I don’t understand the negative reviews on this Amazing company.My dad was gifted this same stuff over 15 years ago and we lost touch on where to find it. Our relatives lived in Alaska but they couldn’t remember where they ordered the “Glass Jarred Salmon”.Well I did some research and finally found you guys! I’m going to surprise him this Christmas with these jars of salmon. Might seem silly to most, but my father is a diabetic and has to choose his snacks strategically . He is going to be over the moon!Package arrived perfect! And surprisingly fast considering I live in Ohio. Great prices and free shipping! This a wonderful gift idea and the prices are excellent considering they aren’t spiked due to shipping cost!Very very very happy with the experience!Thanks Alaska Seafood Company! I’ll be ordering this time again next year!

these folks are great. when last years order of hot smoked salmon was destroyed in shipping they sent out new box immediately.great product and packaging. arrived perfectly and all packages still frozen solid. all crydvaced packages are perfect for keeping frozen until ready to use. its the best price on quality smoked salmon I have found that ships to lower 48. and the only place ive found that sells bulk to individuals

We did not visit the faciity, but we did purchase some of their smoked salmon when we were in Juneau in October, 2021. We got several small 4 oz boxes, planning on using some as a base for a smoked salmon dip or spread that we wanted to serve to guests over the holidays. The other day we decided to try it out and we were very disappointed. Of course 4 ounces is not going to give you a lot of salmon, but as I said, it was only going into a small batch of smoked salmon dip, served with crackers. By the time the skin was removed it was more like 3 ounces of smoked salmon. It was also a bit watery, which I did not expect. My husband and I have had a lot of smoked salmon, but never any that was this sweet. it was WAY too sweet for our taste, and we knew it would not pair well with the other ingredients in my dip recipe. I only smelled it and knew I wouldn't care for it. My husband had a couple bites of it, and the next day he was sick. We decided it would be best not to try serving this to guests, so the other boxes we purchased were thrown away. I am sure our experience was an exception, but it was an experience that fully warrants a poor review.

A friend of ours visited Alaska last week and brought us three 4 oz packages of salmon from Alaska seafood company Inc in Juneau as a gift. We've opened two boxes so far and found it to be smelly and fishy tasting. Lots of fluid in the bag. We ate it with a lot of hot sauce but wouldn't recommend it and certainly wouldn't buy it ourselves.

A friend of mine and I met some friends for a "guys trip" to Alaska in the summer of 2009. On our return, we stopped in Juneau to see the sights. We thought seriously about a fishing trip, but were unable to make that work. We really wanted to bring some Halibut and Salmon back to the lower 48 with us and were directed to the Alaska Seafood Company.What a great find this was! We secured what would probably be considered a small order. It was delicious. Vacuum packed and flash frozen right off the boat.In the years since, we have treated many friends to halibut and salmon and expanded our order to include a few more friends. We have also expanded our personal orders as we find ourselves running out each year and hate to let that happen the next year.The packets are usually 0.5lb to 1.25lb each and take about 10 minutes to thaw under running water in the sink. Then, the rest of the process is easy - cook in such a way as to enjoy the flavor and texture that keeps us calling for a new order each year.Oh, their customer service is great too. Quick shipping and always responsive and accommodating.

Terrible customer service! I ordered a box of salmon to try one late night from their FaceBook ad. I did not realize that this was a "membership" order. I just wanted to try a box. Once it arrived, it wasn't as good as I thought so I didn't reorder. However, they auto shipped another order. When I discovered the charge on my credit card, I immediately called and asked them to delete my account and not ship any more. I never heard back but then a few days later I got an email saying my order would be shipped in the next few days. I again immediately called and asked them NOT to ship and NOT to charge my card. They did both without my consent. I've made several calls and sent several emails, but they ignored my requests and sent anyway.

I had a jar of sockeye salmon that had been soaked. Crazy expensive at the gift shop I bought it from but delicious. When the jar was almost empty I mixed what was left with cream cheese, sour cream and pampered chef 3 onion seasoning and it was to die for!

Best place in town (and beyond) for Fresh Fish, Smoked Fish, Canned Fish, Jarred Fish, Lox, Jerky, Salmon Dip, Salmon Paté, and they even make Pet Treats!!! They ship fast and conveniently to anywhere in the country and many places in the world too!!! A friendly, locally owned (by a veteran) one stop shop for all your fish needs. They also process sport fish in whatever way you would like. Great place, and the owner is super friendly, so is the shipping staff :) I highly reccomend them!!!

My family Easter celebration consisted of 10lbs of colossal king crab legs & 3 lbs of shrimp! What a wonderful gathering! Fantastic customer service when ordering & speedy delivery. Never disappointed.

Lucky to find this place doing a google search looking for an option for fresh fish to be shipped directly to my house. The fish arrived individually sealed allowing for easy thawing and it is seriously amazing. Highly recommend.

This place was not at all what it was made out to be . Fish and seafood is supposed to be closely regulated by the state, because if not properly handled people get sick. When fish gets above forty degrees it needs to be iced , and these clowns don’t even have an ice machine. If the health inspector didn’t used to work there and now his son does they would have and should have been shut down long ago. Lashing out like you coming downstairs and throwing things and firing me everyday for no reason? It’s ok since you are destroying my name and my chances of getting a different job here in town , I thought you should know how it feels! I found someone that doesn’t care what you say , they care that I know how to handle fish . I’m not being vain when I tell you I’m probably the best you have ever trained. The difference is when it comes time I will prove it.

Visited these folks in mid March 2022. Very friendly staff, lots of selection for gifts. Got lots of salmon for gifts here. Also, TONS of eagles across the street that we took pictures of from the parking lot!
