We stopped here for lunch on two separate days as there was nothing open with beer at noon. The food is good, not amazing but definitely good. The outdoor area brings it up a notch. Plus fast service. They have a few games and books too. Plus a changing table in the bathroom. Excellent beer!

Awesome service! Super friendly, prompt and accurate. The food had great portions and good flavor. We had fish and chips, mushroom soup, wedge salad with salmon, and chicken fingers.

The location in Hope is amazing! The experience with the staff was top notch and they were always engaging and excited to help. The food was some of the best that I've had at an outdoor venue - try the ribs, you won't be disappointed. The stage and lawn setup is great. The area in front of the stage is in a depression so it allows the people who want to sit in the back, good views of the band without being blocked by those who want to stand in front. Bring a chair, your pup, and enjoy!(My review is only for the concert venue as I haven't been into the cafe)

My husband and I came for lunch in Sunday July 10th. We were the only other table inside the restaurant. I order the Fig and goat cheese burger it was bloody in the middle i wanted to let them know however the young gal never came to check of us. 29 min not one check in she was by the cashier talking with the employee’s other and stated loudly she wants them to close at 2 instead of 3 because she didn’t want to be here. I went up and asked for the check since ahe had no intention of coming back to our table. Cute place i hope she doesn’t ruin your restaurant. I have stomach cancer so i can’t have under cooked food which i explained.

The only place that's open during the winter months. I think they are also associated with the Yurt rentals nearby that look quite cozy. The Cafe is small and has a few indoor tables and booths. It looked like they were working on the porch area getting something ready for the summer months. (They are SUPER busy in the summer time, hosting music festivals and campers)I stayed in town overnight and had the pleasure of having both dinner and breakfast. The Chef is awesome and was very accommodating!

Great little place in Hope. Definitely recommend if you are down here!! Breakfast and lunch. Then live music later in the evening. Plus beer on tap and wine!!!

Everything was fine until it wasn’t. It was a beautiful sunny night and me and my girlfriend decided to eat out on the deck. Shortly after we started eating our dinner a live band was playing music in the background at a near by stage. We both finished our dinner and decided to get dessert. When I went inside to order dessert I was told If I was going to be on the deck I had to buy a wristband because of the live music playing. I told them we were already seated and eating dinner before any music was being played and that we just wanted dessert to eat and we’d be on our way. I took the dessert and went outside to the table and sat down. Shortly after someone who worked there came out and told us we had to either move inside (there was basically no room it was packed and hot) or buy a wristband to be outside on the deck. I told them we had already been out on the deck eating and was not told any of this when we first ordered our food and sat out there. They weren’t having any of it and said those are the rules. Instead of letting us eat our dessert and then leave they basically kick us out of there and were very smug about the whole situation. That’s absolutely no way to treat paying customers if you want there business in the future. Unfortunately after this whole situation unfolded I will never go back and support Creekbend Cafe and urge others to please take your business somewhere else where you won’t be treated like dirt. Id expect something like this to happen in Anchorage but not small town Hope, very disappointed with the outcome.

Wonderful little cafe! I think I had the best BLT I've ever eaten and the proprietor seemed to make everything to order while been very friendly! Bonus: There was a great pooch on the porch.

Was there for weekend of music. Disappointing that the featured (local) band only play a little over 2.5 hours each night out of a 4-hour time slot, when the weekend cost $35. An hour isn't a "short break". They started .5 hour late Friday night due to tech issues, which happen, but then only played an hour and took an hour break while a "tweener" played (that wasn't advertised). Came back and played another 1.5 hours. "Tweener" played another .5 warm-up on Saturday, and another hour during the 1-hour "break." I really like the band, but I wouldn't pay $20/night or $35/weekend to see them there again.

We try to visit every year Hope, so we stop at this restaurant for the lunch, I prefer a good cup of soup to warm up, a good sandwich and water. But this year 2022 I asked for 🐟. We also visited the art cabin (I think is a nice Ukrainian lady the owner) that supports local artists and sales their art. Please stop and visit this small town, enjoy a meal and shop at the store

Worse burger in Alaska but the coleslaw was great best-tasting in Alaska. But yes But they give you the coleslaw in a salad dressing container a bite and a half of coleslaw. Do not order the barbeque burger just plain nasty. The place is new but shows a lack of cleaning everywhere even your view into the kitchen to cake display. The waiter spent more time watching a cooking game show then working. And that alone was torture having to watch the show itself and watch the employee care more about it then cleaning but he did a up sale on ice cream 1 star and coleslaw 1 ⭐

Used to have unworldly pie and so so food. the pie is back on earth, still good and tasty... just not legendary. but the food and beer make it a whole different type of place... both yummy enough to keep you coming back for something more lasting than dessert.

Cafe has good food but service is relaxed. Slow down & enjoy the place & surroundings. You are at the end of the road.Great wedding venue behind cafe & over the bridge. Staff very friendly & helpful during all wedding preparations & celebrations.

Not impressed indeed. How incredibly poor can someone be treated in a restaurant? An establishment that serves the public? If it wasn't for Tim Easton and the amazing music he played that morning...oh, they had breakfast, that also enticed me - told to me by a local. I believed her! Not for me apparently!!!! I had to track down the wait person to even get a menu, then he didn't return... for my order or for anything else. It was an hour later when I practically begged him to take my order...and not busy. The waiter said he was not watching the time, and breakfast was over, by 15 mins. I worked my way through medical school as a waitress and a bartender. Yes, I know prejudice when I see it. And I was in tears when I left! Prejudice strikes through the heart! Was it my white hair? This was not a place that had just poor service, they had no service, for me!

Came here after the first place we had tried had an extremely limited menu. All day breakfast was a deal sealer. Vast menu and polite, promt service. Not much of a vibe inside. Kinda looks like a house turned kitchen with little effort to create any atmosphere but we got the food we wanted and were on our way. Will be my breakfast spot anytime I pass that way.

Good food, but poor service ~ The Owner had 'heads down' typing & NOT looking up to greet customers: "Be with you in a moment." Consequently, 2 sets of families sat, waited, and walked out! NOT enough menus & we had to wait until other customers were done with theirs. I addressed Owner re: customers walking out, seemed flippant! What this cafe needs is . . . competition!!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ate and the restaurant. The menu was different. My only critique would be the kids menu....my kids didn't really eat their msc n cheese because it had "weird" ingredients. Most kids want familiar things. I appreciate them for being creative but, a lot of kids are picky. We will be back!

My husband, friend, and I decided to explore Hope, AK and didn't have high expectations for finding food on the off season. The BBQ wings were delicious, but I can't stop thinking about the fried chicken! It was absolutely amazing. The cheese biscuit was literally a biscuit with cheese on top, but the chicken and gravy surpassed my every want. I might find a reason to swing by again soon!

Just stopped in for lunch while on Sunday drive. Sat down waiting for service was almost 5 minutes before we were acknowledged. Got our drinks waited almost 10 minutes before someone came back to take order. First order came out in decent time but rest came out at different times, tables all around were the same way. Nice enough staff but very slow and overpriced.
