I've paid for various services here for my dog, but this review is more focused on the 5-star customer service I have received each time. Today, I called and explained my situation and Paige was able to make recommendations and get my appointments all revised with no fuss. Paige was very friendly and helpful, and service like that is one of the reasons why I will continue to go back! (And of course, the grooming services provided have been 💯). Thanks, Paige!

This was our first time getting our dog groomed and wow did they blow it out of the park!The staff was so general and kind with our dog and she has never been softer. The prices are very reasonable. I can’t recommend thisPlace enough. If you need a groomer in Fairbanks this is your place.

Grooming a Samoyed is a difficult task. Azariah does an absolutely fantastic job with Kydra. Pretty Pawz Grooming has a staff that is professional, cares about the animals and has absolutely wonderful customer service.The owner is generally on site and is warm and welcoming. This is not a box store dog wash, it's a superior local owned business.I unconditionally recommend Pretty Paws Grooming for your furry child's grooming needs.

The pricing is insane. No other groomer I’ve ever seen has charged such crazy prices. I was about to call but saw the prices and hell no. Based on reviews they seem to not be good at communication or able to handle criticism. Good business owners listen to the bad reviews and improve. I can see the unprofessional attitude in the way they respond to the 1 star reviews.Can’t wait to see how snappy they get with my review. Learn to take the bad reviews and learn from them.

We have been using them for over a year. Never been overly impressed. There pricing is outrageous, very little communication for when pick up is, then a random text stating you must pick up in 30 mins or you get charged an over night fee?!? The last straw was missing my appointment by 10 min, called to see if I could still bring my dogs in, no answer of course. So they charged me the full amount. If they had booked both my dogs for the day, why couldn’t they have worked with me bringing them in late, and maybe cancel a service or two. Crazy to me how you wouldn’t want to make your customers happy, regardless. Missing an appointment I get, but charging 100% fee, and having no wiggle room! I would not recommend this company at all! Never there, not very nice to talk too, unfortunate when lack of customer service ruins your business.

where exactly do I start? Jessica is a star. I am so happy that I have found her. She was informative, gentle, caring and honestly I am just so impressed that for the first time in my life I am speechless. She even sent me "pupdates" throughout the entire grooming. My dogs were HAPPY, Clean and i even learned a few things about my dog :) i will NEVER go anywhere else. i pledge my allegiance to Jessica and Pretty Paws forever and ever. Jessica set the bar pretty high and I'm not sure that anyone can out do her at this point. Bravo Jessica!!!

I decided to try Pretty Pawz after moving here. They didn’t answer their phones, so I booked an appointment online. I asked for a shorter haircut and a teddy bear face for my golden doodle (mind you, they had been groomed 6 weeks prior) When I picked him up, his entire muzzle was shaved the same length of his body. He looked like a lab. I didn’t see his haircut until after I paid, of course. The next day my poodle was scheduled. I was running late to the appointment. I tried calling, again, no answer. I texted the number they give out and they responded ten minutes later that they would not be able to take my dog today, and that they would be charging me a 50% charge for the services today. I was 10 minutes late. I will never be using their services again and I advise anyone in Fairbanks to steer clear of this business.

I have been taking my Husky and lab mix here for almost a year now, and Tay has done a great job on both of my babies! She is very patient with them as one of mine has separation anxiety and does a great job with them! There have been a few times where I forgot to add an addition service on when booking, and she always catches it and knows what regular add ons I book for my dogs. I’ve recently started taking my cat here for nail trims and she is extremely quick!

Wouldn't cut my dogs hair because they said she needed more face and feet trims before they would do her body. She's tiny and was tripping over her fur. After grooming her myself a few times I decided to try again and made an appointment for a month and a half out. as it was the first available appointment. Was notified the next day that I am not a regular enough customer and they canceled my appointment. They were pretty rude about it I felt

I can not recommend them enough. I have a 15 lb dog senior dog with heart problems who has severe anxiety. He has had issues with biting and freaking out even when sedated. They asked a ton of questions and made sure the person doing the service had experience with his issues. He still needed sedation, special planning, and interventions, but they worked with me, and he actually got a decent haircut without losing his mind. Will be going here from now on.

We drove 30 minutes here to get my pups nails trimmed and we showed up at 3:20pm on a Wednesday and the store was closed even though it says open til 4pm
