Saw glue traps today. Checked my flour and there's a hole in the bag, and a piece of tape over the hole. Will be returning the flour tomorrow.Update. Manager was kind. Returned my money and gave me a new bag without a hole. He said the traps were for voles.

Decent discount grocery store with very friendly & helpful staff. Prices vary with sales. No silly club membership, complicated rewards cards, just straight sales. They get what they get & move along what's expiring. Low overhead, not fancy - good meat prices. Great place to stock up. Always get my jo-jo's on the way out. Exceptional service. They like happy customers.

Great selection!! Watch the dairy case expiration dates.... has a small Russian section... Very good prices on certain items while other items may be a lil more expensive.... Definitely worth checking out iff'n you are doing a quick in and out trip to the store since all of the other stores are nowhere near as easy to run in, grab an item or two and run back out.

The employees are friendly and helpful. They're new bulk foods are an amazing value. I rarely have to wait in a checkout line for more than 5 minutes. The produce and meat department is fantastic. 5 stars!

I love this place. They have the best fruit/vegetable section and the highest quality meat selections available on the peninsula. The service is amazing and very helpful, store always clean and tidy. They are always restocking so you know its fresh. The deli has a special of the day which is always good. Great store to shop, even has a liquor store. So everything you might need.

I went in the day before Thanksgiving and picked up a few grocery supplies and really dug the discounted produce and still enjoying and stocked up on a few other Staples had to pay out of pocket which hurts my purse for my limited income but that's not the grocery store but LOL

I love all the good deals they have for sure we totally recommend them for shopping some things are a little more expensive than others but they have good deals on meat and other products some days when other big name companies don't.

The meat prices are good IF you take advantage of the two for one deals and buy in bulk. BUT, I found many of said prices can be beat at three bears and even Safeway and Fred Meyer if you watch the sales- and you don't have to buy in bulk and repackage etc.But, aside from the meat, the rest leaves something to be desired. Prices elsewhere just weren't very good. The produce was generally wilted and the customer service was nonexistent. The cashier kind of looked angry to have to check people out.it was too bad. They could really make it a good place with just a few positive changes.

Their meats are about pitiful and everything is cheaper at Fred Myers or Walmart. Only reason I gave them two star was because the cashier was so friendly.

Always low priced. Shop the specials you will do great. We drive up from Homer and are always grateful we did. The staff will work with you and grind your meat fresh while you shop. Cant get service like this anymore.

Great local grocery store where you can find most anything you want. You'll pay a bit more for non-food items, but this place has the best meat prices in town by far. Bonus: they have a well stocked liquor store with a decent wine selection.

It's a small store, but they're known for their meat department, which has the absolute best prices and selection on the entire Kenai Peninsula. They actually supply all of the Westside Cook Inlet oilfields, and platforms. The produce department is excellent as well. The store can be a bit pricey on canned and prepared items, but they also have a lot of sales. I highly recommend this place.

My favorite hometown grocery store. Always great buys on meat. My favorite bulk coffee . It is not my one stop shop for everything but it is my favorite for my staple food items. It is locally owned and The staff is super nice.

Grew up from 8 on working grocery. First a weekend sack boy. Then stock boy and behind the meat counter learning meat cutting.This store was a virtual time machine! Produce department was amazing with great variety and fresh products.Shelves were stocked and faced up. Clean and just fun walking the isles open and easy to pass others also shopping.Staff was busy continueing merchandising the floor and ever available for any need or question.A must if you were ever to need to feed....!

The food is awesome!In between great deals on seasonal things (like hotdogs and marshmallows for camping, or 4th of July/Christmas decorations) there is also some pretty grand food discounts like the buy one get one free chicken packs or pork cutlets and even steaks!The deli is pretty good too if you want a quick bite to eat while you shop around, and they have such a massive selection of beverages, from powdered things like koolaid or crystal light, to bottled sodas like Sprite or Big k for frugal spenders like me. For 20 bucks I got enough meat to last me for a month, and the rice was great too!This is my go-to store for anything related to food because of all the great deals and good quality.

Always excellent customer service both in the grocery and liquor stores. Plus I can take my dog in, he's a chihuahua/min pin, so he rides on my shoulder. Everyone who helps us jus love him. Especially that guy in the liquor store. He's a dog person too. So he plays with the dogs while we shop.

I prefer Country Foods over any other because the meats are very good along with a good price. The dairy products are with a date that allows time to use before expiring. I am a senior on a limited income. Your prices and quality I can depend on. Thanks

This is one of the better places to buy your meat, especially if you prefer to buy in bulk. They offer a BOGO FREE on a good selection of meats which then reduces the price per pound. I shop here mostly for meat. Their produce isnt the best, but sometime it is worth thw price. They usually do have a good selection of produce in their clearance bin which is good for those bargain shoppers. Sometimes you can find a good deal on their store brand items which are comparable to name brand items, it just depends on what you are looking for. It is always a good idea to stop here amd check out their sales because they always have a lot of items on sale. I dont shop here often but when I do I feel like I am getting a good deal which is what I strive for when grocery shopping.

Great prices! Some times a gallon of milk is 99 cents and if your household is more than 3 than it prolly doesnt matter if it expires in 2 or 3 days since it might only last a day anyway.
