Great Local Mercantile!((This is reviewed by my wife. ))They have a Large grocery section. Delicious Fresh local eggs. Fishing licenses. Fresh baked goods.Huge cinnamon rolls. Tillamook cheese.Blue rhino exchange.Water available for jugs for camping. (Ask for hose inside)Prices are fair for the convenience.Employees are friendly and helpful.Get your picture taken by the giant mosquito! Or in the enormous porch swing! A+

Well stocked convenient store but the little restaurant on site, Rocky's Cafe, has great food! Every meal I've had here has been great, from the Ruben sandwich to the seafood fettuccine to the cod fish and chips.....really great food! And the sides are just as good!!! I had the carrot cake... omg, the very best I've ever had...really!

The general store is great, lots of variety. Even a kombucha tap and plenty of alaskan based books. The ice cream is great. The breakfast was ok, but lunch/ dinner were delicious.

The store was redone on the inside last summer. The best part is the new ownership of the restaurant with a menu finally suited for a hungry person. Very good menu that is exceptionally tasty.

The worst pork pulled sandwiches I've ever had if you're going to charge that much for a sandwich at least put some meat on the bun and don't put them nasty pickles on it. Years ago it was a great place to go eat not any more!

Ordered $80 worth of food to go. Lettuce in salads was brown and old, something I wouldn't serve to the chickens at home. Greasy fries. Dry bread.... If I had a way to return I would have taken it all back. Was in process of moving so I fed my helpers. Not much was eaten.

Picked up a few things the other day. Convenient place for us to get in and out of. Rocky's Cafe is really good. Food is reasonably priced and service is the best in the area. We will be back.

Stopped for a coffee on our way to Homer. Attendant said she didn’t know if she had one open when I asked for soy milk. She then asked us to wait while she waited on local customers. 1 star seems generous!

I’m happy to have an alternative to driving 25 minuets to the supermarkets in Soldotna. Although prices are steep, it’s expected in a rural area where they are providing a service to our community. The staff is always helpful. And the vast amount of items that they carry are surprising! From candy bars and renal videos to quality dog foods and home improvement items, as well as frozen foods, baking items, fishing gear, medicines and Starving Marvin’s pizzas. They’ll even make you an espresso or white chocolate mocha as ordered if you wish. In Rocky’s Cafe the food is good. I’ve been happy with everything except taking home eggs Benedict as a pick up order. Something was off with the sauce. But that could have been because eggs Benedict should be eaten when served and not as a to-go. Overall, I’m happy that we have our little Kasilof Mercantile!

Delicious French toast with two eggs made perfectly over medium and scrumptious bacon. It was not hot off grill by the time it was served, but yummy still there same. Server was very friendly.

Nice little convenience store in a small town, that carries a wide selection of items, and then some. Helpful and friendly staff. They have a coffee shop and a café too. Sell ice, firewood, fishing licenses, etc...all of your convenience needs in one place.

Iv been going to the Merc since i was little. Its changed over the years but has always been our only spot to get groceries without going to town. The staff are always friendly and the options have kept growing. From local raised eggs to your tobacco needs. The Merc pretty much has it all, except gas and alcohol.You go to Joes for that.. The Merc also has movie rentals, tackle, ice cream and if your wanting some hot diner food, its right there as well.

Prices are high and on several occasions I have seen the owner talk to customers and a delivery driver like they were dirt. I personally dont intend to give that guy (whos sense of humanity sucks)my business. I could not believe the the way that man talks to people somtimes
