My go to place for bird feed and supplies. The family running this place is amazing and helpful. It's definitely a local gem. The only place I'll go to "pick up chicks" every spring!

For all your pet, farming and livestock needs on the Southern Kenai Peninsula! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff that if they don’t know the answer they’ll get it for you! Great all around place and pretty reasonable on prices too….especially given they’re at the “end of road Homer”!With it being such a beautiful place, town and drive, excellent fishing and outdoor activities…..almost worth driving down to “Wagon Wheel” just to use that as an excuse to go hahaha.

Best garden center I’ve been to. The feel of the place is amazing, the staff the the friendliest around and the quality of product is awesome. They have chickens you can feed and two birds inside. Even if you’re from out of town it’s worth stopping by!

We love stopping in at the Wagon Wheel, especially in the summer. They have an incredible variety and assortment of flowers, plants, and trees in their greenhouses, and all over the property. Wandering around was a positive and pleasant family-friendly experience. My daughter loved using the little chicken feed machine and feeding the chickens and ducks, so if you have children be sure to bring quarters with you! They had a beautiful African Grey parrot inside the store; it was very fun hearing him talk and he could say "strawberry" perfectly!

I am from Anchorage and wanted to visit them for a while already. It was such a joy to just walk around their nursery. Lot's of outdoor and indoor plants, garden supplies and general pet items. Reasonably priced too. Great place to stop.

Just got back from Wagon Wheel and I wanted to let everyone know what a great experience I had. The three young women who helped me were knowledge, hospitable, and patient with all of my requests. They set me up for success and even loaded my truck up with everything (it was a ton!) The overall process was great and I will definitely be back!

Had to stop in this place to see what was going on. The sign cracked me up. It is the coolest place. A garden and pet center. I especially loved the pen with chickens, ducks, etc. There's an old fashion candy/prize dispensing machine that you put a quarter in to get some chicken food. The critters will come right up to you, and eat out of your hand. Very special for me as I had to move, and chickens are not allowed at my new home. Staff is super helpful. I bought a mock orange 🍊 bush. I have been trying to find one for years.

We always stop at Wagon Wheel.They have all kinds of plants and pet supplies. It's fun to visit the critters (birds, rabbits, fish, reptiles, etc.).They offer fair trade chocolate along with other snacks and household goods, too.

I'm so impressed with this greenhouse and gift store. .The staff are highly knowledgeable about everything, and so happy to help ..The plants are beautiful, and I just love visiting this store , Everytime company comes to Homer ,they have to visit this wonderful place. Picked up my chicks and was pleased to find I was able to also pick up some starts for the garden. Employees are amazingly friendly and helpful. Especially considering how busy they were.

Wagon Wheel is great little pet/garden/greenhouse/chicken store. So far they've always had what I needed and my kid and I often go just to look at the turtles, rabbits, and fish. It is the unofficial Homer Zoo afterall. Only downside is that the prices are a bit high even for Homer. But if that's what they need to charge to keep the doors open then so be it. I'm glad they're here.

Dirty cages he let a whole cluth of ball pythons die! He is kind of rude. The prices are horriable! Bought a sick ball pyt3hin from there (i have ball pythins of me own) couldn't get it to eat.

Nice greenhouse, lots to see including pets. A chatty African grey in a side room was super funny and the staff was very helpful and nice.

Found our loving and sweet cuddly rabbit here! People who own and work here are very helpful, knowledgable, and they spend alot of time with their animals and it shows. Since they spend time with the animals it makes them more people friendly and great pets. Recomend this place highly. <3

This is a very cool pet store you can find on your way to the beach in homer AK, it has so many things!! Cool pets! Gardening supplies! Pet supplies! Almost anything you want, you go there for it and they'll have it!! I got mealworms and crickets here for my beardie and while inside say a large variety of pets! And a macaw inside copied me when i said strawberry talking to the store worker of what we've been feeding my beardie it copied me!! You should definitely check this place out! 🍓
