We cannot say enough wonderful things about Tim, Julie, & the entire Farmstead Staff!! Briefly we have a sweet rescue that had horrible separation anxiety when we got him. One of the things his behavior specialist recommended was 'doggy day care'. But literally no place we checked out had the 'feel' that The Farmstead had. It is immaculate, all the dogs there are having so much fun without behaving wild or out of control. Otto is starting his 2nd month of day care there and the change in him is nothing short of incredible!! He is calmer, more obedient, happier, and just all round healthier!! We are so very grateful to Tim, Julie, and the entire staff at The Farmstead for their caring attitudes, loving discipline, warm smiles, hard work, consistency in obedience expectations, and dedication to every dog that walks through their doors!!

thought it would be a good place for my dog to run off steam. i even boarded there once. we had multiple cancellations of planned daycare within the first few months. got a long winded explanation of how they could do that anytime for a variety of reasons. logic was bizarre and circular. seems like the reality was a rigid place where dog walks around 'behaving'. i did not pay attention to the weird vibes i got at the beginning. i should have. i hesitated to write a review until i saw another i could have written. would not recommend.

Our two puppies that have just turned 1yrs old have had several good experiences there and overall we just feel safe that they will be cared for, also received a surprise happy birthday card in the mail which was very thoughtful and just wanted to reach out and say thank you ☺️

My dog Schatzie was cared for whenever we travelled for almost 15 years by Tim, Julie, and their staff. They are the best! Tim & Julie readily acknowledge that a foundation of structure combined with love offers matchless pet experience! Every excellent dog trainer lives and breathes this approach. Anyone critical of it should not own a pet or parent a child.My heartfelt gratitude goes to their highest standards of pet care. Love the way Tim, Julie, and their staff care for pups! They are always willing to answer any questions we have and love to share their knowledge. So thankful my pup has a daycare where I know she is taken care of and the staff knows her. Love the Farmstead!!

One of the most advanced dog day care centers I have ever seen. Their staff has adapted well to our child Rosie. She really enjoys her full day of activities there.

Loved this place believing it was an activity center where my dog could play and let off energy while socializing with other dogs. Workers were always nice until I met Tim, who believes an excited dog is an untrained dog. I now know that my dog was belittled and had choke collars placed on him multiple times because he is a young lab who gets excited to see his family and other dogs. He does not jump on people, act aggressively, etc. He is incredibly trained, comes on command, can do every trick in the book and yet is a "safety risk" . This place is great if you are looking for obedience school, but if you are looking for a place for your dog to have a fun time and enjoy playing with other dogs please take them anywhere else.

Tim & Julie are dedicated to running a Quality Pet facility. We were desperate to find someone who could teach first time dog owners how to work with our rescue dog, Foxxy. Foxxy loves going to the facility. However, note...Tim spent a LOT of time teaching the humans how dogs behave and why. He is incredibly knowledgable, patient & funny. Tim will go above & beyond to help folks who are open-minded and willing to listen. We are forever grateful to Tim, Julie and their dedicated staff for all the love and learning we have received from them. They deserve 5 stars!

The farmstead is the result of Tim and Julie's hardwork at the HAFH dog daycare, it's a beautiful facility. Our 4 dogs go here once a week for socialization. More than a dog daycare, it's not a place to just drop a dog off for a break, you will need to become a member of the family.

Taught my abused rescue dog to trust and be a dog.Recently got a puppy that will be used as a therapy dog with the elderly. I checked to see if there was space for her here before agreeing to purchase this puppy. I would have waited for space before adopting a dog.I am not exaggerating.
