I am passing through Haines on my way to Juneau and I needed to grab a few things to eat. The staff was kind and helpful. It is a quintessential example of a small town supermarket. It had everything I needed and the prices were quite reasonable as well.

Largest grocery store in Haines with lots of parking. Produce is good and staff is very friendly even with literal boatloads of tourists. Only drawback is crazy high prices, but managers specials provide some price cuts. Expensive groceries is a problem everywhere in Alaska.

Just another anti-mask business that clearly has no respect for the health and safety of their employees, their customers, or their community. Not a single employee wears a mask and neither did the majority of customers. It's just flat-out poor judgment and is only going to hurt the business in the long run. Ignorance like this is what is causing businesses to be impacted and hospitals to be overcrowded. Shame on you for not caring more about your community.
