Although one of our kids was upset there weren’t any animals at this location; I want to commend this location for their selflessness when it comes to the safety of the animals. They stopped carrying animals due to the fact there isn’t a local vet for animals to go to when sick.

Most of my visits have been positive in the store as staff are very helpful and looking to help me get the most of my memberships especially I have the vital core premium for fish. I buy regularly from the store for both fresh water and saltwater fish and supplies, dog food and supplies, cat supplies as well as bird food and supplies for my parrots. Most staff have been helpful at the Juneau, Alaska store except Jaz who changes the rules about fish returns even though I buy plenty of fish and supplies and have had an ocasional fish die, most of my fish are doing well. Most recently the salt water selection care has been lacking and so I won’t be getting fish until there is better care. However the fresh water fish care seems to have gotten better and am grateful for that. Other than the one customer service that isn’t friendly or helpful, all others are and I tend to enjoy going there.

Is a great company. Sadly the website always lies about how many things are in stock so we never get any of what we need. It's also sad when you don't get anything that you need and you have to wait 10 to 12 days just to get a refund back. They really need to compensate customers for all the problems that their app causes and how much issues it causes other people when they can't get their products. I just wish they were able to make it so that your money would come back to you faster.

Love our Petco, love that they price match and how friendly everyone is.My male cat Snow ❄️ frequently has UTI's and we learned that they had medication drops that we just put 5 drops in his water a few times a day and it clears up! First time he showed symptoms of a UTI we went to the vet and it was $400, which is understandable with how needed they are but we learned what to do next and skipped the vet:)Some tips we did that worked well for our cat with his UTI:*Put him in a Lg. kennel with puppy pee pads on the flooring, water (with UTI medicine) and a dish of food*Covered the kennel with a light sheet to reduce his anxiety and gave him cat CBD treats*Waited out till he stopped having uncontrollable spraying (a symptom of UTI in cats) took roughly 2 days.. (frequently changing puppy pads)*Bathed after done with his spraying and he felt so much better and was a happy cat again♥️🐈

We were helped with questions about dog food availability and orders. Since a larger size bag was unavailable the associate I spoke with was able to give me the same price/lb rate of the big bags on a smaller bag which I was not expecting.

Juneau Petco pretty nice for a box store pet store. Wish they could get the grooming going again and get a vet office in there. Things seem to be more in stock lately.

I feel like the prices, even for Alaska, are quite high. I do love the groomers who have such a great report with my dog. I wish there were more groomers, as it is hard to get an appointment (or you may get some service but there is not enough time for everything you want to order). The fact that the groomers make my dog happy is why I keep coming back to them!

Excellent! The staff know their stuff about animals. The manager is A-1. They don't have the food I usually use, which made me question that food because they have everything else and they're professionals.They have birds! Caged birds in Alaska are the only ones I'd recommend because you wouldn't want a little parakete flying around to be eaten by an eagle. My dog is eagle bait here and the Ravens are the biggest I've ever seen.

It's a normal Petco. The people are nice, they have lots of things for pets and their prices are ridiculous. But, if you're in Juneau, you kind of expect ridiculous prices.

I went as they were closing. I had just adopted 2 kittens and needed food for them. The lady was about to lock the door but she let me in and helped me quickly find kitten food, litter and a litter box. She went the extra mile and let me pick out a toy for my new fur babies. Thank you so much to the lady who helped me on the night of January 11th. My kittens love everything and I am very grateful for all your help (didn't want to post her name publicly).

I needed flea meds for three dogs and two cats, and since I was there I got some toys for the dogs and cats for Christmas. When at the counter I was told they had lost the key to access the meds, there was (I don't if anyone has seen the prices on these things and here in JNU I'm sure they are doubled) easily $240.00 worth of flea meds, and with the other toys I was about to spend $300+. The register attendant then acting surprised that I wasn't getting any of it. I need the flea meds I can get toys that the dogs and cats destroy anywhere. There is a big "Buy Local" but when the store doesn't know how to use a phone to call a locksmith? Lost the key... please... that is the worst excuse I have heard in a while, never shopping there again, thanks Petco for making Amazon our only choice.

I had come in on the ferry from Bellingham and we stopped in Juneau for some time. Our dog was so sick on the ferry because he didn’t have his usual food with him. I was able to order his food from Petco and the general manager was super kind and had my food delivered to the pier where we were docked since we could not leave. If I’m ever in Juneau again, I’m stopping here for any pet supplies. 10/10 would shop here again!!!

Juneau Petco has what we need most of the time. Most of the staff are great but understaffed often. The store needs to be brought up to be like the other stores elsewhere. Need new stuff more often and definitely needs to expand on the variety of Cichlids they carry.

every one there is always smiling and helpful and so good to Jeremiah when we go there the one I been to the most has been the one in Juneua Alaska and they made us feel so welcomed I can not wait to go back to Ga and use them there as well. The groomer has been amazing as well thank you all.

Petco allows pets in the store so we brought our 2 year old viszla in so that she could pick out her own birthday present. I only wish the isles we wider. The staff are always courteous, professional and pleasant. Petco seems to always have a wide variety of pet supplies available and high quality dog food.

I love taking "Max" there. He gets so excited pulling up to the store. He is just fascinated with ferrets. Ears perk up and he starts wiggling in a playful manner when we walk down the aisle towards them. Too cute!!

Petco has a large variety of pet accessories all the way from flea collars,flea dip,to toys and also food. The staff that works there, is very helpful and knowledgeable. Customer service is very good also. My cat loves his toys.

I called earlier today at 12:54 pm to ask if the store is actually open and not just for pick up because of COVID-19 because I need to shop around quite a lot of things for my puppy, the lady who answered the phone was very rude and obviously has very lack of training. She talked to me on the phone very strongly and when I was asking her my questions she was like "Excuse me?" with a rude tone and after I repeated my questions, she immediately answered rudely and told me that I could go ahead inside the store and talk to myself and also said "Bye now" very rudely.

Just paid for a new puppy from a breeder, got to wait another 5 weeks before I can pick him or her up, right before christmas, heck of a present for myself! Shopping at petco allows me to get everything I will need for the puppy and keep it local. There were some things out of stock on the shelf when I went, but there was at least 2 separate litters born from different owners the same month, so it was more likely just not restocked while I was there that weekend. But I plan to go back again this weekend to hopefully find less empty shelves. Just puppy things were diminished, so I am practically certain that was the aforementioned reason.

The casher isn't friendly at all she always is.. She act like it's an inconvenience to do anything never smiles and rolls her eyes when spoken to. I have shopped there for years and she is always that way. I do my best not to even walk by her let alone ask for anything..
