Amazing scenery and the falls are gorgeous. We spent a week there in our camper. We first parked at the spot right by the falls and it was the best place to be. And so thought everyone else. We can constant foot traffic through our site to access the creek and base of the falls. We could only take that for a day. Even after moving across the road there was a steady flow of people in and out of the area, and again, people through our campsite for river access. The bathrooms were well kept nearly daily, but got trashed just as fast too. The creek and the falls are amazing to hear and camp by, but just don’t expect any privacy or personal space to be respected when your here.

Great little place to camp for the night. They have tent camping and four or five spots for a camper with nice campsites. A couple of spots are really close to the waterfall. $25 self-pay station.

Wonderful little campground in a beautiful setting. Probably best visited in the off-season. Spaces are limited and most are walk-ins (from a few feet to several dozen yards). These have platforms for tents. Four or so sights are drive-in. Most sights are very close with no privacy foliage between. So, if you're lucky enough to be there with no close neighbors, it's a delightful spot.

Very pretty, drive up camping spots. The water is rushing hard so we decided against staying with the little ones. Colder than surrounding spots bc of the waterfall.Restrooms: Has bathroomsPicnic area: Lots of picnic tables

Clean vault toilets and a beautiful waterfall make a great stop along the road and a picturesque spot to camp. Camping sites are first come, first serve so we ventured out on Thursday night to secure a good site for the weekend. We ended up with spot 6 on the east side of the falls, a great spot away from the bulk of the available sites. Site 6 included a fire ring and picnic table along with plenty of space for our tent and vehicle. The falls/ creek cover up most of the noise from other campers, including a generator at site 5, the only other site on the east side of the falls. Camping is $25/ site/ night.

Have you ever fallen asleep by a waterfall or have waterfall music to put you to sleep? This is the place. Campsites are close to each other but most people are camping to fish so aren't there most of the time.

A roaring waterfall in the mid-June timeframe. A great campsite for tents, vans, and small trailers. Not ideal for big RVs (>25 ft) but a really lovely site worth spending some time at. The climb to the top of the falls is not well marked but very rewarding.

This place is beautiful. We were able to find a spot right on the river and spent the day there exploring. Since it was summer we had to take a little swim and wow that water was cold. I for sure recommend this place even if it's just for a day.

There were four sites that could fit an RV and the rest were tent camping. Large sites and no problem getting a spot. Bring cash or check to pay. Bring toilet paper! There are pit toilets but they were not stocked or cleaned while we were there. There is water seasonally

It has two bridges. That's as many as two ones of bridges.

It was clean, it was peaceful. It's just wonderful to listen to the sound of the Falls.

Very beautiful. There is a tiny calmer creek that runs next to liberty for a ways that is good for kids to play in. Nice camp ground. U shaped road, had no problem pulling a 31 ft RV though and saw many trucks with boat trailers going through without a problem.

Amazing campground, the river and waterfall are beautiful and very loud- it provides great white noise so you cant hear other campers.Bathrooms were the cleanest state park bathrooms i’ve ever seen.Have to give 4 stars because there was no toilet paper in the restrooms and had to wipe with a piece of cardboard. otherwise great experience :)

Beautiful waterfalls located right off the road that goes down to the campground. After seeing the campground, we would love to camp here but we were just driving through. We also hiked the Liberty Falls trail that has amazing views at the top of the Wrangells on a clear day.

This is a nice, but smaller, campground. The sound of the falls and creek produce a lot of white noise, so it's quiet and sound from adjacent sites doesn't travel into yours. There's only 4 sits suitable for RVs, and one of those would be only for a very short rig. It has plenty of platforms for tents though. There are vault toilets and water is available at a hand pump when it isn't freezing. The place is well kept. In 2017, sites were $20/night.

Nice dry site with nice waterfall. It's a little hidden in the forest and this makes it a little dark. Fee 20$ is OK. 2 outhouses were clean. We enjoyed the fall and it's pools to refresh after a long drive from matanuska Valley. We made a campfire ind the fire pit to get rid of the friendly mosquitoes, which worked only a little bit. 😜

Even tho it's first come first gets a site, it's worth it. The water fall was gorgeous and soothing to sleep in the tent at night. We will visit again. Also bathroom stayed stocked so that's always a plus. It does get breezy so fire up the pit for sure.

The state park is nice, with a beautiful waterfall and you can see the national park from a distance. There supposedly is a trail up to the meadows, but the map is confusing. Later I learned that the actual trail is not in the recreation site, but 100 yards before it. I did walk a bit around there, but clearly not far enough. There are picnic tables and plateau where you can set up things.

It’s gorgeous and the waterfall is lovely. Good for sleep. But there aren’t a lot of sites and it fills up! Have a backup site or two in mind.

It's beautiful and relaxing. I would suggest you visit it if you are in the area, don't drive to it as a destination. You have lot of other attractions worth your time and effort. And there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area so make sure you have a repellent handy

I suggest not wasting your time driving 24 miles on the Edgerton Hwy. to get to this campground. There are only 6 sites that we could find with 2 pretty ones on the water and 3 appeared to be side-by-side parking spaces. The entry drive is very narrow and steep.

Great little area to stop and have a picnic by the waterfall on a hot day. The hike above the falls takes about 35 min to get to the top of the trail. Good little hike to get the blood moving.
