Unbelievable service, understandably popular. Busy shop during peak season with repairs of all sorts. Fixed our flat quickly and without fuss although we had to take our turn in line waiting. Very fair pricing.Gas station and repair also runs Glennallen Towing and Salvage. AAA participating provider. Norman went out of his way to help us when we discovered a problem 65 miles away. Arrived a few minutes over an hour…Highly recommend.

We had a tire blowout on the drive to Glennallen on Saturday. When we arrived we were informed that tire installs are only done Monday-Friday. Understood that, planned to camp until Monday and await our spare tire remount. The mechanic came into work later in the day Saturday for another repair and mounted the new tire on our rim just so we’d be taken care of in case we needed to leave. Excellent service, kind people, 100% recommend this business!!!

These folks are outstanding! They are honest hardworking people. They help the broken down traveler get safely back on the road. We limped in with 4 bald trailer tires and Ben set us up to be serviced next. Before they removed a single tire he noticed we had a broken leaf spring (Dempster Highway will get you one way or another). With tires and spring replaced we scheduled a return trip to replace the other 3 springs after the parts arrived. We spent the interim in Valdez and enjoyed our time exploring before returning. Ben and the team were working on a Class A when we arrived. They had a worn out front tire from a botched shock replacement and another traveler had a blown tire and was driving on a donut. As soon as those customers were back on the road, our trailer was on jack stands. I don't know when they rest or eat, but we are grateful for their dedication. Also, Ben is the most chill mechanic I've met. I wish I was as calm under pressure as he was...as the whole team was.

I have to give these guys 5 stars. It took 2 days of my wife and I living in our 5th wheel in their parking lot because they are so busy. They got the welding done on the trailer's leaf spring hanger bracket and we moved on. However both welds didn't hold and we had to get more repairs in Whitehorse. The five stars is because they gave me a refund for the welding job.

50 cents more a gallon for regular gas than it is in Tok!?? Lot's of nasty pot holes at all gas stations!! Bad coffee for 4 bucks!! Fill up in Pamer and again in Tok if you travel towards the border, or, last stop, about 30miles before the border, at the Northway junction gas Station, run by friendly native Alaskans with a great convenient store, and hot showers!! Skip Glenallen!!!

We’ve stopped here for years to get gas. It’s the cheapest gas in town plus a shorter wait. But today we needed towing help after our fifth wheel had suspension damage. Even through they got the call at 6am from AAA, the response was quick and they were on the road to Anchorage with our RV on a flat bed within a few hours making it to Anchorage by mid afternoon. Great customer service!!

Ben is great and was extremely helpful in our adventures today. We were driving to Anchorage from Valdez when our car suffered a blown tire on the Richardson about 4-5 miles South of Glenallen. My wife called ahead and asked if they could look at it while I placed the spare on the car. Ben said the tire couldn't be patched but he could get us one. Our flight was leaving Anchorage at 9:30p and we were three hours away. He told me (around 11:30) it would be no earlier than 4:30p but he would help. He made several calls, talked to his driver and ordered us a tire. The driver popped into town at 6:30p and Ben personally changed our tire after hours and sent us on our way at a very fair price. He also recommended a place nearby we could spend the day while we waited. We were fortunately able to catch a later flight with no problem and made it to Anchorage safely. Our experience with Glenallen Fuel and Service was positive and they were super helpful and empathetic.

Ben was overall the most kindest mechanic I ever been to I just bought a used car that came with needing repairs. I had my friends test drive it she said it was good so I sent her money on the way home from anchorage I noticed there was mechanical issues. I just spent some money on this car he gave me a free estimate and fixed the problem in an hour. He explained everything even showed me what was wrong with it and gave me a discount. I will definitely be bringing my car here for future tune ups.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience ! I broke down with overheating issues for a new-to-me 1991 van I’m converting into a camper van. Ben showed up quickly and was helpful the entire time. He diagnosed the problem and explained it in terms I could understand. I’m a lady who knows that you can’t hammer screws in your tires to make studded tires but that’s just about it. After we found the problem he put me at ease and was courteous the whole time. I was back on the road in no time at all. I recommend you ask for Ben when possible, his knowledge of the problem made things fly by and his small talk kept things comfortable while I learned a little something. His work was good enough to make me finally write a review !

People were friendly until they got your service. Stopped in with truck trouble, a day later and not fixed or could tell me the problem was charged $259 to tell me what I already knew. "Wouldnt start". Very bad service. Never again. There were no problems diagnosed, I was told to take it to the dealer. I had Rok Diesel in wasilla look at it there was air in the fuel lines, which yall said you bleed. Then I had to replace a year old starter that I and someone else watched the mechanic and the owner smoke continuously engaging the starter.

Most people stop at The Hub when in Glennallen and drive by this place. I prefer to stop here. Same prices but not nearly as long of a wait.The only changing table is in the Woman’s room. However they will let dads in to change diapers if you ask.

Our motorhome broke down 20 miles from Glenallen on a Sunday. They towed us to town. They figured out what the problem was that afternoon. 8 in the morning a mechanic got working on it and was done by 9.They were fast and friendly and a good price.

I prefer to stop here over the clown act at "The Hub". I usually can pull right up to a pump, get diesel from EVERY diesel pump without needing a corporate card, and can use a functional, clean restroom AND have actual water and squeegees to clean my windshield. To top it off, they are usually lower by a couple of cents than every other place in Glennallen.

My parents RV got a flat. They were able to bring it here and only had to wait maybe 15 minutes before they got in and we were fixed and on the road in like 30 minutes. And they didnt charge an arm and a leg like some places.

Our muffler broke when we got to Glenallen and we had lost a lot of coolant but couldn’t find the leak. The mechanic was very busy but he welded our muffler back on and pressured up the radiator with a special tool. We found the leak immediately. We needed a new hose and hose clamp. It was work my husband could do and so the mechanic let us park behind the shop to do the repairs. It took time (NAPA had to get the part in from Anchorage so we stayed the night in the back of the shop) but we got it all put back together. The mechanic (Dawson) checked in on us a few times and was very accommodating and friendly. If you have to break down, at least you know you’re with good people!

They Drove a wrecker 118 miles to pickup my broke down truck and r.v., then hauled them 300 miles to the nearest Ford dealership in Anchorage Alaska. Very helpful and pleasant to work with. I could not ask for more. My Roadside Service, through USAA Insurance Co. Provided coverage. My Ford Extended Service Warrenty, which I called first, Refused coverage . So much for Fords Better Idea of service.

The bracket that holds the spring leafs springs on my fifth wheel broke making us immobile. I called a couple places and they told me they'd get it done in a week, they were backed up. Called here and not only are they the AAA reps that picked us up but we arrived at 5pm closing time and they said they would get to it tomorrow(me right?) . Then out of nowhere two of the told me they'd stay late till they finish, 3 hours later I was out of there with a ton of Thank yous and a small tip. Couldn't recommend it more, we'll be back for gas in the morning before heading out.

Had a tire leaking air, brought it to them and they took care of us right away. Left with a fixed tire 15 minutes later. Mechanic named Dawson was great!

Glenallen Fuel & Service works to earn your business. It's nothing fancy, but you're in Alaska where fancy is limited.We were in Glenallen on a full-blown pit stop, as are many travelers.Bathrooms are clean and easy to find, and they don't require a fuel purchase. However, fuel is less expensive than the bigger guys, and they'll give you a lollipop and a smile as a thank you!
