Kacey and her team take really good care of me and my pack. There are 3 of us. The facility is lovely and very clean, we get great attention, and all the drop off and pick up stuff accommodates my mom's travel and work schedule. No place like home....but I would not stay anywhere else!

New to town and had a family function we had to attend. Made an appointment to take our dog Max a Beagle mix to be boarded for a few days. It was easy to find and The kennels were clean, dogs had room to play and when we picked him up he was clean and his bedding was clean. He was happy and healthy. Animals were all happy and got along. We couldn’t be happier with this kennel. Thank you all at Coopers Wounded Bear Kennels for taking great care of my Sweet baby Max..

Kacey was a life saver with my rescue. When I first got him a year ago he'd been in the pound for 7 months, didn't like any other animals, had no recal and forget walking him on a leash. Now we enjoy dog parks, hiking together, playing on the beach, and he even gets to come to work with me somedays. All thanks to Kacey and her team at wounded bear farm.

I wouldn't take our dog anywhere else! Our dog is one of the family, so when we leave town there isn't a better place for her to go. We have been taking our dog there for over 8 years now, sometimes just for a extended weekend trip, or for longer 2 week vacations. Our black lab Sadie absolutely loves going there and it is such a relief knowing that while we are gone that she is extremely well kept for, happy, gets exercise, has fun, and is safe. The cleanest, best kept dog kennel I've ever been to. Her kennel is huge where Sadie sleeps, so she isn't packed in there or cramped, and it is so nice that Sadie can be outside for a long time to run, play, socialize and not be kept inside all day. Sadie has so much fun when she is at the kennel. I don't think that many dogs are actually excited to leave their owner, but Sadie is when we get there. Kasey is a very nice and caring lady who takes such good care of all the dogs and truly cares for each one of them at her kennel. I can't say enough about Kasey, her care, and her kennel. Highly recommend and if anyone is looking for a clean, happy and safe place for your dog to stay while you are gone, this is the right kennel and give Kasey a call.

This kennel is top notch. If you are looking for a place that is caring, professional, clean, and friendly, this is the place for your 4 legged friend! The kennels are good size and comfortable. They learn the personality of your dog and let them play together in the big closed in yards. No fights here. They have indoor and outdoor kennels. The dogs are happy, healthy, energetic, and tired at the end of the day from all the interaction they receive. I have used Cooper's since she opened up over 30 years ago. I've used them for long term as well as short term boarding. When my dog needed specialized care, there was no hesitation. In my opinion, there is no better place to care for my third "child."

I love doing fishing charters on the Kasilof or Kenai rivers, but I hate having to leave my dogs at home for overnight camping trips just because I have a charter booked. Coopers Wounded Bear Farm & Kennel is a great solution! I can drop the dogs off (with food and medications) and pick them up whenever we get back on land. I've dropped the dogs off in the middle of the night so I could be on the river at 3 AM, and picked them up 14 hours later.The owner gave me a lot of dog training trips for my puppy who was out of control, and every time our dogs stayed here, they came home exhausted from playing with their dog friends.Even with a last minute booking, I had no problem getting my dogs set up. It is so convenient, and I'm really glad this place is here. I love that I can take my dogs camping and know that they are safe while I'm fishing.

The best kennel I have ever used! This is the only kennel my dogs did not come home sick or with fleas! Every other kennel I have taken them to, it was a battle getting them through the door - not here - no problem. Kacey is also wonderful with disciplining the dogs if needed! Love Coopers Wounded Bear Farm and Kennel!

We have been taking our two dogs to Kacey for years now, and recently we did an extended vacation and were worried how they would be without us for so long. The dogs were happy as clams and were well cared for. We have checked into it and her rates are also competitive to other kennels. We will use Wounded Bear as long as we have dogs!

It's been many years since Zippy our little heeler cross has started taking her vacations at Wounded Bear and want to give Kacey and all the crew a big thank you for always making her stays special! Zippy is always so well cared for and is happy to take a break from us and always healthy and happy on our return! Thanks for creating such a safe, healthy and fun retreat for our little friend!

My pup Sadie would leap out of the front seat of the truck into Kacey's arms when we went to Cooper's Wounded Bear Kennel. Now, five years later, Sadie races her brother Ajax to the Kennel door, they love it so much. It is clear, warm, and friendly with other pups to socialize with and different yards to play in throughout the day. "CWBF is our home away from home when mom has to be away."

We had our two German Shepard’s stay at the wounded Bear kennel . I thought the staff was very pleasant and the owners were very friendly welcoming our pets . Clean facility. I will definitely take my pets there again. Thank you 😊
