This was the most delightful surprise during our roadtrip from Anchorage to Valdez - where you least expect it, Rhonda and Rebecca served us high-quality espresso coffees they proudly source locally. They are the kindest, most generous hosts - don’t be fooled by the hardware store exterior, you will be glad you stopped!!!

I love this hardware store. They have a great selection of different items. The pricing seems to be consistent considering how far away they are from Anchorage. The best part by far are the new owners. They are wonderful people, they genuinely seem motivated everyday to make their customers happy. I have been surprised more than one time by free beverages or goodies while shopping their. You can't help but leave with a smile on your face. I also noticed they are building an addition onto the existing building! Overall great people to do business with!

It's good that someone has a store way out here for local use and it's appreciated. If your looking for something specific it's difficult to convince them to order instead of a bunch of suggestions to substitute with other and more parts to piece together a less desirable bit of product. Summer days are so busy staff has a lot of demand so expect wait times and short spurts of assistance.

We were driving our Motorhome back to Texas in early September. About 50 miles west of Glennallen we met a truck on the Glenn Highway that somehow managed to throw a rock which blew out a side window on our RV. We pulled into Glennallen Hardware as we came into town hoping to figure out a way to fix the window. I explained our problem to the extremely helpful staff at Glennallen Hardware. They knew just what to do. Andrew, one of the staff members at the store took charge. He assessed our problem, got the items needed to temporarily repair our missing window and fixed it for us. The repair he did secured that window wonderfully for the 5,000 miles drive it took to to get back home. We made it without any problem or worry about that window. I just got it replaced this past week. I want to thank Andrew and the whole staff at Glennallen Hardware for their incredible customer service. I can’t remember receiving this level of customer service anywhere else ever before. This is a fantastic store with truly caring and helpful people working there. Thank You Glennallen Hardware!
