Located along the pier where a cruise ship is docked. It's a recommended place if you're looking for something to take back home. A true one stop shop.

I took a cruise to Alaska two weeks ago and one of the ports we stopped in was Ketchikan. I went to Sockeye Sam's to purchase some sweat jackets for my family. One size I needed was a 3XL but I thought there was one on the rack when I grabbed the others but I missed getting it. When I got home, I tried calling several times, but no one answers the phone. I left a voicemail message, and no one has called me back. I also sent an email to them on 7/26, but no one has responded. While the jackets are great and I'm happy I purchased them, I am very disappointed in the poor level of professional communication provided by the management in this store. I would love to purchase that 3XL jacket, and I am willing to pay to have it shipped. I have one son that unfortunately won't be able to get a matching jacket because they are unable/unwilling to email me back. I am in Arizona, and won't be able to get all the way back to Ketchikan. This is soooo disappointing!!

I walked in, and was immediatelya happy camper. Nice looking jacket for the 🌧 rainy cold day. I was missing one layer .price was incredible,.Great store ,clean and organized. My wife purchased a few things plus the jacket.#JUSTHAVINGFUN

Awesome little store. I saw they were right beside where our cruise ship was so I went in and asked what time they were open till, they told me until the cruise ship leaves. I stopped here right before going back onto the ship. They have a nice selection of just about everything. Quite a few things that are local too. As we were pulling away from the port, I took a look at the store and they were just shutting down the store.

Check your receipt - items added to mine that I didn’t have. Fortunately I checked before I left the store and they refunded me, but I felt it was a common practice rather than a mistake.

Awesome place to get stuff at! Sockeye Sam's carries items that I did not see at other shops in the area! They are extremely reasonable to have your purchases shipped out/home! I paid $20 for a box of the items I purchased to be shipped home (to California)! I asked in other stores, that did shipping too for purchases, and was very shocked at the prices! $49.99 couldn't believe it! The items in Sockeye Sam's are really good quality and very reasonable in price! The staff are really customer oriented and making sure to give help when needed or asked for! I highly recommend this shop as a MUST SEE/GO TO place!!!

The prices are really good here - much better, honestly, than the ones at the nearby "Trading Post," which we were told to go to first. Sockeye Sam's has more authentic pieces and products, many locally-sourced, and the staff are all so very helpful and kind. (Loved the lotions made in the surrounding areas!!) I was able to find neat gift items and not break the bank. It is also a well-lit and well-spaced store, so that was a plus. If we ever return, Sockeye Sam's will be first on our Ketchikan list!

Staff was the BEST! We had all our purchases shipped home, so we didn't have to walk around with it in Ketchikan and pack everything in our luggage on the cruise ship. Helpful! Friendly! Accommodating! Couldn't ask for anything more!! Thank you ALL!!

Bought this lucite whale sculpture while on a cruise. The gentleman at the shop was wonderful helping me conceal the purchase and set it up for shipping to my home as a figgy for my fellow traveler. I still love that sculpture.

This store has great souvenirs, lots of choices. Right off the pier from the boat, with a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and polite. They made the experience that much better. Can't wait to come back and visit someday

Visited on a cruise last week , my wife picked out an antler carving that I didn't think would survive the trip home , it did , the owner wrapped it himself and was a great.dude to exchange hunting stories with, a class act all the way ,go see this place
