Charging by inbound weight is a scam. They have no incentive to do a good job filleting your fish. I brought in some nice plump salmon, and got back some thin fillets. Go somewhere else that charges by outbound weight instead :)

Excellent service. The smokehouse processed two blacktail deer for us. It was done a week ahead of schedule. Fair prices. The pan sausage (Wild Game, Norwegian) were delicious. Great flavor! I've also purchased many dips and fish from them, all excellent. Highly recommend! Thank you for providing this service to Kodiak.

Was very impressed by the variety & abundance of gourmet treats from the sea at Kodiak Island Smokehouse today! They had tons of product, nicely displayed, and at great prices! I needed 8-10 full filets of smoked coho on the fly for a catering event and was delighted to find that they had what I needed, and the quality was spot on! Will certainly be back to try some of the other treats I spied in the cooler, like their salmon breakfast sausage!

Kodiak Island Smoke house has a storefront that offers top quality smoked fish, as well as fish and game processing. They also have a gift shop with a great selection of different items, including some of which are made here in Alaska. I have not had personal experience with the fish and game processing, but I have heard nothing but positive comments in the community.I have been frequenting K.I.S. more and more because of the smoked sockeye and keta salmon, and I just found out I like the Smoked Black Cod very much as well. The Smoked Halibut Dilly Dip is also a great product, it's truly delicious and unique.Kodiak Island Smokehouse also has different types and flavors of seafood sausages, patties, dips, etc. Different types of smoked and frozen Halibut, Cod, and King, Sockeye, Coho, and Keta Salmon, and Shellfish are also available.The customer service at Kodiak Island Smokehouse is great. I enjoy talking to the owners and employees, they make great recommendations, and they put up with me even though I talk too much. Drop by Kodiak Island Smokehouse and check them out, you're going to enjoy the taste of Alaska!

I love love love the smoked cod! Its so moist and falvorful. The salmon of course is also amazing. The flavors are nothing like I have ever experienced before. I'm ordering my next shipment and cannot wait for it to come in! I swear I could live off of this fish for the rest of my life.

DO NOT ORDER SALMON ONLINE FROM THESE @$%#?@. Substituted without asking, then stated it was a superior fish and really I had no choice. Look at the desriptions, order then wonder what you wil get, they mystery boxes, regardlewss of what you order. I did get the smoked salmon, but it may have been smoked after it was salted , more like salt , than fish.

AMAZING PEOPLE and AMAZING PRODUCTS. We had 4 Sitka deer and 150# of fish for processing....all spread out over two weeks and with different outfitters. They were able to help out so much with logistics and really saved us a ton of money and stress. Lyle and Jamie are great people, and they bent over back words to make our trip a success. Cant wait to get back to Kodiak to use them again...do yourself a favor, be it fish or game...get it to the smokehouse and let them help. Just wish I bought a t-shirt before I left...lol...USE KODIAK ISLAND SMOKEHOUSE or you will regret it! - Chris from AZ

OMG!!! The salmon patties and brats are amazing!!! Perfectly spiced and perfect proportions. My life has become easier now that I dont have to chop and prepare. It’s all been done for me. All I have to do is heat and serve with a side dish or veggie. Also, the smoked salmon is terrific on my charcuterie board. Thank YOU!!!!❤️👍🏽💃🏽
