Great family fun. I was a bit concerned taking my young daughters ages 6, 9, and 11 on such an aventure but they loved it. Natalie had all the right gear and the kids caught their first salmon on flies! I recommend this trip to any parent looking to introduce their kids to exciting fly or cast fishing in the great Alaska wilderness.

Natalie was great to spend the day with. She's been guiding since she was 14 years old. We between the two of us we caught over 60 fish that day. He equipment was in top notch shape and good order. She had backup for everything if needed. So long as you can walk comfortably for a few miles during the course of the day, one of her river fishing trips would be great for all levels of fishing experience. Beginners to advanced and everything in-between will enjoy themselves. Be sure to bring snacks you can enjoy on the trial.

THE highlight of my Alaska trip! Natalie took us to Mud Bay River where we caught Pink Salmon and Dolly Varden and also got to watch a brown bear chasing salmon down river from us. Natalie is a knowledgeable guide and full of helpful hints to help with catching fish as well as a lover of the great outdoors.

Natalie was amazing and I would definitely recommend booking a tour with her! From booking to the actual trip, she was just fantastic. She was super flexible and arranged a special hybrid tour for my family so that my seven year old son, husband and grandpa could go stream fishing, while my 3.5 year old twins, grandma and me could look for bears. She knew the area very well and knew where the fish would bite, and she patiently helped my son cast, catch his first fish and masterfully untangled many lines. They primarily did catch and release, but she knew my son wanted to keep/eat a fish and so she also arranged for us to cook it by a campfire after the fishing was done. Next time we are in Alaska, we will definitely try to book with her again. She is a class act!

If you’re ever in Gustavus/Glacier bay I highly recommend booking a guided tour with Natalie. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. My arms were tired after catching fish and she was an amazing guide! Would love to do this again!

My father and I were so fortunate to have encountered Natalie in Hoonah. We had a fabulous, very successful fishing day on private property close to downtown Hoonah to which NatVentures has access. Natalie was outstanding as a guide: super knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife, ultra willing to help, and well-equipped with proper gear. We had our favorite day in SE AK thus far at a great value spending it fishing with NatVentures Tours!

Natalie (owner) is an excellent guide who makes sure her clients always have a great time! River fishing is a great relaxing way to enjoy Gustavus and see more of the town while catching trout, Dolly Varden, Pink and Silver salmon.
