Purchased a full set of tires November 2022, during which I had a membership. Last week I visited to utilize the services that come with the purchase and installation of a new set of tires (known as the “Lifetime Maintenance Services”) and was denied because my membership isn’t active anymore.So, fair warning to anyone who purchases tires here: You, apparently, need a subscription to utilize the “lifetime services” they say they provide with the purchase.On a lighter note, the chicken bake was my favorite thing to get, and was a good highlight to any Costco visit. Too bad I probably won’t be going back now.

I decided to visit the world's smallest Costco (it's about half the size of a standard Costco) while in Juneau to see what kind of local things they carried. Found some deck boots and sausage with reindeer meat added but that was about it. Their food court was a one-man operation with NO PIZZA but at least they still gave out samples.

oreos birthday was really fun! i got at least 3 slices of cheese pizza and i was hoping for more but apparently oreo ate it all... its okay tho its his bd at the end...

Nice “tiny” Costco with amazing glacier and mountain views! Some items are unbelievable cheap compared with Canadian Costco or mainland US

Didn’t know until after I visited that this is the smallest Costco in the world, but after seeing it, it isn’t too surprising. This thing is tiny! Super cool to see a different layout though.

The new door person is rude and disrespectful to customers. His name is Darren makes you not want to come back. Not everyone is made for the front of the house, and he is a disappointment compared to the standard set by the other employees who have had that position.

I went to Costco for the optician services. They are awesome. She helped me find a nice pair of frames and then went over all of my options. The price was great and the service was amazing.My new glasses needed an adjustment and they quickly fixed the problem. Service here is awesome and the selection is great and affordable. I will definitely get my next pair here.

World's smallest Costco! Yeah, a larger Costco would be ideal, but we're a tiny town so a quirky mini Costco is just fine for my needs. Costco girlie for life.

The best warehouse that I have visited in all the U.S. locations. Did you know this is the smallest warehouse in all the world. Only about 71,000 sqft. That's why you won't find a lot of other items from other Costco's, but what they lack in skus they make up for excellent member service and small town feel.

It's in the Guinness book of world records as being the smallest Costco in the world. I didn't pack the correct clothes for this Alaskan weather. I bought a subzero sweater a pair of shorts a waterproof shirt and a sweatshirt for $70. It is also the cheapest place in Alaska to buy alcohol.

Updated 2023.12.07 Costco Juneau is their smallest store by size. Check and know the prices on items of interest, as it's not always the lowest price. Their milk is higher than at Fred Meyer $4.29 regular, $2.99 sale. Five dozen eggs also higher than at Fred Meyer $11.05. But prices do fluctuate. Costco has cooked king crab legs $29.99/lb, Sockeye wild fresh salmon $11.99/lb.Prepared food ready to cook for those who don't cook or just want something you don't have to prepared. Large pizza, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, Shepherd's Pie, stuffed bell peppers, caesar salad, chicken pot pie. Their meatloaf isn't very good, it's hard to cut into and not particularly tasty, and their mashed potatoes watered down. Free food samples till two hours prior to closing.There's an optical department and an optometrist on site but it's a separate business. Get a prescription and get your eyeglasses or contact lens here. Best prices in town unless you go online, but then what if something goes wrong and you need service.One stop big box, mini food court.

Really good prices, and large variety of items inside. Just make sure to have your own shopping since they dont give one. You might end up carrying all your items by hand.

November 6, 2023Shelves are full, toilet paper $28, I was going to quote more high prices but can't find the receipt. They are all higher, Fred Meyer may cost less, but their shelves are not full.The checker graciously rang up my purchase and put it back in the cart. Something I appreciate.March 5, 2023Stopped at the pharmacy for the pneumonia vaccine. The pharmacist told me two of the local pharmacies have closed and that Fred Meyer no longer accepts Medicare. I'm not sure if Safeway still accepts it, but Costco does.

Everyone who works there has been very pleasant and polite to me. Recently, a woman at the front desk—I think her name is Crystal—was extraordinarily patient while helping me through a membership issue. They’re a very good source for fresh local seafood.

I love this little Costco! I do want to warn people that are redeeming the Costco Citi rewards to cash them out at the customer service desk. I used mine to pay for my items & wanted the remainder in cash, but the cashier didn't have enough in her drawer. Instead of taking the time to get more cash for her drawer, she put the rest on a Costco Shop card, & told me that I can cash it out at the customer service desk. When I asked to cash it out they told me they can't do that, & that the cashier knew it couldn't be redeemed for cash! Long story short Crystal, Justin & another gal (sorry I didn't catch her name), did as much as they could to make it right. I thank them for their quick thinking & devotion to customer service!

Very Disappointed with they don't accept Brightwell as a payement mode, always declined here, an they force to use AtM where brightwell work an we pay extra charges, since they are allowing crew members to purchase from Costco they must think on this point also

Costco is a staple for southeast Alaska. It is annoying when you like a certain product and hope they have it again and they don't. I like the self checkout and the service is timely. It is wheelchair accessible and they accommodate those with special needs.
