If shopping in the store it’s great. My review is the Bush Orders. DO NOT make a bush order. They use Ryan air and you won’t get your groceries until weeks, even months later. I specifically ask them to go through a different freight but they sent it Ryan instead. I will not be doing a bush order through them ever again.

This was the best AC Store I've been to in all of my work trips around Alaska. They were well stocked, produce looked fresh, avocados were only $3.49 each, and staff was courteous. The lines were quite long when I was there around 5:30pm, but another checkout line was opened to speed things up.

The place is kept very clean. They have a restroom, but it is quite challenging to get in as you would need a code and must be escorted by an employee. They have a great selection with reasonable prices. They also serve hot food in the back which is pretty good. Avoid going here on the first of the month, it gets extremely busy.

I shop here every few months when I can get into Bethel. The last time I went to get fresh fruit and vegetables for my family they were out of pretty much Everything. They were also out of most of their bulk frozen foods and frozen berries.This place is basically like a very expensive Walmart. Many of the food items that are available in our village are the same price as the AC or slightly cheaper. We shop here mostly for the variety of fresh food.Dont do bush orders from here. They have messed up most of the orders I have called in. I am Very specific when I call in an order and I have told them Not to make substitutions at all and they still just grab whatever resembles the items on the order. For example I asked for 2 of the large family size bags of iceburg lettuce mix. I was sent 12....yes 12 small bags of a variety of lettuces. Some iceburg mix, some romaine mix, and Lots of spring mix which my kids don't eat. I asked for 10 pounds of Gala or Fuji apples. I was sent 10 pounds of Washington apples. I asked for 3 bags of mandarin oranges I was sent loose oranges.They did pack my 2 flats of eggs really well so none of the eggs were broken when we got them which was nice.The staff at the AC is for the most part friendly and the store is clean. We will continue to shop here but we probably wont be calling in any more bush orders.

My friend that I went in with has an eye infection and was kicked out for being "high" and loudly embarrassed by the new manager, even though he was not "high" AT ALL I believe he was being discriminated against. not the first time I've seen something like this happen too.

It is a local grocery store that would be best described as a one-stop-shopping outlet. They also feature furniture, clothing, and housewares. You can also purchase 4 wheelers and snow machines. Bring your wallet with your life-savings because the $100 bill is just a bethel $20.

Pricey!! However they have most of the products I would buy from down states. The best, "most stocked" time to go is the first of the month. Unless the fruit/veggies are "in season" watch for mold and rot....especially the fresh berries.

My partner was offered a job at this company. They were going to pay to move us out there and have a house for us to live in. My partner signed the contract and did the drug test. He didn’t respond for a few days due to personal reasons and the person who we were talking to ghosted us and hasn’t responded back to us after sending an email a few days prior stating they were going to look for someone else if we didn’t respond. My partner has been contacting the person in charge of hiring and she has not returned any calls or emails. Very unprofessional.

I had placed my order order on December 15th 2021. It took AC Bethel 2 1/2 weeks to even get my order to the airlines to have it flown out to me where I live. I called AC and asked them if they new when my order would be shipped out and they told me that they were waiting for the airlines to call them to let them know then the airlines would be taking freight. I called the airlines and they said that they do not and have not ever called AC to let them know that they are taking freight. The airlines also said that AC is to bring the freight and they accept the freight and hold it until they have a flight going out. So after several calls to AC they finally got my groceries to the airlines. I had ordered a total of 88 items and I only received 34 items of the 88 that I had ordered. I did not know what thing I did not get until I checked the receipt and that is when I found that what things AC did not pick for my order. I spent almost $400.00 dollars and I didn’t get half of the things that I had ordered such as dairy products, produce, frozen foods and juices. I was very upset when I found out that I didn’t get even half of the things that I had originally ordered because on AC’s website you don’t know if they are out of certain things or not, you can only hope that you get everything that you ordered. I know there is no way that AC was out of all the things that I didn’t get that I ordered. This is the worst experience that I have ever had shopping on line. So please do your self a favor, DO MOT ORDER FROM AC IF YOU CAN HELP IT. THEY WILL SHORT YOU OF THE THINGS YOU ORDER AND THEN CHARGE YOU WAY TO MUCH TO HAVE IT PICKED. THEIR PICKING CHARGE IT RIDICULOUS.

Love to take advantage of the sale items as I can always freeze them or save them for use at a later date. A clean store with friendly employees and I aways come home with more than what is on my shopping list.

Good selection, but be prepared for high prices. I definitely had some sticker shock going in here after coming from the lower 48. Ended up spending 70$ on a small box of items. But hey, if you need it, this is the place to go. Think of it like a smaller Costco or Walmart. Bulk item section, GCI phone and internet company inside, coolers, 4 wheelers, meats, dairy, cooking utensils, etc. They have a little bit of everything. Just be prepared to pay more for it.

They happened to overcharged me for 1 item & I noticed it on my receipt, the next time I was there I told them about it.The manager looked at my receipt & refunded the money with no questions!
