Gary and Pam at the Clam Gulch Lodge is like visiting an old friend who pampers you the entire time. We had a group of 15 close friends for a 3 day fishing and 4 night stay. Gary and Pam, along with Nicole, waited on our group hand and foot. Gary is like a friend you’ve known your whole life and the accommodations are fantastic. The rooms are completely blacked out, the rooms have recently been updated, the bathrooms are amazing and the hot water is awesome for showers and warming back up after a long day of fishing.Gary also has excellent relationships with some of the best Guides on the Kenai Peninsula. We caught excellent sized Halibut, snagged Coho and had the time of lives.Gary also makes Breakfast and a sacked lunch that is 5 Stars!! Great portions for breakfast, excellent lunches (halibut sandwiches, salmon spread bagels and tons of snacks). For dinner he offered his Traeger and Outdoor burners for us to cook up salmon, halibut, steak and shrimp. We will all come back and look forward to our next visit! A must stay!!

Gary and Pam were incredibly gracious and welcoming hosts! They really make you feel like family. They arranged all of our tours and prepared amazing breakfasts and packed lunches for our tours. The basement room and bathroom we had were newly renovated and very comfortable! We made our own dinners every night using their outdoor burner (Traeger, sink, and dinnerware also available on the patio). We purchased some scallops and prawns at the smokehouse on the way from Kenai and cooked them for dinner. My son (17yo) had a blast and was disappointed to leave.

Gary and Pam were lovely sharing their lodge with our large party. They went above and beyond making sure we had fun, kept the place well equipped with a full kitchen, had 3 different grills going available for our use, were respectful, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay. They made a lovely breakfast the next morning and supplied us with coffee or tea at request, and firewood for our outdoor entertainment. We would recommend this place for family events or hanging out with close knit friends for a weekend getaway. There is ample space to play golf, play music outdires, sit around fire a large fire pit with ample seating. Their property also houses quiet, private cabins if you choose a more serene environment for quiet souls. It was a great expereince and we would like to go back again next year sometime.

Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The meals provided were delicious, varied. They even allowed for my diet restrictions, which was a pleasant surprise. The view is beautiful and can look different every time I look up.We did several activities: salmon fishing among bears, sea kayaking, glacier viewing and dog sledding. The dog sledding was on wheels because it was summer. It was so much more fun than I was expecting. The people are serious mushers who compete in the annual Iditarod. They're very friendly and will chat with you at length about their dogs and mushing. The dogs are great fun, all friendly and affectionate, inclined to jump up to lick you. This is a must-do. I almost went the next day too, even though I was not riding, just to see the folks and their dogs again.

We had a lovely time! We loved our comfortable beds and the delicious breakfasts cooked for us and our three little ones. We shared adjoining rooms and the kids loved the "secret passage" between our rooms and the mints on their pillows. :) The view and yard are incredible and the location is excellent for getting away from it all. It was a wonderful retreat for the wedding weekend full of friends and events.

Gary and Pam are wonderful hosts! The lodge is peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed a bon fire with wood that was provided by the lodge. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. And we enjoyed great conversation with Gary, Pam and the rest of the team. *Highly recommend* down on the Kenai. 🙋‍♀️💥

Clam Gulch Lodge is the quintessential Alaska Lodge. With the most sincere and genuine hospitality, you instantly feel like Gary and Pam are family. They welcome you with open arms and really go above and beyond to make your stay one you don't want to leave.Clam Gulch Lodge is so conveniently located for your next vacation to the Kenai Peninsula - from fly out trips, to halibut fishing or lining reds on the Kenai. This is a place I will recommend to all my friends and family!

We haven't stayed here yet, but the owners gave us a tour and it's a very nice place to consider on our next trip. Complete breakfast, not just "continental" garbage. King beds in every room, great view across Cook Inlet and the Mt. Redoubt volcano. Basement rooms have no windows and are DARK during summer months, better sleeping.

One of the best experiences I've had while travelling this gorgeous state. The grounds and rooms are well kept and panoramic vistas really make this place special. While relaxing in the common area, bald eagles would soar over the lookout across the ocean. Clam Gulch Lodge is an awesome locally owned establishment where the owners become friends!

Incredible stay! Midway between Anchorage and Homer. Comfortable, homey feel with fabulous breakfast. Gary provided endless insights into things to do in the Kenai region! He pointed us to Skilak Wildlife Refuge drive and Russian River Falls hike. Overall he made the stay in Clam Gulch the best possible!

Great hosts! Perfect place for a family vacation or corporate retreat. The food was amazing and they coordinated all the fishing trips on our behalf. Fishing and clamming was great as well. Will visit again.

I stayed here last summer and hope to stay here this summer. It is a cute, homy place. Home made food by a good cook. Plenty of beds. Right on the coast line.

Amazing view and a great host. Pretty close to homer, the Kenai river, kasilof river and everything in between for fishing.
