etc., bottom floor has groceries and non-edibles, cleaning products, etc. Out of towners will find sticker shock at the prices, but they have to know that everything here comes in by airplane--it's an island. Some needful things are just a little higher than normal, like candy bars, aspirin, shampoo, etc., while produce is very high and dairy products, too.

There is no other place like it in the Kotzebue area. They carry just about anything you need. They are a full service store with no competition. For being as remote as.they are, the prices are not too outlandishly extreme. The staff are quite friendly and courteous.

One of two stores in town and generally good prices for Kotz. Fresh veggies are hard to get in the Arctic so small selection. Nice people.

It has pretty much everything you would need some things are a very good bargain some things are 4-5 times more expensive than the lower 48 and other parts of alaska if you live here gettin g things you want immediately it’s amazing but most people just fly and get there own food it’s reasonable for having to be flown in.

They gouge prices in Kotzebue! Prices have gone up consistantly for ten years now.There is no reason to go up in price but to collect higher profits at the expence of local shoppers.

It was my first time to Alaska. From Atlanta to Kotzebou. Flight was well scheduled layover was two hours each in Seattle and Anchorage. Was very smooth flight and good crew with good services. Thanks to Alaska airline workers.

Really expensive (more so than Kauai). Not bad if it's your last/only option, but waaaay cheaper to bring food in check baggage.
