OMG! I am so glad that I drove all the way to Eagle River in the snow storm to get XZāýVN groomed here. Yes I was a bit skeptical that I was bringing my baby to someone's house, as this was his and I first time allowing someone else to groom him. But it was sooooooooo worth it. The price was great for a Miniature Schnauzer. They took such good care of my baby and even he was excited once he was done. He has been walking around with his head to the sky knowing that he looks great. When I was having separation anxiety and would call to check on him, I would hear him talking to her in the background and she spoke back to him. He only does that with my son. Thank you so much for taking him in with such short notice. I will surely be returning. I wish I knew how to add a photo to this review. HE SMELLS SO DARN DELICIOUS! You rock!

Very fair in price with her Standard Poodle puppies. I bought Bentley 6 months ago from here. Like always the owner KC did a great job grooming him. She's even groomed my cat Bagherra before.

Don’t normally post reviews and I wouldn’t if I didn’t feel it could potentially affect other pet owners. If I would’ve read the business reviews prior to my husband selecting this place, I wouldn’t have agreed to it from the beginning. While the groomer was super responsive and nice, and both of our dogs haircuts were decent. One of my dogs has multiple (4) nails bleeding from being trimmed too short, which to us, is something simple that should be able to be avoided.

This was an interesting experience. The groomer runs it from her house in the garage. The place is very packed with cars, lumbers, garbage, tools, like from a hoarding show. I came to the door at my scheduled time at 11 and she wasn't ready for me and wasn't dressed. It seemed like she hadn't even gotten up for the day. We went to the garage and it was messy, but hey, it is a garage and a dog grooming place... how clean is clean in that situation? With that said, that place seemed like the shady house on the block. I was trying to decide if I wasn't to be rude and walk out or see how it was. I wanted to give a fair chance, so I stayed.I had to reach out around 4/4:30 to find out how my dog was going and when he was going to be done. Finally around 5 he was done. I showed up and there were a bunch of cars in the area and a bit of people just hanging out in the garage with her and it was odd. She was nice enough, he looked fine. I didn't love the job done, but it wasn't horrible. I don't know if I'd recommend the place, but I am shocked people gave 5 stars. The reviews where people were nervous were spot on. If you really want to give it a try, go for it, again she was polite to me. The place is mess and wreaks of pet urine, but it was $55 to get my dog groomed well enough.

Outstanding job on my dog, he looks nice. They take many hours, but they do you the job. They have been given bad reviews by people who just wanna ruin their reputation, but they are good at their job, believe me on this one. They deserve to make $999,999 every year.

This place is sketch. Went here cause everywhere else was booked. The house looks like it came straight from a hoarders tv show, garbage and junk everywhere. My dog ended up getting an ear infection which ended up with me going to the vet with a hefty bill. Never again.

A home shop that has better equipment than I've seen in a commercial setting. They are extremely educated in Pet Care and offer other services as well. There is some beautiful woodwork to explore on your way to the shop, which is in her garage. It's nice to have a personable Hometown environment in a town that is rapidly growing.

The worst experience ever. I’m upset at myself for not going with my gut feeling the moment I laid eyes on this house. Junk everywhere, the grooming tools old and rusty. Had my appointment at noon and was told a couple of hours. 4 hours go by with no update, I messaged asking and groomer who said she was almost done. At 5:45pm I drive over and my dog is in the kennel with only her body poorly shaved! Her head and tail the same as I left her! No water dish in her kennel. Groomer explained that she had a medical issue, and as I nurse I understand that importance. But why wouldn’t she at least text to say there’s a medical emergency or something?? She had 4 other dogs in the kennels, why would she continue taking clients when you aren’t feeling well. It’s plain cruelty. She charged me $40 for this. Terrible.

My cat was in need of a shave, brushing just wasn't keeping his hair in control. There aren't a lot of places that will groom a cat, especially ones that would fit my work schedule.I met with Haley (hopefully spelled that right!) and she was stellar. Kept my cat calm, and walked me through the process. She has all the tools of the trade and got him cleaned up in in 45 minutes!Definitely going back when my guy needs another summer cut.

I’ve been taking my dog King to KC for about two years now and I love it! He’s not a little dog as he is a Great Pyrenees so he is a lot of work. She takes her time. She is loving and very knowledgeable. My dog has pretty severe allergies and she is always so attentive and offers great advice. She always makes time to fit my crazy single mom busy military schedule. I would highly recommend Eagle River Grooming.

Although I Was under the impression this would be a good decision due to the good reviews, KC clipped my dog’s nails and she is literally bleeding. She also has razor burn and red on her stomach. I have full regret to taking her and I thought I’d take a chance. She doesn’t even look professional. Don’t leave your dog in the hands of KC.

This place is the worst! I hope no one ever brings their dogs here. We picked this place because it was open on a Sunday and they had good reviews. The reviews must be fake, and the house looks nothing like the picture online. There’s junk all outside. My husband and I took our two yorkies and asked how long it would be till they would be finished. She said it would take about two hours. She asks for payment up front. Seemed odd to me but we paid and gave a tip before we left for the two hours. We went to grab a bite to eat while we waited. At two hours my husband text the ladies number and asked if they were about done. We waited another 30 minutes but still didn’t hear anything. So we decided to drive to her place and see what was going on. I walked in and our two yorkies were sitting in a kennel shaking and still not groomed. I asked her why our puppies hadn’t been groomed yet. She grabbed our girl yorkies and started clippering her very quickly and said, I had a crazy cat come in and I had to take care of the cat. But I still have time, I’ll get them done. I said, “No, I want our puppies back. “ she said, well there are no refunds. I said, you have had our dogs for over two hours and you haven’t even started on them. I said they have been sitting here scared and who knows if they have even gone to the bathroom. She said well I still have time I’m going to get them done. My husband said, fine but we are staying here. She said that’s fine. She starts cutting our puppies nails very quickly, I was scared she was going to hurt her. Then in walks a young kid that looked like we was high, and starts accusing someone of steeling something of their that was in the house. Seemed to us that both of them here high and she was being very aggressive with our girl Yorkie. The kid walked out and my husband said we want our dog we are getting out of here. She said well there are no refunds. My husband said I don’t care, we want our dogs and we are getting out of this place. So we took our dogs, afraid she was going to hurt them from working so fast. We are out $100. I can’t believe she can even be in business. That place is a nightmare!!!!

She shaved the inside of my dog's pads & gouged her with the clippers. All 4 paws are irritated & sore, but one of them has a good sized open wound & is swollen. My heart is breaking for my girl. Definitely won't be going back.

Everytime we took our small dogs she would give us a time and she always ran over by a couple hours, poor time management or just bad time judgment. I took my cat in to be shaved and she rushed through and I stayed to help to save my little buddy from being there longer than he needed to as there was a barking dog. mind you every time I have taken him to scrub a mutt in palmer, they say he was very well behaved, he was scared the whole time with kc, and she coned him and was contorting his legs in ways they didn't bend naturally. He was terrified and the place is dirty and not well kept, we will never take our pets there again, it's worth the drive to palmer for us to go to scrub a mutt.

Amazing amazing amazing sadly some of the reviews I have seen are lies or rival groomers leaving false reviews I mean I get it but she is a great person and loves animals whole heartedly. Many people who I have told about ERG (eagle river grooming)Have never said anything but good things to me and trust that they have no issues with speaking the truth and not sugar coating it all I can say is go see for yourselves how amazing a single woman operation can be

The place was not anywhere close to pristine and some of the kennels were rusty and broken, but the lady was kind and she had a legitimate set up so I decided to giver her a chance. When I got my dog back she looked good but smelled aweful which is disappointing bc half the reason I spent the money was for her to smell better.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE! Junk everywhere looked like a hoarders house, small dogs locked up in cages looked terrified, one dog looked spray painted, smells like urine and there are flies everywhere. This place should probably be shut down.

Kc is a professional dog handler with superior grooming experience with natural talent for every style cut for all breeds including cat handling and care in less than 15 minutes included shave,bath,nails clipped with ear medication if necessary.The dog grooms take a bit longer with dry times etc,but worth the wait or you can trust our pets are in great hands with Kc.I love Eagle River Grooming...
